CL Magic castle ahead!

Frost had waved his parents goodbye and was finally ready for the journey to his first real school. A magical school. The train looked massive and the platform had been very busy. He wasn't ready for this much social interactions yet... Nonetheless, Frost had to get his thoughts together and find a place to sit.
When he entered the train, the first 9 carriages he walked through were completely filled up. Luckily for him, the 10th had an empty compartment. It was probably because some students had already spilled some water on the ground and everyone preferred a more comfortable seat. He didn't care and sat down next to the window.

'All those kids in the train... I hope someone will be nice enough to join me... Although, some privacy and sleeping could be nice as well. If someone kind joins it'd be alright too. I probably can't stay alone for the whole schoolyear anyway.'

His parents were outside, waving him goodbye and he waved back. Gently, as to make sure nobody thought him a fool or a weirdo. Frost might not like social interactions, but his self-awareness isn't lacking.
He heard the conductor make the final call and couldn't help feeling a little bit excited. 'Hogwarts, I have long awaited you, here I come!'

I still have yet to make an exit post on the first thread, but Caoimhe drops a treasured yearbook that belongs to her father under her first seat. As the train accelerates to their destination, the book slides under people's feet and leads her to new friends on the train.

-----Caoimhe was quick to apologize to abandon Verthandi so urgently, but a jerk in the train's course caused her father's yearbook to fall out of her bag and slide under the seat. A dread filled Caoimhe rushed through the narrow passageway between compartments on both sides, and occasionally got on her hands and knees looking under the seats between sections.

"Excuse me, sorry!" Caoimhe called as she weaved between train attendants and students that were in her path. She could see students peeking from their privacy curtain's as Caoimhe stumbled by causing her cheeks to get hot, and Caoimhe cringed. How convenient, and of course she probably looked like a fool freaking out about losing her favorite possession. I'm going to be the joke of the year, she fumed.

She could see the green-hard covered book slide down farther, and she walked along with it to meet it. Occasionally a hand or two would reach down to grab it, but the train tracks pushed the book further away before it could be reached. Finally the train's path was smooth and straight, and the book stopped sliding after nearly the end of the cart. Even if it did continue to slide, it would hit a wall causing the end of this chaos.

Caoimhe knocked on the diving wall before slightly pulling the curtain back, a white haired fellow sitting in the seat. Under his feet, the book would lay. "Hey, um, can I get that from you?" She asked shyly, pointing to his shoes. Caoimhe wasn't much for being shy, but this whole experience greatly embarrassed her.

"Ma'am, please take your seat," an attendant instructed with a polite smile, but firm voice gesturing to the seat beside the boy.
"..Okay..." Caoimhe responded sheepishly before smiling at the boy again, "Is it okay if I sit?"
She turned her head forward to where her original spot was and spotted her friend, Verthandi, walking in her direction with a concerned look. She must have followed Caoimhe out to get her father's yearbook, so she was also bound to sit with them too.
"My friend is coming, is it okay if she also joins me?" Her smile was honest, kind. She knew she just bombarded his space and privacy. She felt awful as this was no way for an introduction to go.

Frost had gotten a little more comfortable in his seat, and as the train took off his parents moved out of sight and he could finally relax. Nobody to worry about. But then, all of a sudden a green book, and after that, a girl of the same age quickly got inside. The short girl pointed at the book which had just landed next to his feet and politely asked if he could pick it up. Frost had learned from his father to always be a gentleman, so naturally he picked it up and gave it back with a friendly smile on his face.
"Here you go."
He behaved friendly, but inside he sort of wished she'd leave him to sit in silence again. This wish was not fulfilled. The attendant had urged her to sit down, and he felt like accepting the fact that he'd have to sociallize was the only option he had at this moment. He tried to hide his slightly annoyed sigh. "Yes, sit down before you fall down, please," he said as friendly as he possibly could. "It's fine with me if your friend also wants to sit here, there's plenty enough seats in here anyway."

He thought of a good way to start the conversation. Asking about the weather would be a little too boring, but asking about the book a little too intrusive. He decided to go with the obvious: the start of the new schoolyear. "So, are you looking forward to this school? I've heard they have amazing teachers and a quality quidditch pitch!" His voice became a little more excitedly-sounding as he got to the 'quidditch' part. He hoped this first encounter would continue to go smoothly and he even started to see the positive side of potentially making some friends.

-----If Caoimhe knew one thing about body language, it was clear this guy wanted to be left alone for the duration of the trip and Caoimhe couldn't have agreed more; she didn't want to sit here, but attendants did not give her the option to turn back to their original seat if it was still available. This would have to do.

Caoimhe turned her head towards the front of the cart once more to see where Verthandi went, but it appeared she was forced to possibly sit down too. "Crap.." Caoimhe murmured in swahili to avoid sounding rude. A frown touched her lips seeing that she'd be alone, but turned to him with a small, awkward smile when taking her seat facing the white-haired individual. ""Thank you, I'm sorry.."

A small smile reached her face revealing a dimple on the corner of her mouth; perhaps some conversation would do the two good: ""Yes, I am very excited," Caoimhe expressed honestly with a genuine smile while her fingertips grazed the yearbook cover, "My father told me many stories of his dueling and insane quidditch matches...such a thrilling sport." Caoimhe had an urge to open the book up to see if there was any moving-photos revealing any of these matches, but something stopped her. The book caused her enough embarrassment for one day.

She noticed his voice inflated when mentioning quidditch, so Caoimhe decided to further the topic of discussion by inquiring: ""Were your parents big time quidditch players in their years?"
