Unexpected studying Open Closed

Pandora went to the study room, where she could study, with her bunny on one shoulder and her bag on the other. No, she normally likes people and is active enough, but prefers silence to study.

Christmas was approaching and he still had homework to finish. I think I should work harder today, Pandora said to herself. Her rabbit was with her as usual. Tia was excited as always. But that couldn't be said for Pandora.

When he came to the study, there was only one girl and she was sitting in the back. It was quite cold inside but quiet. She went to one of the front rows and sat down. She put his rabbit next to him. She put his things on the table and got to work.

Meanwhile, her bunny jumped off her desk and went to the back table where the girl was. However, before Pandora could act, Tia immediately saw that she had dropped the ink and had soaked the girl's parchment. She quickly approached the girl and began to speak quickly.

"I'm so, so sorry. I'm really sorry. Tia is a little too active but for some reason she really wants to be by my side. I can give you a scroll if you want, or I can help you redo your homework." She took her rabbit angrily in her hand.

Valarie’s head shot up, startled. Ink had spilt onto her parchment. A girl, one she recognized, rushed over to her.
"I'm so, so sorry. I'm really sorry. Tia is a little too active but for some reason she really wants to be by my side. I can give you a scroll if you want, or I can help you redo your homework,” the girl said to her. Valarie smiled.
“No it’s okay. This was just my notes but I don’t need it. I know the topic pretty well,” Valarie explained to her. Valarie couldn’t help wondering how she knew her when, suddenly, it came to her.
“Oh I know you! You’re Pandora, right?” She asked. “We met when we got sorted into our houses! We haven’t seen one another for a while. It’s nice to see you again!” Valarie grinned, overjoyed to see one of her first friends again. Valarie cleared away the spoiled parchment and mopped up the spilled ink. When she finished, she looked up at Pandora.
“Do you want to study together? Or maybe if your prefer to study alone we could meet up after and hang out?” Valarie asked. It had been a long time since she had hung out with a friend. While Valarie awaited her response, she carefully began to organize her area just in case her friend was interested in studying. The silence was making Valarie a bit uncomfortable so she quickly asked her,
“How are you?”

She was relieved when she said that the girl didn't matter. She looked at her when she said her name. She looked closely at the girl. She had light brown curly hair and brown eyes. It was Valaria, whom she met at the ranking ceremony.

"Oh I remember. Hi Valarie. It's been a while. How's it going. It's a weird encounter, actually."

She smiled. Meanwhile, angry, Tia tried to get away from him, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't escape. When Valarie asked a question, she focused on him.

"Sure yes. I will study even if I don't want to, at least let me study with an acquaintance. Tia is already mad at me. Trying to get out of my hand."

She smiled and went to her old desk. She put her never-studied books and parchment ink in her bag. To her bunny Tia whispering:

"I know you're bored but I have to finish these assignments and you wanted to come over, you jumped on my shoulder. So be patient. Okay?"

She put her bag on her arm and took her even more comfortable bunny in her hand. She went back to Valarie and sat down:

"Are you good in classes? I can't say I'm very good, but I'm trying to be good."

Valarie couldn’t place why she was so relieved Pandora said yes to studying with her. Maybe it was because she hadn’t seen her in a while. Valarie studied Pandoras and her rabbit. They seemed like a good pair and it made Valarie think of her pets back home. Valarie pushed the thought of her pets out of her head; thinking about her own pets made her miss her home anymore.
"Sure yes. I will study even if I don't want to, at least let me study with an acquaintance. Tia is already mad at me. Trying to get out of my hand." Pandora said. Valarie smiled at her response. Pandora went back to her desk and collected her things. Valarie quickly cleaned up her space to make more room for Pandora. When Pandora got back to Valarie and sat down she asked,
"Are you good in classes? I can't say I'm very good, but I'm trying to be good."
“I like History of Magic but what I really like is flying class! I’ve always thought flying and being up in the air is such a thrill! Although, it is a bit odd that I love heights since most of my family doesn’t. But really all of my classes are fine. There really isn’t any that I don’t care for. What classes do you like?” Valarie asked. She pulled a clean parchment from the stack she had brought with her. She set one and in front of herself and offered another to Pandora.
“Here you go, Pandora!” Valarie said to her friend with a bright smile. She turned over to her parchment and carefully ripped off a small piece and handed it in the direction of Tia.
“And here you are Tia!” She said with a grin and laugh as she handed the paper to her friend’s rabbit.

"So I guess I'm good at potions and good at Defending Against the Dark Arts."

She put his rabbit next to him. He hoped she would stay calm. Putting the parchment before him, Valarie turned. She smiled.

"Thank you."

