BAAANG! The doors flung as I uselessly threw them open, no one ever dares to go to the Abandoned bathrooms, generations of grim and germs swarm the place, but it made it perfect for as it proved itself to be a private place. I walked into the bathroom, it was truly a disgusting place, I caught a glance of myself in the grimy cracked mirror that stood above the sinks. My eyeliner was smeared all around my hazel eyes, my pale skin was accompanied by bright red burns that decorated my face. I tried to hold back the feeling in my chest as I looked myself in the eyes, I slumped to the ground as my knees weakened. My body shook violently the more I tried to hold back my feelings, my heart was hurt, there was no denying it. But I had to be stronger than that, bottle up my emotions like a genie in a magical lamp. But it came all tha same, I saw drops of scarlet red drop onto my pants followed by another. My burns screamed in pain as my blood washed over them, my tears.... I let it out, my tears of blood streamed down my face as I wailed, they cam out faster than I could wipe with my sleeves, so I gave up. I let my feelings explode, full of anger, resentment, happiness, love, hate, hurt, sadness, fear, pain, hope, and depression. Everything so far has been both a dream and a nightmare, leaving my mother to live with the grandfather I never knew, and that doesn't and will never approve of me, having disadvantages in magic and in the world due to the blood of my father that is dead and can't teach how to handle myself or being proud of who I am. Yet I've learned so many things, and met new people, yet they don't know my secrets, so I am never really me and the judgement before people even get to know me. I feel like the Daemon from the book of Frankenstein, like there is only one me and millions of people that are similair, maybe it's just my fear that I will never be accepted for who I am without and judgement. The fear to be me, to live my life. Because no matter what, if I give my blood, sweat, and tears I will always be alone... The blood continued to trickle down my cheek...

"Forget about the dirty looks. The photographs your boyfriend took. You said you read me like a book. But the pages all are torn and frayed!"

Reena had rushed to the bathroom to check herself, it was aunt flow time. After she hid in one of the stalls and pulled out a spare pad, she fixed herself up. Luckily she had an extra. And the blood hadn't stained her pants yet either, so she was all good. She tucked in her white blouse to the black dress pants and fastened her belt. She walked out the bathroom stall and washed her hands slowly, looking away from the mirror. She hadn't gotten used to her hair yet, but at least she was matching with her mom. Slowly she glanced up quickly and caught something. She shook her hands and wiped something off her face.

She took some paper towels and dried her hands, when the door banged open. Someone burst in. Reena jumped and knocked her hip into the sink. "Sh-ow' she glanced up. This person was a personified version if a train wreck. Blood sweet and tears, literally-

Reena frowned. There was blood on this kids face. Probably a first year. Reena grabbed some paper towels and walked towards the first year. "here." She leaned down and began to dab at the blood with a straight face. youre going to make yourself sick. Whats wrong?

Her eyes narrowed suspiciously. She gazed down at the crumbling, grubby sinks and cracked floor with a look of utmost disgust. Leaning on the side of the door, she watched as the boy, about the same age as her, slumped to the corner of the abandoned toilets. It was obvious that he was crying.

She wondered if she should have made her presence known. But something stopped her, as her steely, icy black eyes gaze at the rotten room, and the boy in the corner. Her face was odd, as people other than her best friend could rarely tell what she was feeling. It was blank. She gripped her Pheonix wand that bore intricate patterns. She smoothed her pristine robes and looked at the sunken boy by the corner. His eyeliner was smeared and untidy but shrewd Duvessa seized him up easily. She caught her own reflection in the mirrors. Her hair as black as the dead of the night, with matching eyes and a pale, slender body was leaning against the exit. It seemed that the boy had not noticed her, but she has seen him running. What else was she meant to do?

Then, she cleared her throat.

