Happy Holidays!
Date: 12/10/22
───────────────────────────────────Stepping back through the doors of the Great Hall presented a scene entirely different from dinner earlier this evening. Avery couldn't hold back the quiet exclamation of wonder that slips free as she takes in the sight before her. Her eyes dance from one station to another, examining the various setups they had scattered about. Wow, they really had covered all of their bases. She found she was decidedly impressed by it all.
Clocking the various students already scattered about the Hall, Avery takes a couple more steps in so she's not stood in the middle of the entrance in case anyone else shows up. She already knew she'd been running a little late as it were, caught up in trying to finish the last piece of the potions homework she'd finally stopped procrastinating on. The first year was just thankful she'd realized the time and made it down before everything wrapped up.
Keeping the table of snacks in mind for later as she looked from table to table, she finds herself briefly stumped with a measure of indecisiveness. Her gaze flicks between the Gryffindor table and the Hufflepuff table, eyeing the crafts on both. Had her family been here, she knew she wouldn't have given it much thought. She'd simply go with the default choice she'd grown up with all these years. Nativity sets and angels were just commonplace at this point.
But then came the realization she didn't have to set up at that particular table. For once, there were options she didn't get back home. Ones she figured she may make perfectly good use of while the opportunity presented itself. Though she'd grown up in a fairly religious household, she'd never found her own personal attachment to any of it. Though, she couldn't quite say her father's attitude the past however many months was something of a catalyst of its own.
With a sort of nervous buzzing in her chest that she couldn't quite explain, Avery finally moved forward towards the familiar table of Hufflepuff. Doling out small smiles as means of greeting any familiar faces, the first year seats herself close to the station offering the means to build adorable little snowmen. A smile breaks free as she gathers up some of the puffballs. Maybe she could throw together her family in snowman form. It'd be a nice little decoration for her dorm room heading into break if nothing else.
Figuring she may as well start with the easy part, Avery begins the process of arranging and sticking the various sizes of cotton balls together until she has five little figures before her. She had her parents set up with three puffballs, whereas she and her sibling are differentiated with only two each. A brief moment is spent making sure everything is secured and lined up, only turning towards the supplies for details once she was satisfied on that front.
Moving on to the smaller black puffballs, Avery bites her lip and squints slightly as she meticulously places them across the little figures. They're tiny enough that she finds herself continuously dropping them when her concentration momentarily lapses. It takes longer than she'd ever like to admit, but the little snow family finally has eyes and smiling mouths. Well, most of them. Her father's seems more apathetic than anything, and she made the artistic decision to give her sister a little frowny face with googly eyes. It was deserved, she was going through a phase right now.
Turning her sights to the adorable tiny clothing options, the Hufflepuff notices the tiny sticks off in their own pile. Right. Arms would probably be important. Hastily adding them, she decides to ignore the couple that sit a little askew. It's art, eye of the beholder and all that. Pausing a moment to eye the lot, she grabs one of the smaller figures and decides she may as well work on her own first.
Gathering a few pieces of paper and a pair of scissors in case they're needed, she quickly adds a little yellow beanie and scarf combo. Using a marker, she draws in a couple of black stripes on the scarf. Gotta represent even in snowman form. She thinks about it a moment before grabbing a few of the sticks and fashioning a tiny little broom she attaches to one hand.
Satisfied, she moves on to her sister. The little frowny snowman cuts an intimidating figure no doubt. Cutting out a little sweater of the pinkest paper she could find, she adds some hearts and affixes it to the front of the snowman. Her sister was not going to be allowed to see this. She moves on to the final of the three small snowmen once her sister's is appropriately dolled up with as much pink as she could manage. Her brother is spared and given a nice light blue beanie with matching mittens and a scarf.
Avery turns her attention to the last two, immediately grabbing the one for her mother first. Saving the worst for last. Her mother is adorned with a cute little lilac cutout sweater with a non-ironic heart drawn in the middle and matching mittens. Setting the snowman aside, the first year finally looks to the last of the family. She simply stares at it a moment, hesitating in her indecisiveness. She eventually decides on a simple dark green hat and nothing else. The apathetic snowman face almost manages to radiate that familiar displeasure.
