Hunter's fingers jumbled around a bit. Twiddled, occupied, shaking nonetheless. Was he really that afraid of what Beatrice had done? It took him by surprise and he didn't think the girl really had it in her to commit such an act. She had a very... porcelain doll look, if anything an innocent look you would never expect to snap. Well... she did, and Hunter was the one who applied the pressure to do so. He had left his broken burnt satchel back in the boy's dormitory in the Ravenclaw tower. The majority of the plant goods, except the fire seeds, were pretty much burnt to a crisp. A couple of bicorns and murtlap tentacles were gone as well. Even any glass vials containing finished potions inside were done for. He felt deep anger towards the girl for the first time, and he was really unsure of how to deal with it. Even now as he sat in the potions room he could feel a bit of his blood still boiling.
He grabbed a spare Standard Size III Cauldron rather aggressively, but what could also be noted was how fast his eyes were darting. Left, right, up, down. The boy was no longer hiding his paranoia and was on full alert for almost everything and everyone. He had brought a vial of pepper up potion before arriving he (had brewed a previous day) and dumped it within the cauldron. He waited for Beatrice to show up, he was certain she wasn't the type to back off from a deal. Better yet, she most likely wanted to be smug about what had occurred. Hunter was annoyed, off-centered and he clearly wasn't hiding it. The oddest thing though was how quiet he actually was. His actions were loud, but his voice and breathing couldn't be heard. He searched for a jar of octopus tentacles but stopped as he heard the door open. He looked and saw Beatrice, but only gave a look somewhat similar to disappointment. Hunter didn't speak or say a word to the girl, perhaps an immature tantrum response filled him. He eyed her and continued searching and finding what he needed. He headed back to his table and placed one large tentacle into the cauldron. If Beatrice said anything to the boy, it would have been met with silence. He was focused an annoyed, little to nothing was going to break his concentration. He waved his wand as the silence continued of possibly a one-sided conversation.
However, there was the question of why Hunter had even requested the girl to come in the first place. He himself didn't know, but there was an oddity to it all. A sense of... calm. Despite the rage boiling inside him, despite the annoyance Beatrice was, Hunter could feel the sense of calm coming over him. He would never know the reason, but it had a relation to his time at home and Hogwarts. Hunter certainly was used to brewing by himself, but he had always brewed alongside his grandmother and that always felt joyful. Even his time at Hogwarts was most enjoyable when he brewed alongside his distant cousin Vale and a no longer close friend Sophia. Yet, he hadn't done so recently. This was an antidote to the poisoning paranoia that overwhelmed the boy. He needed to brew a potion with someone nearby. It had to be someone he knew, not exactly trust. The potions professor wasn't ideal and either family or people close to his age were. Even if it was Beatrice, Hunter could feel the slight calmness of the remedy working to ease his nerves. He just needed to not feel alone when brewing to help calm himself down.
Words finally escaped from the boy, as he looked at Beatrice: "Your favor, is to help me brew and try this potion." Few words and his voice was cold with a hint of irritation. Before sheating his wand after using it on the cauldron he pointed it at Beatrice: "Mucus ad Nauseam." Roll: [20] +10 = 30
Perhaps it was the cold rage boiling in Hunter, but the spell went off with a greater dark enchantment than usual. For Hexes, Jinxes, or especially curses to work one must have a feeling to cause harm to others. Not once has Hunter ever felt a deep truth of wanting to cause harm to Beatrice till now. The spell didn't hold back, and it landed upon the girl: "This potion is surprisingly the antidote to that curse. Go find a mandrake and cut it into slices. I'll tell you when to add it." Hunter smirked while placing his own earmuffs on as he could already see the mess of snot running on Beatrice's face.

Fear or Anger?
@Hunter Argentum
Her feet felt like leaden bricks. She knew she was trudging towards the Dungeons, more importantly, the potions classroom. She hated this feeling, like she was slowly suffocating. And maybe she was. Her chest hurt, and it was slightly hard to breathe. The guilt and panic over what Hunter would do to her over-rode any other thought in her brain.
