To A Friend
Dear friend,
how are you? I'm great, yes, I love my life at Hogwarts. I had some friends and I have great academics. I still feel lonely sometimes, though, for I miss my parents and I don't have a bestie.
I am looking forward to my next lesson ad I do hope I can earn some more points for Ravenclaw. For me, transfiguration is the hardest and my favourite subjects are Charms and Herbology. I also love to read in the library, that's when I can immerse myself in knowledge and forget my lonliness.
This is a messy letter, but I do await your owl.

Hello,
I was extremely surprised to receive a random owl from a random person, but, regardless of that weird little incident, I am doing well, thank you. Well, to be fair, who doesn’t love a school of magic? Well, maybe me. Being a pureblood, I grew up around magic, and I know every little magical secret, just not the academic ones.
I have a best friend here at Hogwarts, two best friends, even a date to be frank, but it is lovely news that you are looking for a new friend to add to your little group. You are privileged to miss your parents, because they deserve you missing them. Many parents don’t; my parents don’t. My father was often away for work, and while I think my mother truly cared for me, she was always more of a tutor rather than family. Still, I want to have a new family here at Hogwarts, and indeed, a better family.
I am glad to hear you are in Ravenclaw as well. You are right to earn more points for our house. For me, in the academic subjects (which excludes flying and herbology), transfiguration is hardest for me as well, but also potions. They are the only subjects I sometimes get an E in. As for Charms, it is one of my best subjects, being a duellist. I’m horrible and herbology and flying though. The library is, indeed, a wonderful place… do you mind sneaking into the restricted section?

Tell you a secret, I did have a date before, but he is not active on talking to me, we both grew bored so he asked to not contact again. I was heartbroken at that time, but later on I realized I actually didn't like him either.
As for Transfiguration, it's the only subject I got an E on, I was shocked and sad when I received my feedback, but there's nothing I can do. I heard you can only get an 0 in Trans if you're 100% correct...
I wrote a letter to my parents, who loved me very much, telling them how much I missed them, I suppose they would be writing back soon. Actually, every parent in the world loved their children, even though their behaviours are sometimes misunderstood by kids.