She saw that Tia, who calmed down even more when the piece of parchment was placed in front of her, was happy about it. Made a sweet sound. She brought out her books again. I guess she could finally finish this assignment now.

"Christmas is approaching. Do you have any plans for Christmas?"

It's almost Christmas, and Tia makes an angry noise. Probably because he didn't take her to the party, she thought. She patted Tia's head lightly. But Tia still turned her back. Feeling the need to explain to Vala, she began to speak.

"Just a little angry."

Then she went back to her lesson. She actually wanted to talk, but she didn't want her classes to stay. She knew that if she talked, she wouldn't be able to stop. Then she couldn't help but spoke

"I don't know much about you, can you tell me a little bit about yourself? For example, what is your favorite color? Or what are your hobbies? Or what fantasy animal would you like to be if you had the chance?"

Valarie thanked her for the parchment and Valarie nodded to say: ‘you’re welcome’. As Valarie faced her studies, she worked silently before Pandora spoke again this time asking her about Christmas, a topic Valarie didn’t really wish to talk about for the exact reason she told Pandora.
“Not really…I am staying here for Christmas because my family thinks it’ll be too expensive to get both me and my older sister home by train,” she explained to Pandora. She flipped through some parchments she had just written on. Pandora muttered something about Tia that Valarie didn’t hear and turned back to Valarie asking her to tell her a bit about herself. Valarie looked back at Pandora and thought through some things she could tell the girl.
“Well…my favorite color is purple or blue. I have an older sister in sixth year named Adeline. Um…sorry this is difficult…I have three cats at home named Paris, London, and Dublin. We named them after famous places just so you know.” Valarie suddenly realized she didn’t know much about Pandora herself, other than the fact she had a rabbit, and was a first year Ravenclaw, that was really the extend to her knowledge of Pandora and her home life.
“What about you? What is your favorite color?”Valarie asked Pandora.

"Sorry to hear that. If I had stayed at Hogwarts, we could have fun together."

Pandora was serious in her words. She would have stayed at Hogwarts if he hadn't been to the party. Didn't know if it was a good idea.

Pandora was listening intently as Vala spoke about herself. She thought she had a beautiful life. Presumably, if she had not bought a rabbit, she would have bought a cat. When she asked the question to herself, she thought for a while and answered.

"I have two twin siblings. One is a girl and one is a boy. My mother is a witch and my father is Muggle. My mother is an Auror and my father is Hunter. My mother taught me to play the piano and my father taught me archery. Our house is in the woods near the town."

She took a deep breath when he finished speaking. She had talked too much. She took water out of her bag and drank it. When she regained consciousness, she turned to Vala.

"I think I talked too much. I'm sorry if it bothered you. I think it's nice to be an only sibling. At least you don't have to share your stuff"

Normally he was someone who liked to share. But if you have a brother named Sam you can understand what she's saying

Valarie smiled at Pandora’s suggestion that they could have spent time together if she hadn’t gone home for the holidays. Valarie twirled her quill around in her hand while smiling gently.
“That would have been fun but you should spend time with your family.” Valarie had always valued time with her family even if her sister didn’t. She listened intently as Pandora spoke about her family, two younger siblings- twins. She was a half-blood whose mother was an Auror and father was a hunter. To Valarie, that fascinated her. It also intrigued her that they lived in the woods! How fun that must be!
“Oh! No of course not! The amount you spoke was the perfect amount for you! And you didn’t bother me. My house was always… quiet. It is nice to have someone talkative around.” She offered a smile to her friend. Valarie felt herself becoming gradually more and more tired. Not wanting to be rude and fall asleep in front of her friend, she stood quietly to inform her of the feeling.
“If you do not mind, I think I will return to the common room. I am getting quite tired and I think resting will do me better than studying will. I had a grand time with you!” A warm smile took over Valarie’s face as she gathered her books and began walking towards the door but she stopped short and turned back around to Pandora.
“Thank you for the magnificent company, Pandora! I hope to see you again soon!” And with that Valarie walked out of the room.

Pandora was very relieved to hear that Vala was not disturbed. She was talking too much most of the time. She smiled and went back to her lesson. She wouldn't want to live in a quiet house. A house like this would be so boring.

"See you, Vala. Thank you for befriending me."

She smiled. She watched Vala collect her books and head for the door. She was surprised when she stopped. She replied with a smile.

"I hope we meet again. We are already in the same common room. So we can meet."

She watched Vala leave the classroom. She was almost alone in the classroom now. She looked at her rabbit and saw that he was already asleep. She had to understand from the silence in the classroom anyway. When she looked at her notes again, he realized that he did not understand. How long had she been here?

After taking one last look at her notes, she gathered her things and picked them up, trying not to wake her bunny. She thought I could work in the dining room or work in the common room. She looked into the study for the last time and closed the door and left.
