Bailey closed her book, and put Twinkle on the floor. It was a Sunday, so no classes, and Bailey had devoted the day to studying. Now it was almost dinner time, and Bailey was feeling social.
maybe I can eat with Kim… Coco is probably going to be with Clair, or the Snek Squad- I’m so happy he has his friends, they’re so lucky to have him
Bailey smiled as she pulled her shoes on, thinking of how lucky she was to have met Colin and Kim.
I dunno how I’d be able to be … able to be who I am now, without Kim, he really helped me. More than he knows, more than he knows
Putting her journal and a book to read in her bag alongside her wand, water bottle, and some miscellaneous things, Bailey stood up and left the dorm. Exiting the Ravenclaw common room, Bailey smiled as she walked down the corridors to dinner.
Entering the small hall, Bailey spotted an unfamiliar face, or head. Deciding that she wanted to be friend, Bailey approached the first year and tapped him on the shoulder. If he turned Bailey would smile, and say “Hello! I didn’t recognize you, so I wanted to introduce myself!”
Sticking her hands in her pockets, Bailey would continue “My name is Bailey-Bailey Glade!”
Then she would stick one hand out, her right hand, for the boy to shake if he so chose.
She continued with her introduction, saying “I’m a third year Ravenclaw, President or co/Vice President of a majority of clubs! And you are?”

When Ashley made his debut, he had a lengthy and physically exhausting day. He had already seen a lot of people, which gave him the creeps, but he kept telling himself not to worry. Sundays were not his best day of the week as there were no activity to partake in.

Ashley had a deep interest for learning and reading, which is why one of the boys he met referred to him as a nerd or bookworm—or something similar. Despite the fact that he detested the aforementioned labels, Ashley was too motivated to do tasks, assignments and everything. For someone his age it was shocking since most of his peers seem lazy. Before making his Hogwarts debut, he made sure to finish reading fantasy books, and once he is in the mindset to read, nobody should ever attempt to disturb him and should they do so he would snap.

He was eager to start with classes, in which are starting soon. He was in the mood to go into every subject covered in his textbooks. He looked forward to his homework, assignments, and possibly the discussions he would have with other first-year students about particular concepts. He did not want to reveal to others that he was somewhat anticipating what Hogwarts had in store for him, therefore all of this was kept inside.
His expression had not changed, and his citrusy attitude was evident everywhere.
He was still completely worn out by conversations, and smiling was one of the hardest things he had ever had to do.

Ashley sat in the small hall and observed the students doing their monotonous talking and laughing. All of that caused the youngster to isolate himself, which he found to be time-consuming and stressful. Although, hopefully, his time at Hogwarts will have made him accustomed to his surroundings.

Everything was different from other days, when he would be found lost in meditation, contemplating life, blah blah. He might have been feeling at ease with his stay at Hogwarts.

He was approached by a stunning girl who introduced herself to him. He was shocked that someone would approach him, but then he recalled how a guy he met in the abandoned restrooms had the audacity to push him up against the wall and induce feelings of romance. Nevertheless, it made no difference at all.

Ashley was reluctant to speak when the girl said her name, but his response came  " Ashley Montez. first year, same residence as you" He was still a youngster with few words and, as usual, gave bland responses, giving the impression that he might not be interested in the conversation, which he was not in that instance. He just shook her hand and said nothing further more. He just glared at the girl with a dull facial expression, little did others know that this was kind of natural.

bailey saw an unfamiliar face - so of course she was going to introduce herself!!! Bailey walked over to the boy, introducing herself. only then did she have the thought that he may have wanted to be left alone. Bailey thought sheepishily whoops.... i can always leave him alone if he wants, but i can't just walk away now, can i?
He was sitting, and so bailey made the decision to sit next to him. He had introduced himself, and now his face was resting in an almost glare.
Bailey smiled, and sat on the bench. "how are you liking Hogwarts? And Ravenclaw? Who are your dormmates? are they nice?" bailey asked, peppering the boy with questions.
Looking sideways at him, bailey had a few thoughts and observations. Ashley seems like the sort of person to sit in silence all day... a quiet sort of person she thought. it did seem true, as did her random thought about his appearance. his eyes, they seem to have dark circles around them. his hair is nicely groomed; he does give the impression of the person to care for himself
Bailey pulled the book she had brought out of her bag, and opened it. Starting to read, bailey was waiting for the Great Hall to open for dinner, or for Ashley to speak.

Ashley was taken aback by how many questions the girl had for him, and at the time, all he could manage was a smirk as he observed Bailey.

He laughed, "Slow down, Princess!"
"Miss Bailey, I am doing good. I am enjoying Hogwarts just fine, and in Ravenclaw, I have not met many people—although they seem intriguing, I desire to chat to them soon. Lastly, my roommate is a young man named Edward, who seems to be a book worm like me."