Satisfied with her little haul, Avery carefully gathers up her tiny snowman family. She's eager to set them up beside her hammock back in the dorm, a little reminder for the days ahead of the break just on the horizon. The first year does make a point of making a pitstop at the snack table that'd been set up. It'd be a shame for it to go to waste after all. Sufficiently loaded up with tiny snowmen and a couple delicious looking cookies that would no doubt result in a sugar rush, she makes her retreat. But not before she offers an enthusiastic farewell and word of thanks to the coordinators for the night's events.────────────────────────────────

After dinner, Edward noticed how his Professor of Astronomy and a prefect - judging from the badge with a 'P' on her cloak – started to transform the Great Hall. Another errand to complete, he thought excitedly. The other ones had been quite fun and provided a few treats. Curious what would be the task this time, Edward decided to stay in the Great Hall instead of heading for the library again.
The ravenclaw table, where he had just been sitting, was covered with a multitude of craft supplies. Oh, it's about making stuff again, he thought slightly disappointed. He was not the best crafter and rather inept with these things, so he decided to look around first.
He spotted some snacks at the Gryffindor table and headed towards them. Even though they just had dinner, some Christmas cookies were always fitting into his stomach. And what a selection there was! There were a myriad of different cookies, even some he wasn’t very familiar with. He tried a Florentine and something that looked like an icecream cone. He was wondering what the connection to Christmas was for that one but they both tasted very well! He took another cookie filled with jam – Mh raspberry – and continued to walk down the Gryffindor table to read the poster about Christmas. Of course, he already knew the Christmas celebrations as he was celebrating that with his parents every year. His mother was a Christian and especially after learning about magic, the thought of resurrection became even stronger in her opinion and of course, she had taught Edward as well. His father was rather unreligious but respected his wife’s belief and traditions and enjoyed the family time with them.
Edward was aware of some other students, who avidly were already making a tree topper or painting a nativity scene, but he wasn’t in the mood for interactions that day. He was very curious to also explore the other tables but thought of his mother and how she would surely be very happy to get an angel tree topper made by him. He grabbed a few materials: a piece of white foam, a pencil and scissors and started drawing the angel onto the foam. It looked a bit clunky but with a bit of imagination, one could identify it as an angel. He cut it out and it became even more clunky. He tried to improve it by cutting away a bit more but somehow it only got worse, so he stopped and glued his mishapened angel onto the cone. Not my best work but oh well. Mom will like it anyways, he thought and placed the materials back where they belonged and tucked the angel into the bag he was carrying everywhere to always have some books to read.
Still curious about the other tables, he continued to walk across the hall. At the Hufflepuff table, there was a poster about not celebrating anything or having just a non-religious celebration. It was just about winter and snow as well as the Christmas tree and Santa Claus. One could make a snowflake of colourful paper or a puffball snowman. He stopped at the coloured paper. He remembered how his mother used to make these in the wintertime when he was little. She had always encouraged him to join her making them and he had been enjoying making them because no matter what he did with the scissors, the snowflake would always look great. It was a fool proof craft thing. As he remembered this, he decided to try this as well, hoping it would look better than his angel tree topper. Instead of colorful snowflakes, he preferred to make a white one. He thought it was more realistic that way. He folded his sheet of paper and just made some triangular cuts, some a bit wavy, some straight. Upon unfolding, he did get a pretty snowflake. Finally, something that worked. He made a few more and put them in his bag as well.
On the other side of the Hufflepuff table, he saw a poster about Hanukkah. Mhh, that’s something I don’t know much about. Only that it’s celebrated by jewish people. He read the poster with great interest. Learning something new always made him happy. He learned about the Hanukkah menorah and how it was lit and he learned about the dreidel. Both could be built as activity at this table but it was getting late and Edward wanted to take a look at the other tables as well, so he continued his stroll.
At the Slytherin table he learned about Kwanzaa. He had never heard of this celebration before. He read that it was about African heritage. Here there was again a candleholder, which was important. This time containing seven instead of the nine candles of a Hanukkah menorah. Each candle was connected to a principle. Corresponding to the unity principle, the students could prepare a unity cup to think of their ancestors. Edward had only met one of his grandmothers. The parents of his mother had died before his birth, so had the father of his father. So Edward remembered his grandma. He had been there as a kid, but she also died when he was only seven years old. She had prepared the best Christmas cookies.