She had lost control back in the Common Room, and truthfully she had let her anger and the idea of revenge get the better of her. Her eyes had gone wide as she watched the flames eat away at the bag, and instantly, white hot mortification had enveloped her. She had never did anything like that. And probably never would again. Except maybe at Hunter. Somehow he got under her skin, and irked her to no end.
Trudging her way into the classroom, she saw that Hunter had already set up for some potion. To say he looked mad would be an understatement. He was seething in that quiet way that Bea realised he was truly, truly upset. She grimaced. As she stood in the doorway, she tried and failed to understand what potion he was brewing. Potions prodigy for sure...
She was sure it was a Pepperup potion, but it was missing a few ingredients.
Just as she opened her mouth to say something, anything, he looked up, and spoke. Two sentences. Nothing really. Bea opened her mouth to apologise, the words on the tip of her tongue, but Hunter got there first again. With his wand. It was a blink and you miss it moment. One second she was fine, the next her eyes watered and snot came dribbling from her nose. A most gracious look.
His instructions given, Bea blindly reached out, stumbling from the room. Her eyes were watering from not only the spell, but her own emotions. How stupid could she be to trust Hunter like that? That he wouldn't retaliate? She was stupid. Stupid, stupid stupid.
Finding Professor Regan (actions done with permission) and gaining a mandrake was the easy bit. She had shown sympathy when asked for a mandrake, Bea not quite ready to tell the Professor that it was another student that was the reason why. Taking a deep breathe, she entered the classroom once again, mandrake and earmuffs in hand. Silence followed her and Bea wasn't quite ready to fill it. Putting on her earmuffs, she took the mandrake and knife in hand, like she had been shown in class, and cut it up, the thin slices ending up on the right hand side of her board. She contemplated more than once in her musings if she could just stab Hunter with said knife, maybe through the hand so he couldn't brew anymore potions, but the thoughts went as quick as they had come. Finishing the chopping, she laid her knife down, and turned to Hunter, waiting for the next instruction.

Fear or Anger?
What was Hunter trying to accomplish? What benefit was he really going to get out of this in the end? Normally he'd look at things from a logical standpoint, to find the meaning behind his and others' actions. Yet as of right now, his emotions were in control. Frustrated, afraid, and irate. He was trying his best to control it all but he just couldn't. He could feel the looming shadows of fear of being caught, of being judged, of no longer being considered a prodigy. He lost almost all his ingredients and the majority of his potions.
As Beatrice got back it was obvious the boy was nowhere close to a stable condition. He presumed to have someone close by would calm him, but as he gazed into the sobbing eyes of Beatrice with crewed snot overwhelming her complexion... the boy could only continue shaking. His frustrated frowning grew deeper as he closed his eyes to look away, to escape reality for a moment and attempt to remember the memory of brewing with his grandmother. However, no matter how hard Hunter tried to remind himself of the happy times he had with his grandmother brewing potions together, he would be overwhelmed by the image of Beatrice crying and sobbing. The happy memory had vanished, replaced by a more gloom and depressing one. As Hunter clasped his eyes harder and harder with his cheeks burning red, tears began to form.
Hunter Argentum, the Ravenclaw potion prodigy next in line to continue the Argentum family line was a poison. A poison not to only those around him, but to himself as well. He drove many students away, created enemies, and gained sorrow from it all. His pride, his goals, and his wishes were all in good light. It was his methods, his thought process, and his overwhelming fear of other students and their unpredictability that drove him to such ways. His eyelids slightly cracked open, and he adjusted his head to look at Beatrice once more. Despite the overwhelming tears in his eyes that deflected the light around, he could see the wrong he had committed. Perhaps it was guilt and karma, but Hunter could feel the regret overwhelming him.