Bailey got out of class, and really needed to use the restroom. Seeing that there were a lot of people waiting to use the lavatory, Bailey broke the only rule she ever did - she went to use the abandoned toilets. Bailey turned the corner, and saw the door shut. Seeing this, bailey paused. She did not want to be caught breaking a rule, even if it was just to use the bathroom.
Deciding that it was worth not having to go back to the other lavatory, Bailey walked forward. She was wearing a simi fashionable outfit, red sweater, black pants and white shoes, along with some red and gold jewelry.
Bailey opened the door slowly, and looked around. She saw who she thought was a first year, who had just cleared her throat. There was reena who Bailey knew from a few clubs and such. And then there was a boy, dripping blood, and that was the reason Bailey entered.
Concerned written clear across Bailey's face, she entered the room. Kneeling by the boy, she asked softly "Are you ok? Who did this - but actually, are you ok?"
The boy, no offense meant, looked like a train wreck. Bleeding, tears and blood and sweat dripping down his face, Bailey was concerned, and ready to defend the poor boy from whomever had attacked him.

Despite their filth, the abandoned toilets had become somewhat of a comfortable place for Lucas to sit alone. He'd become more and more diligent with his school work as the months had past, and if the library ever seemed a bit too busy for his likings, he'd gravitate to these usually empty bathrooms. Today was one of those days where he'd checked the library, and decided he'd be more productive in the toilets. He was wrong. So incredibly wrong.

The scene that he had stumbled into was not one Lucas was even remotely built for. Someone, presumably another first year, was in a state. Lucas was already slight taken aback, but he seemed to be very literally stunned by the sight of blood running from Bernards eyes. "Damn." was his rather helpful initial contribution to the scene, as he looked around the room, still rather stunned by it all. He briefly glanced back at the door, before deciding that running away wouldn't exactly help the situation, and would likely be insensitive to the situation, so instead he stepped forward and attempted a feat of great encouragement to the upset boy. A small smile, and a thumbs up. That'll do it.. He thought to himself, lacking any real experience in these situations.

Despite the incredibly convincing smile, Lucas' eyes were narrowed slightly, fixated on the blood around Bernard's eyes.

Unlike the rest, Duvessa made no hurry to the boy. With bored eyes, she examined her nails and then looked up.
"And I thought Slytherins get in most fights." She said quietly, more to herself as she looked at the crowd of people. A boy in Gryffindor robes was smiling awkwardly and giving a thumbs up while a girl with a pretty pink-red jumper and casual clothes was kneeling down and asking if her was okay. So was another Gryffindor - a girl who has rushed out of the cubiculs.

No one knew of the drama that was unfolding here, as the two girls knelt beside him and the boy was hestitant - Duvessa surveyed him closely, and it was easy to summon him up. As soon as he gave his smile, she instantly knew how awkward it felt for him. She then wondered how on earth the boy would have gotten blood. A fight was the most obvious answer....but was it? She felt dying to know, but didn't want to be to friendly. She wondered if she should ask something but then stopped. Everyone already did, the poor boy who was crying was obviously overwhelmed. No. She would wait until he answered himself. Once again, she smoothed her hair that lay evenly on each side of her head.

I was now drenched in my tears and blood, my hands now had dried blood on them as did my clothes. I only continued to cry into my knees when the most unexpected thing happen, a girl with milk-chocolate eyes and short matching hair appeared. Like an angel in your last hour.
"Here," She said leaning down gently wiping the blood off my face. I guess I wasn't as alone as I thought. "You're going to make yourself sick. What's wrong?"
I had no idea how to respond as I looked at the blood drenched tissue, she had caught me crying on the abandoned bathroom floors, looking like the definition of a mess. But I didn't have to answer as I heard someone clear their throat, I looked up to see a girl looking at me with icy black eyes and long black hair. But didn't stop there as another girl entered into the room, she wore a red sweater that contrasted to her blue-green eyes. Worry was plastered all over her face and she came over and kneeled beside me.
"Are you ok? Who did this - but actually, are you ok?" She said in a soft, sweet voice.
At her words I realized that they hadn't realized my unfortunate ancestry, but thought that someone did this to me. How could I explain what actually plagued me? The truth?
I looked up and around catching the sight of another student who stood awkwardly, the curly blonde boy gave a kind smile and thumbs up which made me smile a little, but only for a split-second. I didn't answer any of their questions as I noticed the almost judgemental looks from the raven-haired girl, I looked at all the kind faces that seemed to want to help. But why? Why would they want to help someone like me? Was it out of pity? Did they pity me? I was supposed to be alone but yet all these people came to my aid, if they knew who I was, they would look the other way and walk, maybe even run, leaving me once again... I tried to suck it up, not wanting to seem weak but instead I helplessly just put my head to my knees and continued to cry, I almost wished that I was alone, I tried to block out the world but they were all still there.
"Nothings wrong," I lied terribly sniffling. "I'm okay.... I promise."
I made a promise off of a lie, the real truth was: I'm not okay.

