Do Not Just Admire Me...
...Open Me!!!
As Simon sat in the Great Hall during breakfast on the morning of 7 February, 2023, he was surprised when an owl delivered a somewhat unusual message crafted especially for him. It was an origami dragon, but it was not just any origami dragon. It came with a little note hanging around its neck that said: ...Open Me!!!
Simon turned the paper dragon upside down and all around, admiring the handiwork, though at this point, he did not know it was from AngelFyre, who was practicing her casting in the Duelling Club as he sat there amongst friends. If he suspected it may be from her, he could not be 100% certain until he unfolded it and read it. He read the instruction around the neck one more time, but he would be torn as to whether he should or not. She knew, without even being there, he would be dying to unfold it to see what was inside, but she knew also that he would not want to destroy what was before him.
Decisions, decisions.
He ultimately did as instructed, as she knew he would, to find the following (magically unwrinkled
) invitation.