Through the tears he looked back at his stopwatch, 7 minutes of simmering had gone by for the cauldron and as such he added the sliced mandrake Beatrice had made. He then then included one wartcap and 2 measures of dried boomslang. He was done, the satisfaction of Beatrice being under a heavy curse was never received and it would never come. This moment was worse than anything Hunter had expected. He needed to rethink himself, to learn more from his parents... and of course his grandmother... his grandmother.
A fear of his own, similar to Beatrice. Fear of loss, something that Hunter was unsure if he could accept, unlike Beatrice. Unlike her, he would never want to forget the memories he had with his grandmother. He truly did believe he did Beatrice a favor. Also, there was the fact that as he told her before, he would create potions to do the impossible. Things that were never done, he knew he could do and he would do it. He didn't care, he'd create potions to heal any sickness, to prevent death, to possibly even revert it. Hunter wanted to do good... but how far was he willing to go. Was this incident with Beatrice, was it a mistake he would never let happen again? Or was it a turning point in his chapter? Either way, this potion he crafted for her sickness was proof he still had a heart and that he was one step closer towards his goal.
He wouldn't know, but instead would wave his wand one last time to complete the potion based on memory. Hunter wiped the tears away and looked at Beatrice. Despite the horrible look she held from the curse, he could note that she was still a cute Ravenclaw who held up her end of the bargain. Hunter sighed, a rather choke-filled sigh that was hard to get off his chest. He hoped the potions Professor hadn't been watching, this whole thing was more of an emotional roller coaster than he expected. His hands still shook, but they were more from emotional exhaustion rather than fear. Hunter took a glass vial and filled it with the potion, placing it by Beatrice. Only a few words escaped the boy's voice as he got up and looked at the girl, to make sure the potion would work for her and in case she had anything else to say. His voice was a bit broken, but polite somewhat: "Sorry, but I will do the impossible with my potions because I can see joy at the end of the tunnel."

Fear or Anger?
Beatrice stood aside as she watched Hunter prepare the rest of the potion. He was adeptly skilled, she grudgingly admitted, as she watched Hunter stir and carefully put ingredient after ingredient into the cauldron. It wasn't that potions or potion making was new to Bea. Hunter and her shared a class every week. It was just she hadn't particurly noticed how good he was. Pity about his attitude though.
Trying and failing to wipe some of the tears and snot from her face, she resorted to glaring at Hunter. Gone was the sadness from before, now replaced by anger. To put a curse on another student, it was unfathomable and a wonder the potions Professor hadn't caught on when Bea had seen her earlier.
Bea wasn't sure if it was her glare or Hunter actually feeling sorry for what he'd done, but he looked to be...crying? Had his spell backfired? Bea was utterly bewildered, never having seen Hunter utter an ounce of upset over his actions before. He always seemed to be cool and calm. Well, before her little fire incident today. How was she supposed to be angry when he was upset over everything. Bea closed her puffy eyes, and she could hear the long sigh escape her. She was tired of this whole thing. She just wanted to go up to dorm and cry. Maybe write a letter or two to her family. She wouldn't forgive Hunter, especially for what he had done today. The score was 2v1, and she needed to make it even. Another sigh escaped her. It was a problem for another day.
When Hunter spoke, his voice slightly echoing in the otherwise silent room with only the cauldron bubbling away, Bea opened her eyes. A glass vial had been placed next to her, full of the potion meant to cure. She went to grab it, but hesitated, a zing of fear at the last time they had been in this position. Would Hunter switch them again? It wasn't amiss of him to do so. But as she looked at him through her puffy eyes, she could see he was remorseful. He sounded broken, curled in on himself and because of that she grabbed the vial, opened it and drank it in one go. She made a face of disgust, her eyes and nose clearing up as she did so. As she opened them, she looked to Hunter, placing the glass vial very carefully back on the bench. "I'm not going to forget this Argentum, no matter how good your skills are." With that said, she picked up her earmuffs and flew out the door.
