The cold breeze blew past Adya, sending instant shivers throughout her body as her tired legs stepped into the astronomy tower. Somewhere she shouldn't be at, this time. But she was bored tho she had many things to do, none of it interested her at the moment.

The young girl tried to walk off her boredom but her walking through the castle ended with her steps up into the astronomy tower but boredom seemed to have no end. Adya didn't sit anywhere nor did she move further in, she had to be cautious and not get caught by the professor, enjoying the air. Although not sure how it would help.

The girl leaned back on the wall right beside the door with her head lolled back. Her eyes savouring the multihued evening sky of purple pink orange. It was until the first few minutes, the fresh air relaxed her. But as the minutes passed by, her lost boredom returned back. It missed her it seems.

The face that was relaxed a moment ago, scrunched back. Adya reached for the door to leave the place. That is when her ears caught the faint sound of footsteps approaching, probably to the astronomy tower Permission granted by the writer. Her eyes took a quick glimpse to know that it wasn't a professor.

Pacing in as fast as she could without making any noise, Adya dipped her head inside her bag to find something. Just something that her hand could grab for. Torn pieces of parchment, smiley stickers, orange peels and a lot of random things that have no purpose currently were brushed by her fingers.

And there it was! A container filled with a mixture of red ink and glue. Being a muggle-born and having friends from there comes in handy. Why does she feel like Dora now? She rushed away from the door and applied it on her neck roughly and spattered the rest on the floor as fast as she could.

Finally, she could do it! Honestly it doesn't look like blood. How the hell did she fall for this that day? All this aside, no eyes would be keen enough to notice it clearly. That's what she hoped for. Throwing the container into her bag, and the bag away from her, the girl lay on her back. Unmoving, her neck arched to the side, displaying the painted side, waiting for... Whoever it is. Hopefully, her eyes didn't lie and it isn't a professor.

It was too late for Lucas to be wandering the halls, but despite his efforts, he just had far too much energy to settle down. Fancying himself as a very stealthy individual, he'd decided to just go for a walk, surely he'd be able to avoid any roaming teachers if he just paid attention? And just as he wished, he actually managed to wander around unbothered, eventually finding himself at the base of the astronomy tower.

Lucas wasn't much of an astronomer, really not understanding why they had to study it at all, but it was a nice tower, he had to admit that much. Maybe looking out at the stars would tire him out, or something, but he felt an urge to make his way up the tower, and who was he to not listen to his instincts? He was in no rush to make his way up the tower, nor was he particularly quiet in doing so, the sounds of his steps echoing both up and down the tower as he climbed up and up.

Upon reaching the top, he glanced around the tower with a small frown, his gaze eventually settling on the girl lying on her back with some kind of red liquid around her neck and the floor surrounding her body. His eyes narrowed slightly, squinting to try and work out what the liquid was in the dark. It certainly wasn't blood, the texture was wrong, but he couldn't work out what else it really could be.

"What's that on your neck?"" He asked, making no effort to sneak around anymore, his voice loud enough for anyone in the tower t hear. After a moment, he made his way over slowly, crouching down somewhat close to her body, tracing his finger through the liquid on the floor. Somewhat sticky, glue perhaps? He thought to himself, which didn't really explain the red tinge it had, but it had distracted him enough for him to momentarily forget about Adya lying there on the floor.

Why out of all the places and any time of the day did she choose this place at this time? What made her brain work this way? Her cheek that was pressed against the floor started turning numb with how icy it felt to her bare skin. For Just a few minutes. Then she doesn't have to deal with it.

The boy or girl, whoever it was, would reach the astronomy tower just in time before the glue would start to dry. That's what she hoped for. The faint footsteps started getting louder with each second and her eye squinted open just a little to find out a boy at the entrance of the tower.

What? Did he just ask that out loud? To a dead girl? Uhm- a 'pretending to be dead' girl? Adya was wavering between considering him dumb and smart. Thankfully he came near her. But... what? Adya hoped he'd check if she had any pulse or if she was breathing or something. The girl didn't expect find him analyzing the fake blood when her eyelid parted open a little.

When the boy was busy studying the liquid with 'not so blood' consistency, the girl pushed herself off the floor quick enough that he wouldn't notice her moving and grabbed a handful of his shirt collar. With a roar, her lips parted widely, her teeth showing, that neared his neck in an 'attempt to bite' like move in a flash.

Strange was all that Lucas thought as he rubbed the fake blood between his fingers, seemingly entranced with it. However, a sudden movement from the supposedly dead girl roused him from his momentary fixation. All he heard was a roar, and saw some teeth closing in on him. Lucas, in a mix of naivety and a somewhat fearful gut reaction, made the only logical assessment. Vampires were attacking, and he was about to perish.

It was partially in thanks to this rather stupid assessment, that the boys flight or fight instincts began to kick in, and he turned to face her in a surprising show of speed, both hands darting out to push her away. It wasn't a hard push by any means, but it made just enough distance for Lucas to begin scooting back safely. If Adya had a keen eye, she'd notice that his left hand had balled into a fist, while he right seemed to be patting around in his robes for his wand.

The distance did actually give him a moment to think, and actually apply logic to the situation, and as he did so, his breathing quickly slowed back down to a relatively normal pace and his hand relaxed. "About scared me to death." He muttered in an uncharacteristically serious tone. He'd see the humour in it later, probably in a literal few moments, but for the moment he seemed to almost be sulking, it wasn't common that he found himself on this side a joke, and it certainly was a different feeling.

just to reiterate for anyone who wants to check, perms for the push to go ahead without any rolling (not actually sure what rolls would of been needed, so figured this was an easier way to go about it) were given https://gyazo.com/d635c2c7d7cb6d493ae6ea221012df2c

"Ouch!" Adya tipped over as he pushed, her coloured palms landing on the sticky floor for balance. After noticing him studying the blood, the Slytherin grew doubtful that his reaction wouldn't reach her expectations. But no, it was worth it! Her efforts didn't go in vain. The boy then scooted back, patting his robes for whatever reason, probably for his wand.

Adya couldn't say a word. Her body began shaking with laughter at the sight of his edgy movements. "Oh my" her fingers grazing her stomach which strained from guffawing so hard. Her cheeks tinted with a little red.

"Chill cutie- Look, I am defenceless" as she raised both her hands up. The words came out indistinct as her voice quivered with the unstoppable laugh. Not sure if the boy puzzled out the muddled words of her. Within a few milliseconds, with all her effort, her shoulders relaxed and she cleared her throat.

Seemingly her cachinnation halted just to return back. Only harder this time. The serious tone of his that was aimed at her didn't intimidate the young girl but simply amused her. "I suppose I am not the only dumb one here" as her head swung back. She sounded drunk to herself.

The sticky glue started to dry and formed a coloured layer on her skin. The mixture covered her neck and few spots on her face, and some strands of hair. The floor and her white shirt strained in red. Finally Adya pushed herself off the floor and gazed at the mess she made. Her head whirled, "Oh my god!". How is she going to clear it all?!