He went on to read the second poster that was placed at the other half of the Slytherin poster. It described the Yule traditions. He learned that it had been the celebration of the winter solstice and the returning sun and he got excited as he read that it was celebrated especially by wizards. He saw the yule log cakes and decided to make one last ‘craft’, and made two for his parents with mini sugar mushrooms and holly on top of the icing as well as one for himself with a lot of icing and nothing else. He placed them in two boxes and decided to send the cakes to his parents via owl the next day, so they would not turn bad.
He saw the professor at this table and before leaving for the dorms, he went over and thanked her for the activity and all the delicious sweets. “Good night, Professor Horne”, he said and left the hall, loaded with his yule log cakes and some more cookies he snuck from the snack table as he walked past it.

Happy Holidays!
Kim seemed aspirated when he exited the Griffindor common room, and Bailey's smiled drooped a bit, worried she had already done something wrong. "is everything ok? Is this a bad time?" she asked, shrinking in on herself a little. She regained her excitement when Kim asked where they were going to on this occasions. She explained about the errand, and once they arrive, she left Kim a little abruptly, letting go of his hand in shock and amazement. after telling him that she'd come find him, or he could come find her when they finished, she wandered off to go figure out what she was going to do.
When she was finished with her projects, she tucked the ornament into her bag. She kept the angle that resembled Kim out, grinning as she thought of giving it to Kim now. how long will it take him to realize that it looks like him.. she wondered mischievously.
Wandering around, Bailey started her search for Kim. She spotted him and his green hair carrying two trays. Sneaking up behind him, she tucked the angel under one arm and held her bag in her hand. With one finger she poked Kim on the back, and stuck the angle on his head like a hat. She quickly stepped back out of his arm's reach, knowing that his reflexes were as good as hers were, and that was saying something.
When Kim turned, which he likely would, the angle would fall from his head, having been precariously balanced on his head. Bailey would bend over to pick the angle up, and to hand it to Kim. She would be laughing, as long as Kim didn't do something drastic like she had to Dexter that one time. With a smile, Bailey would hand the angle to Kim, and say "I found you! it would have been embarrassing if i had done that to a stranger. Though between the two of us, i doubt there are very many strangers in this room. Plus your hair is kinda hard to mistake - i like the green. It really does suit you! Ohh - I made you this angle tree topper!!! does it remind you of anyone?"

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Kim kind of wanted to do more. Despite his initial reluctance to come, it had actually been quite a nice distraction, engaging in these activities. Maybe he'd go back and do more. After he'd deposited the cakes somewhere. He couldn't carry around a bunch of cakes like this, especially if he wanted to do more of them. Upon a more careful look, Kim decided to give Bailey the chocolate one because he knew she loved chocolate. Plus, the sunshine tended to shine down through the branches of trees, and trees had roots and the dark one represented this. It was perfect for her. The white was more Damion's style, especially since Kim had taken to calling him Snowball by the end of his first year and snow was colored white. He didn't really know what he'd do with the Yule Logs he was going to make. Maybe he'd just make them and then give them away to random people. For a Christmas gift or something along those lines. It was around this time that he felt something poke him in the back and he glanced over his shoulder, to see who or what it was. At the same time, something was placed into his hair and his eyes bulged for a split second, not able to register what it was. "?!" A brief exclamation escaped his lips. Kim didn't want to overreact though, because he was balancing his creations. Dropping either of them because he got startled... That wasn't something he would do, no matter how difficult it was to make himself stand still at the moment. Kim's eyeballs went up to his head as he held it steady and then glanced over at Bailey, who had managed to find him again. So it was her. She was the culprit who had put whatever it was on his head! "What is it? What did you put on my head?!" Kim exclaimed, not daring to move. Was it something alive? Or was it something she'd made? When Bailey reached up to remove the item from his hair and handed it to him, the green haired teen let his blue eyes flicker over it. It was an angel topper, one that also had green hair and Kim tilted his head to the side a little bit. "Is it me?" He asked, curious. Of course it had to be him, right? But then again, there were a few others who also had been sporting different hair colors lately. So he wasn't entirely certain. That reminded him, he needed to give her one of his own creations. A faint smile came to his lips, one that seemed a bit tired but it was still nice to look at, and he handed her the chocolate Yule Log cake he'd made. "I made one for you. I know how you love chocolate." Kim told her, handing Bailey the platter/tray with