Information Reducio This is a club to discuss our love of nature and engage in fun outdoors activities. We meet once a month. Roles will change every time there is a meeting and be given randomly. At the start of the meeting your roles will be given in the first post of the thread. If you join late, please put a notice at the end of your post that you do not have a role yet and I will give you one. At the end of the year, a collage of your work will be given to you as a nice memento of having been part of the club for a full year. Activities Reducio At the start of each meeting your role will be given to you randomly. You should post at least 3 times in the meeting but you can do more if you wish. First post should be an entrance post. Second post should be carrying out your role. Third post should be your ending post which is eating at the picnic and leaving the area. You can post more before the ending post if you wish but it is not required. The following is more information on each of the roles that will be randomly assigned to members at the start of each meeting. • Writer: You are given a notebook and told to write a short paragraph about something relating to nature. It doesn't matter what it is. • Poet: You are given a notebook and told to write a short poem about something relating to nature. It doesn't matter what it is. • Painter: You are given a blank panel or board and told to paint something relating to nature. It doesn't matter what it is. Please provide a pic. • Sketcher: You are given a sketchbook and told to sketch something relating to nature. Please provide a picture of your creation. • Pressed Flowers/Leaves: You are given a small container, a heavy book and two pieces of parchment paper. You are told to collect different types of flowers and leaves that strike your interest. Once you gather enough flowers and leaves, place a piece of parchment paper inside the middle of the book. Place the flowers and leaves you've collected on the paper and place the other parchment paper on top of them. Close the book and hand it over to Kim. He will keep it safe for you and add them to your collage at the end of the year. Please provide a picture of your creation if possible and if not, define what leaves and flowers you chose to make it easier to search for them. • Picture-Taker: You are given a wizard camera by Kim and told to take pictures of anything in nature that you think it pretty or that you like looking at. Please provide a picture or pictures of whatever you took pictures of. • Crafter: You are given a piece of spellotape which is long enough to wrap around your wrist. Wrap your wrist with the sticky side facing out and then collect natural materials, such as leaves, flowers, berries, seeds, twigs, grass, acorns, bark, or feathers and stick it to the tape. It can be anything you can find out in nature. Use your imagination and go wild with this! Please provide an image for your bracelet somewhere in your post.
