Can first years use the marauder's map? A first year friend just bought hers but says it shows grey under her profile (cannot click). Friend in question is Sophia Fan, if needed.

Also if you have the invisibility cloak on the map doesn't work

- The user can't use Invisibility Cloak.
- The preferences must be set to not hiding oneself in the Map.
- It would take 3 full days before the effect takes place.