Reena continued wiping the boys face with the tissue, trying to rid the damp face of a red tint from the blood. The boy looked like vecna had gotten to him. The blood was coming straight from his eyes and Reena's face would have been full of concern, however, her face was usually straight. Her heart hurt a bit seeing anyone in this state. Wasn't hogwarts supposed to be magical, safe, and homey? That's the school her mom had dreamed of sending her daughter to. Not this awful nightmare that had reena waking up in the middle of the night, drenched I sweat and worried about her safety. Not the school that had a first year boy sobbing his heart out in some broke down bathroom , drenched in blood. There was nothing magical about this.

Other people walked in as well and reena stood up and turned on one of the faucets and wet another towel. She walked back to the boy and said "look up." she wiped the blood stains off of his face and from the trails on his neck. Reenas hands were now covered in blood.

She was concerned. "whoever did this to you " she said, throwing the piles of tissues away. "i can ensure you ill put them in hell." perhaps a perfect way to use her advanced spell learning, she wouldn't feel bad at all to inflict some sort of harm on anyone who'd do this to someone. What an awful thought.

Reena frowned. "youre not fine. Youre not fine at all. " why did people always lie? It was very clear that this boy was anything but fine. He was a train wreck. And the blood, that was certainly strange. Reena had a sense of deja vu, as if she's read a story with this plot. It was a strange notion, she felt like she knew something but couldn't grasp it. She racked her brain.

Something was off. "did someone hurt you, or is the blood something else?" she eventually asked.

Another boy stumbled into the abandoned toilets, and Bailey glanced up. Another first year, one she had seen around the castle but did not immediately remember.
Bailey asked what was wrong, and if he was ok. The boy sniffled and said that he was fine.
Bailey was starting to make a connection- she had read in a few books that damphires cried blood- and she was starting realized that those were not tears streaming from the boys eyes, but blood.
Bailey also knew that it was rare for human, full normal humans even in the magical world to bleed from their eyes. It took something that her mind was currently blanking on… but her father had told her about what would need to happen for a muggle to bleed from their eyes.
Bailey smiled softly at the boy, her thoughts not changing a thing about her thoughts on the boy.
Bailey did not care if you were human or something else, she would care more if you were a bad person, way more than if you were a damphire.
“Are you sure there isn’t something I can do to help- something I can fetch, cookies or some tea- anything?” Bailey asked, wanting to help.

Lucas continued to hang back, his smile dropping after Bernard had seemingly acknowledged it. As the two girls fussed over him, he glanced over towards the third girl, Duvessa, who seemed to also be hanging back like he was.

After a few minutes he looked back towards Bernard, letting out a small scoff at Reena's words. Perhaps it was what would be expected of a Gryffindor, but Lucas couldn't understand wanting to jump into action or fight someone over somebody you had met, presumably, only a few moments prior. The only thoughts he did share, however, was that this boy was very evidently not okay. "Don't lie." He said bluntly, before adding on. "Doesn't take a genius to figure out that you're very blatantly not okay."

Lucas also felt quite confident in his idea that the bleeding wasn't caused by another person, it didn't seem probable that any kind of fighting would cause somebody to bleed from their eyes, and he couldn't see any cuts or anything. He had his own theories on it from his reading, but he didn't feel confident enough in speaking them, out of fear of being completely off the mark. For the time being, though, he simply continued to watch impassively, waiting to see if Bernard would give some kind of explanation.