Ashley felt flat and was speechless afterward; He suppose Bailey's interrogation had used up all of his vitality. After then, there was an unpleasant pause that seemed to be engulfing the two individuals. The first thing that crossed his mind as he saw Bailey pull a book out of her bag and begin reading was, "Are all students in Ravenclaw nerds or bookworms?"
It doesn't surprise him, but it seems like his new family was a group of intellectual or knowledge hunters. Being with people of his kind, however, feels nice.
He made the decision to speak, and he looked at the young woman.
"bookworm?"

He wasn't sure if he had asked the girl, who appeared to be hyper from his perspective, the obvious question.

The boy, Ashley, seemed slightly taken aback from her avalanche of questions. Bailey figured this was only right, she had just piled questions on the poor boy without pause.
Luckily he laughed, jokingly telling her to slow down. Bailey smiled and laughed with him.
“I’m glad you’ve found people you like!! Haha I’m a social person but I haven’t always been that way, a fact that isn’t always obvious!”
Ashley had answered baileys question, and the silence was companionable- or at least for Bailey it was. She pulled out a book to start reading, and smiled a little realizing that he probably was thinking that she was secretly a bookworm.
This was proven to be true when Ashley said one word, bookworm, posed as a question.
She smiled and looked up, sticking a bookmark into her book and closed the book softly.
“Haha yes! Have been my entire life, and will continue to be forever. I’ve had a few good friends who helped me get out of my shell, and now I’m more social. Honestly really social, though I do love curling up at the end of a long day in my dorm with a good book, my cat twinkle and a cup of tea or hot chocolate, or a sweet treat!”

“I’m glad you’ve found people you like!! Haha I’m a social person but I haven’t always been that way, a fact that isn’t always obvious!”
Ashley smiled elegantly as the other girl said these remarks."Well, Bailey, it's a big school with lots of different characters. I may not yet have a strong personality, but I'll get there." Ashley spoke openly. Even though he was frequently chilly, Bailey Glade appeared like a decent individual. He's made a negative impact thus far, and he's happy that there is one or two bird(s) with whom they sort of "Get along."

Although it was too soon to say whether the two people would become friends, Ashley was prepared to give it a shot. He wasn't overly sociable; in fact, Bailey was too social for him; nevertheless, as can be shown, he does have his own circle of close friends.

The young woman responded by saying, “Haha yes!

"Holy Merlin! How do you manage being so sociable when I hardly ever chat and don't particularly enjoy initiating up conversations? Really, I find it exhausting. When I attempt, I feel like I overdo it and almost certainly have anxiety immediately. I don't mind my cocoon the way it is, so no thanks. I don't want a pet, but what you enjoy doing sounds lovely, and I enjoy hot chocolate "Ashley answered. He didn't sound unkind or even remotely like it. He seemed a little receptive.

Bailey smiled at the younger boy, glad their conversation was flowing so easily. "it is a big school - and you're right, there are SO many different characters."
Ashley seemed like a sweet boy, and Bailey was glad they were getting along. She always was sad when someone seemed to not like her, not that that happened much. just sienna... bailey thought with an internal sign.
Bailey chatted on, loving the chance to talk, and loving that she felt heard. Some people she could ramble on to forever, and they would either listen or zone out - @Kim Sato had been like this lately, he had seemed so OUT of it, bailey couldn't help but worry that she had done something wrong.
She smiled and laughed at Ashley's reaction to her statement about being super sociable.
"i do think i stored up all of my social energy cause i don't think i went out any in my first year, and very little last year. So now, i am letting it all out!!!! I do think that in a few years time i will become less social, spend some more time with by best friend Kim, and he and i will just hang out more. I am glad you like hot chocolate, is there something you like adding to it?"

The boy found the atmosphere to be lot easier with Bailey around. Due to the presence of people like Bailey, the small Auditorium seemed to be brimming with vitality. In fact, the third-year student was extremely courteous and gregarious, but the boy didn't know much about her too. The youngster found it difficult to be spontaneous, which was the energy Bailey seemed to have all around "it is a big school - and you're right, there are SO many different characters."
You, Bailey, appear to be in a whole mood, as the muggles may say, and it shows! The young man chuckled.

"I'm curious whether or not my first year will turn out to be a fortuitous one, you know? Everything is just so colossal and rather intimidating at first glance. I've seen the professors, and I find them to be extremely intriguing. The youngster did find the professors to be fascinating and thought of them as successful wizards and witches. What inspiration the boy would derive from them, though, was a mystery. Soon classes would start, and he would meet pupils with various personalities, and so forth He was undoubtedly not yet eager to be exposed to that aspect, but Hogwarts was a transformative experience for him, and even while he was aware that he would eventually grapple with the unknowns, he would unquestionably acclimatise it.
