Keith had been glad to be back at Hogwarts. The game at Clark's over break had been fun- but Keith didn't focus on the game much. He thought about other things. But now he was back and he had different things to focus on. He had classes and stuff, and the year was already almost over. With his Birthday being tomorrow, ha had no idea what was in store for the future. Would he get attacked at a ball like Lily Brown had at the fall ball? Would he start dating Clark- he still had yet to tell his aunts about the kiss. Keith sighed and got his morning clothes on, a red and black tie-dye XPLR hoodie, and his ripped black jeans. He also decided to put on a beanie, a faded black one. No shoes, as always, and his new favorite book, Paradise Island by Sam and Colby.
Keith went downstairs- all the way to the Grand Hall. Grabbing breakfast, a chocolate muffin, and some hot coffee, he headed out to the Great Lake. He had planned on reading up in that one tree he had talked to Colin by. It was a big tree, and looked fun to climb. So Keith headed that direction.
Keith climbed the tree, his book tucked under his chin. He sat on a branch, set his booked down, and ate his muffin, that had been stored in his hood. He was ready to read the next chapter in this book.

Colin was out early for his run. This morning he went up to the stone outcropping in the high meadow above the castle. It was a brisk morning: cool clean air and the piercing warmth of the Sun on Colin's skin. He stood for a long while just gazing over the high country all around. He'd read about how glaciers gouged out Scotland's valleys and lochs and he wondered if there weren't really frost giants or rime trolls living back in the day who played a part as well.
Far down the meadows, he caught sight of another early riser. Well, a late riser compared to Colin! But early enough to be the first student out on the grounds. Whoever it was, he was headed down towards the lake. Colin felt the urge to investigate. It was almost time for breakfast anyway, so he might as well make a stop and see who was heading down to the enchanting and enticing water's edge! He ran back down through the high meadows, his open shirt flapping along behind him like a sail.
Colin smiled as he got closer to where he'd seen the boy heading. Hah! Familiar red hair. No shoes. Sitting on a low limb of a familiar tree. Probably thousands of Hoggys students had sat in this tree, reading, chatting, getting their hearts broken. But today it was Keith's turn. He had a book, and Colin wondered what it was.
"Ayo!" he called up. "I saw red hair bobbing down towards the water, though I reckon Keith wasn't going down there for an illegal swim?" Colin clambered up into the tree and perched himself further along the broad limb. "Whatcha doing anyway? Reading or daydreaming?"
Colin smirked at his friend. If he had to guess, it would probably be the latter!

The great hall was mostly empty this time of morning, it definitely wouldn't stay that way for long. André knew that. So he quickly ducked until the hall, and swiped a piece of toast covered in strawberry jam off the Gryffindor table. He still had some time before classes that morning so he was dressed in some quick and easy to out on clothes! A white shirt and some jeans. Yep. Very easy.
The hufflepuff walked to the great lake, one of his favorite places to sit and relax. He was halfway through his toast by this point.. What a shame he was enjoying it to!! Just like the great hall the grounds seemed empty as well, probably because most people were in the hall eating or the common rooms getting ready to eat.
Like with most things there were exceptions, this time there were two of them at least. Other then André. And they happened to be in a tree? André had climbed a few trees before, not many but he had fun when he did. The two boys seemed to be having fun as well. What harm could he do if he just walked up and asked to join? Worst thing that could happen was they said no. He would apologize and be on his marry way, they say yes, he hoped in the tree and maybe get some friends!
Finishing up the last of his toast the first year walked to the tree. "Is there room for one more in there?" He asked, the looked friendly enough.
