"...Alright, I'll be sure to do that" Ashley wondered whether he had offended Kierce or said something hurtful to him after noticing the coldness in his tone. To express his thoughts aloud, he felt extremely hesitant and cautious, and the coldness really brushed him off a little. "S-Sorry, didn't mean to sound like that" Kierce's voice was imperturbable. Although Ashley was unsure of how to interpret the situation, he nodded gently and felt his heart forgiving him right away.

"Ah, I see. My suspicion was validated." Ashley gave Kierce another wink. They appeared to get closer as the seconds passed as he was trying to conceal his embarrassing tone. With no awareness of it. "However, I believe the moment has come for you to turn over Cyprus." He said with a small amount of assurance.

Ashley watched Kierce closely. At that very time, he didn't want to watch Cyprus ascend his hand. He kept repeating in his head, "I can do this, I can do this, I can do this," for a few times.
"I trust you, but I don't want anyone to get hurt, or for any guilt for doing something that harmed someone else on my mind.".
" I just want you to have faith in me and the procedure. I know you do, and I know you also have some fear. " As he let out a sigh, he reached out and softly rubbed Kay's shoulder. The boy noted that Kierce was hesitant about doing this, which was understandable given that he was aware of Ashley's fear of spiders and, of course, Cyprus' safety.

"Of course you can, it's not exactly you I'm worried about"He spoke. Ashley was at a loss for how to handle the circumstance, so he chose to accept the reality that Kierce would rather put Cyprus's health first than assist a friend. Or was Ashley's hunch incorrect?

After Kierce said that, he wanted to leave the area. Perhaps he felt foolish or like he was being played, and his feelings were deceiving him. His face has changed as a result, which was apparent.

Ashley briefly stopped breathing after feeling eight legs crawl across his palm. Cyprus's touch made Ashley feel as though he wanted to toss her out, but he never goes back on his word, and he assured Kierce to put his confidence in him, so it would not be appropriate to violate that trust straight quickly. He opened his eyes gradually and was relieved to see Cyprus on his arm. He grinned at the sight.
When he turned to face Kierce, he heard him remark, "See no problems, in fact this is one of her... better experiences with someone new holding her, maybe she likes you? Or maybe she's just remarkably calm today. If you still don't like her you can hand her back to me."
"Not at all, Really, wow. I succeeded in doing this." While still holding Cyprus, Ashley turned to face Kierce. All of his phobias were dissipated, and he was ecstatic about this. "You are now my Certified Hunter," He said teasing Cyprus at that very moment. "She is adorable, you know." Ashley said so.

Kierce was happy when Ashley nodded. Kierce didn't mean to come off cold. (He can be pretty tone deaf at times) He knew that he didn't want to talk about how he felt, it just wasn't something he was normally comfortable with discussing. Don't say sorry again, you already said sorry you shouldn't apologize multiple times, it makes you sound like you did something worse than you did. He had been scolded by his family many times for over apologizing for little things, and not apologizing for big things.(Like locking his brother out of his room when he took Kierce's new book on science)

I was processing my joke, realizing if I may have worded my words differently I might have been able to say it better.
"Ah, I see. My suspicion was validated."
I laughed, happy to see that Ashley also thought of it as a joke. Ashley rubbed my shoulder, to which I tensed up. Isn't that how horror movies start, a side character meets the killer the killer seems really nice and eventually they're murdered, or is that a different cliche? Either way it made me slightly uncomfortable, as I couldn't really understand why he did that.
"However, I believe the moment has come for you to turn over Cyprus." I gave a small smile and nodded.

Kierce was a little shaky, not wanting anything to happen to Ashley, or Cyprus.

" Kierce's mind went to a loop at the word 'procedure' as though Ashley already had thought of everything that could happen and knew how to deal with it, which unnerved Kierce a little. But Kierce brushed it off as a misunderstanding of his mind, and nodded.

Ashley's face changed, I wondered why, but didn't ask(I didn't want to talk about how I felt why would he?)
Kierce was happy to see Ashley smile, since it was much better than Ashley being afraid of him and Cyprus. He turned toward me,
"Not at all, Really, wow. I succeeded in doing this." I gave a broad smile.
"That is correct, congratulations on holding a spider! I said giving Ashley a round of applause.
"You are now my Certified Hunter," Kierce found that adorable and smiled at the comment towards the "little" spider.
"She is adorable, you know." Kierce laughed, leaning a bit closer to Ashley as he began to trust him more and more.
"weren't you just terrified of her a few minutes ago, now you call her adorable? And I'd assume she has the same feeling about you. My face went a little pink, I didn't know why, but I felt like I had something I should have been embarrassed about, so I took a step back. "Well... Back to your potion right? You have everything you need for it correct? I looked back over to the cauldron.

That was incredibly awkward, not just awkward. However, once that circumstance was in motion, it was simple to move past it. Despite the fact that Kierce did seem to be suffering from an apology fever, Ashley knew that only one thing could be the result, as their future escapades would prove. He mused to himself, "In- oh, perhaps I may be mistaken; I shall question him someday."

When Ashley brushed Kierce's shoulders, the boy immediately stiffened them; this reaction was quite understandable and suggested that the other boy disliked being touched in a particular way. He would have reacted similarly if he had been the victim of such treatment. Finally, while Ashley was holding Cyprus in his palm, albeit it was adorable and demanded most of his mental energy, The youngster was not comfortable around spiders, but as he ended up holding one, he was proud of himself. That means the boy did not actually have an intense fear for spiders; rather, his fear was something he simply needed to get over, and in this instance, he did.

"That is correct, congratulations on holding a spider!" Ashley laughed heartily as soon as Kierce offered him a heartwarming response by clapping his hands. He continued to chuckle, saying, "I feel honoured, and I thank you. "weren't you just terrified of her a few minutes ago, now you call her adorable? And I'd assume she has the same feeling about you.

He chuckled as he stared at Kierce, saying, "Haha more like I was scared of spiders for my entire life, I swear I would have casted a spell on it, you are a spider warrior." "Well... Back to your potion right? You have everything you need for it correct?
He replied with a disturbed tone, "Yes, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. To be honest," Ashley has been trying so hard that he's almost given up. Actually, nothing is happening rather the outcome of the potion is just horrible. This was surprising because he always perseveres, but perhaps he was simply exhausted from the day's work and needed some time to rest, study more, and perhaps seek advice from Professor Regan.
