my class took a field trip to greenfield village, and yknow everyone was excited, my mom even helped me decorate a little bag for lunch and snacks and i got a new old-fashioned type dress with a bonnet. i loved it, it was a really fun time! after our little trip in the schoolhouse, my teacher assigned each of us a middle school buddy to walk with. i didnt have one so she just assigned me another 2nd grade girl, which was really irresponsible but ok so i kinda just walked around with this girl, my mom gave me like 15 bucks so we got some penny candies, went to the swings and played, and just overall looked at the village! well my teacher said to be back at the school bus at 2:30 PM. Reasonable timing, except... SHE CHANGED IT. The thing is, most of the middle schoolers had phones, so she just contacted them and told them. But then me and the other girl, "Jenna", didn't know. So me and Jenna are still playing when my teacher comes up, looking at us like we just ruined christmas or sumn iderk and grabs us by our wrists TIGHTLY and drags us back to the bus. The entire ride back to school she's screaming at us for not being back at the time, and some of the middle schoolers and chaperones were even coming to our defense and telling her we couldnt have known since neither of us had a phone or a middle school buddy. anyways the teacher got fired
