Your RPG storyline idea : When Vera get to the Ravenclaw common room, she is going to need someone she can connect with. I'm thinking that since Vera loves to read books, maybe they connect on that as well as her intentions to become a Magizoologist.
Additional info : This meeting would be in the Ravenclaw common room or otherwise on the way there after the feast in the Great Hall.
