Boom, baby!
Was Cynthia glad that Professor Zahid had left Hogwarts? Not. At. All. Professor Caradoc Browne, or Doc (even though he was no doctor), as he insisted to be called, had made a more than grand entrance. The doors boomed open and Cynthia had a extremely good look at his grin, which seemed to be permanently sticked onto his face. Dancing in HoM? Very novel, but very creepy. Cynthia sighed inwardly as she heard that this perhaps a bit crazy professor was assigned to her house. Could anything ever get worse?
Prefect McGarry was the first to react, immediately welcoming the professor to his ‘proper’ house. Of course, it did not seem proper to Cynthia. Curiosity loomed over her, and she wanted to know more about Professor Browne. As Rita Su, one of the students Cynthia knew, worked over to Doc and started to talk to him, Doc started to madly give out points. This was no fair! She watched as each student in the small hall walked up to Doc, including her friend, Bailey Glade. Kim Aoki described his class as an adventure. Well, it would sure be one, perhaps, even an extremely dangerous and over the top crazy and groovy one.
Her gaze drifted towards the new COMC professor, a elective class, which only began in Cynthia’s third year. Professor Blumenthal, was it not? She had a strong Brooklyn accent. She was definitely better than Doc, who didn’t even act like a professor. No offense, but he acted like a clown. Then, Professor McLoughlin appeared. She commented on Doc’s dramatic entrance, and Cynthia agreed inwardly.
Cynthia glanced at the floor, and only then realised that she had dropped her book in surprise when the professor bursted through the door. She flicked her wand, ‘Wingardium Leviosa,’ and tucked the book under her arm. She strode casually towards the professor. ‘Hello Professor Browne; we have not met before. Welcome back to Hogwarts, I suppose.’

Bailey smiled watching Loops and Colin interact, it was good to see Colin happy, and surrounded by good friends.
rebecca seemed to recover from the teasing as Bailey teased colin a bit, thought it was all in good fun. She knew how much Colin liked Clair, and was pretty positive Clair was also smitten with her friend.
Loops joined bailey in the teasing of coco, and just to be fair, she decided to tease him a bit as well.
Do you have a special someone hidden away? I haven’t heard anything.. but it’s possible not all of the gossip has made it into the ears of the listening birbs.” she said, and then laughed when loops shrugged and smiled crookedly at her.
"haha we are always up for a bit of discussion about what's going on, we are not all totally focused on books and studying. though school comes first, then tea"
Bailey laughed again when Rebecca asked who would be there to tease colin if he, Loops, was loony over someone.
Bailey smiled and said "i do think i can tease coco enough for the both of us!"
She waived as Loops left, and then she asked colin "How have you been? i feel like we haven't gotten to hang out much - we should eat lunch together sometime, have a picnic!"
for the moment, Bailey was letting Kim be. Once she was done with her conversation with Coco, bailey would say her goodbyes to the professors, and tell Kim where she was going, and then Bailey would head to bed, to make sure all of her homework was completed before settling into bed with cookies and some tea or hot chocolate.

Boom, baby!

The students of Hogwarts sure were lively, to say the least. They seemed to swarm the Small Hall in droves, babbling over one another and practically climbing the heads of their fellow students to speak to the shiny new professors. Well, shiny new professor. Caradoc wasn't quite new, rather just returning, and students seemed all geared up to give him a word or two. "Ooh, popular, aren't you?" Sabine raised her brows and nudged the taller man with her elbow, watching the students give their input and welcome. Of course, the arrival of another adult was always welcome. Sabine stepped a bit closer to Nancy, offering a tentative smile. "It's chaos over here. It's nice to meet you."january 2023.
The woman introduced herself to Caradoc, and Sabine nodded slowly. Herbology. Certainly a fascinating subject, if she did say so herself: Sabine was particularly interested in just about every study of life that one could think of. Obviously plants weren't as intriguing to her as creatures were, absolutely not, but that didn't mean there couldn't be a little crossover from time to time.
"My name's Sabine Blumenthal. Care of Magical Creatures."
She quite liked introducing herself, she thought. It felt formal and new. With little teaching experience beyond her interns in the magizoology field, this was all a new experience.
And, because Hogwarts knew no end to the entering and exiting conversations quicker than Sabine could handle, a new student wandered into the fray. Curiously, she seemed less than pleased with Caradoc's entrance, a start contrast to the reactions and attitudes of the other assembled students.@Caradoc Browne, @Bubba McGarry, @Rita Su, @Kim Sato, @Bailey Glade, @Cynthia Beaufort, @Nancy McLoughlin.
"I’m Bean."

@Caradoc Browne
Late to the party she was but hell, she wasn't going to miss it.
Opeila had been walking through a nearby corridor, when she heard a loud sort of bang, coming from the small hall. Soon students seemed to swarm the place, making it difficult for the Slytherin to see what was happening at first. Well... When an only too familiar voice echoed through the room it was no longer a question.
The smile appeared on Opeila's face without her even noticing it as she pushed her way through the small crowd to see if her ears truly didn't betray her, but there he was. Caradoc Browne, the former Head of house Hufflepuff. The always dancing man, who had asked her to be a second set of eyes and ears for him when she came to him to tell him about what she had done in her first year. He was truly here again.
Apart from that, she had not interacted with the man too often, but hell, she had been so sad when he left, it had surprised herself. Her happiness about his return was surprisingly strong in the same confusing way. "Professor Browne! Welcome back!", she called out with a grin almost as wide as his.
