Parcel clicked his tongue. The girls seemed to be frozen stiff or something, was the house elf that beat up? Did they lose their heads when they saw blood. Perhaps it was Parcel that was the weird one, having little trouble with blood and mangled bodies. It might have stemmed from the time Parcel himself had a bad fall on his broom and were bleeding all over, resulting in the scar he had on his chin. Perhaps that had desensitized him to gore.

Parcel tried to decipher the house elf’s words. "I did nothing wrong. I never do anything wrong! He is dangerous, we need to leave!"
The ramblings made Parcel knit his brow. That’s not an answer to his question at all, but the elf said “he” at least, so Perhaps Parcel could rule out another basilisk or the likes. But other then that Parcel didn’t get anything on who this “he” was or what had happened to the elf.

“Hey! Elf, don’t you have your own kind of magic? Like, elf magic or something? Don’t you have your own form of apparition to get away from here, why aren’t you back at the castle being treated?”
It was something nagging in the back of Parcel’s mind, if you had the means to get away, why stay? It could be some sort of backwards law that the house elf had to follow, yes, but then again, would a head of house be the kind of person that would maim a living being and order it to lay dying in a cave? Parcel couldn’t convince himself of that, then there had to be something else keeping the elf here.

With a hardened expression on his face, Parcel started waddling out into the water. If the girls had frozen, then he would walk over there and punch them awake. Nothing bad had happened when Rosie had walked through the water, so hopefully the pink shade wasn’t anything bad. On the contrary, if Parcel looked at Rosie, then he could see that the only thing the water did was wash away that stupid cat getup.
Parcel walked with bent knees, trying to keep himself as steady as possible. He had seen Rosie fall down, so he would try and traverse it more controlled. After all, he didn’t want to lose the torch in the water.
Actions:
- Talk more to the Elf
- Traverse the Water over to where the elf is
- Spend extra care not to fall down or be pulled by the stream

"be brave. take risks. nothing can substitute experience."

Oh no.

When Rosie stepped into the water, she didn't expect the waters to be so harsh. She let out a yelp and fell into the water, gasping and coughing. She was never the best swimmer, and the shock just made the whole ordeal worse. "OOF-!" She coughed out water, trying to push herself up slowly. She glanced behind her shoulder to one, see Lucy safely across the water and on the other side, and two, her hand out.

She laughed nervously and grabbed her hand. "I'm good, thankfully." Rosie pulled herself onto the platform and sighed at herself, drenched. Rosie went to pat her hair, and realized she had... No ears? Her eyebrows rose and she felt for her whiskers, then her tail. Gone. "Thank god." She sighed.

Rosie finally turned to the house elf, crouching near her. Unlike Parcel, she tried to comfort the frightened house elf, holding her hand out gently. "Hey, it's okay. Who's here? Who hurt you? Is it someone in here?" Rosie grabbed her cloak that she had wrapped around her shoulders and instead put it on the house elf's, wrapping it snug around them. "We should really get out of here," she looked back at Lucy, "we've gotta help them." Rosie then turned to Parcel. "And make yourself useful, yeah? I don't think questions are gonna help him." Rosie stood, wiping some water off her face and crouching near the house elf.

"We can let you relax for a moment, but we really do need to move. Just take a few deep breaths." She rubbed his shoulder cautiously. It's all good. It was all good, right? The more Rosie stood in this weird event, the more anxious she got, and the more she just wanted it to be over. And she had to sleep her? Rosie remembered getting her sleeping bag. She wondered if she'd even be able to sleep.
