2022, Stage 1 Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff, Match 1

Even to his dying breath, he felt he had said nothing wrong. Only that he had forgotten another crucial part to his cocky speech just earlier. He certainly has gotten serious, for once in this duel. But he had forgotten that is when it comes to survival, it was equally important to ask the Hufflepuffs to go easy on him. He knew very well it was his ego that withheld him from asking that earlier. But would one more wink could’ve saved him from blacking out? NoooooooOooOoOooo but it helped his conscious just a bit to know that if he did, the Hufflepuffs would’ve drowned in his adorable brown eyes and completely missed their shot again. It is his firm belief, that he- Hanako Tone - will not go down without being delusional. Therefore until he wakes up again, he will stick to the story he wants to stick to. Bitterly. For he was a big sore loser.

Lindsey Springhall and Autumn Ivy was it? Names were easier to remember when you had a powerful emotion linked to the memory of that name. What emotion Hana had for the two Hufflepuffs, they would need to find out themselves. One thing he can be certain of is that he will be dearly missed by the Hufflepuffs. Obviously.

At the very least, the smoke he conjured would cover him just a bit as he was taken to the infirmary. At least that bit of his pride was saved. Imagine dying and having a lot of people see it in 4k resolution. No thanks, not today.

Action: Dead but had fun

Her lips twitched hearing the Slytherin boy’s gibberish, and a simple “See y’a.” would be her reply to all those words Hanako managed to blow at them, something making her head ache even severer. Following this was a Flipendo at full brawl, raging towards her opponent. And so…there went Hanako. One of their opponents. Eliminated.

The world finally went quiet. Yay.

This was really a milestone in her duelling career, the very first time she had knocked an opponent out. The smoke Hanako conjured before fainting was indeed annoying, but Lindsey knew that she could manage that. So, were they…close to victory? Without considering much she glanced at her teammate, the dearest Miss Autumn Ivy, and simply hoped she wouldn’t cause a thing this time - there was still an opponent standing on the stage. If Autumn dared to let the coming victory slip away from their fingers, Lindsey really didn’t know if she’d throw a Knockback Jinx at her.

What was a streak for if not breaking? What were her expectations for if not failing? Still, Autumn had the unique position of not having to consider the extent of her uselessness, because Hanako was down, and no amount of magical smoke (Merlin, her detestment of the Fumos spell was unrivalled) or personal misery could undo that. They could actually win, and she was, for once, not going to let her own self hatred get in the way.

Forget any bickering or rivalry or general annoyances; if she and Sprjnghall actually won this, Autumn would treat them both to a butterbeer. Ideally, at different tables where they would not have to speak to each other, or see each other, or general acknowledge each other in any form.

Slytherin has Forfeited, Hufflepuff is Victorious!

The duel had come to a somewhat unexpected and untimely end. The Slytherins must have been too tired to continue after one of their teammates went down. Although one couldn't know whether or not the tables could have turned. But either way, a conclusion had been reached.