the chocolate Yule Log cake. Now Kim had one left. He glanced around the room. Damion usually was present at errands like this, Kim had come to see him quite often this year, which was rare. Back in the past, he'd rarely seen him at events such as these. Could something have changed over the past year? Regardless of the reason as to why Damion was becoming much more active than before, Kim's current mission was to see if he was there in the room. It would be easier for him to simply give it over to him so he didn't have to carry it all over the place. He'd already decided on doing another three cakes, one for Precious, Colin and Pax. Sage was a bit too busy lately and Kim didn't want to interrupt her with food distractions. Hm, maybe another one for Taizu too. Balancing two cakes in each hand on a platter? It would be quite a feat that was to be sure. But he could probably do it, as long as no one got in his way. He could also just levitate them in the air if someone bumped into him and they went flying off the platter. Four was his limit though. Kim decided on doing the last four cakes after he went to all the other tables and engaged in all of the activities. After all, he could put his creations into his enchanted satchel and store them safely inside. The cakes were the only things that couldn't go in and thus should be done last for convenience. Kim carefully placed the green haired angel topper into his satchel and inclined his head towards Bailey, thanking her without being vocal about it. Ah there he was! Kim managed to catch a glimpse of his target through a sea of people. But therein lay the problem. He'd have to navigate through a lot of people and being too close to others gave him massive anxiety most of the time. The green haired teen took a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to decide what to do. Well, he'd try to raise his voice and wave at Shiro, the Japanese version of Damion's last name, to catch his attention. If that didn't work, he'd just have to make an extra trip to his dorm later, unless Kim caught him on the way out of the Great Hall. Thankfully, he managed to get seen by Shiro. Kim's target came over to him and when he was within hearing range, the green haired teen handed him the platter. The tray that had the beautiful white work of art that was a Yule Log cake. "I made one for you, Shiro. It represents your last name." Kim told him and waited for Damion to take it from him. Glancing back over at Bailey, Kim addressed her once again. "I'd like to go check out the other booths before I leave. I also might do some more of the activities I already did too. Do you have any future plans for tonight? I don't want to keep you waiting if you do." He said, welcoming her company but also giving her an out if she needed one too. How would Bailey respond and what did her night look like? Kim glanced over at Damion again. "What about you? Are you done here, or are you hanging around to do more?" He asked. Despite his inner desire to just leave... Well, he couldn't do so yet. He still needed to check out the rest of the activities in greater detail up close. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────

Happy Holidays!
Damion had just finished making the Snowflakes, yes he had made paper snowflakes and Elliot his puffball Snowman. He was still a kid at heart, who would name the things he made. Not usually. But sometimes when he wanted to get really attached to things he would name them. Well this was the first time he had named any item that he had created. He had made a few things in his four years here at Hogwarts.

Date: 10th December 2022
Was this snowman something that he had made in memory of someone? Who though? Um... Before Damion could guess in whose memory was this snowman Elliot made.... He saw the younger boy whom he was fawning over- yes yes Kim... Wave to him. Damion waved back to him and made his way to where Kim was with yep you guessed it right- Bailey Glade.
Well he didn't mind Bailey being constantly close to Kim. But he did wonder from time to time whether there was something going on. After all there were rumors around the school about BaiKim. And though Damion didn't want to believe in them- that was not going to make those rumors go away. Sighing softly- hoping that neither of the two people there would hear it, he made his way to them. He smiled as he saw the younger boy that had been making him daydream, oh boy! He was gone. He couldn't stop staring at Kim.
Damion looked at the cake that were in Kim's hand and smiled. "Who knew you made such nice looking yule logs Kim?" He said controlling himself. He was finding it very hard to control how he felt about the younger boy and in this close proximity it was getting even harder to do so. "Shiro... that is a nice name. Thank you Kim" He said mentally swooning on the younger Gryffindor. Damion took the cake that Kim was handing him. He loved how sweet that gesture was. Boy! Did he want to kiss the younger Gryffindor? No Damion no! He scolded himself. "What Shiro mean, Kim?" He asked looking at the younger Gryffindor boy.
He looked at Bailey as he moved closer to where they were siting and smiled at her. "Hello Bailey" He said looking at her. He had Elliot- the snow man in his pocket and the paper snowflake in his hand. "See what I made!!" He said excitedly and smiled as he showed them the Snowflake and Snowman. "The Snowman is called Elliot." He said looking at them with his eyes glistening with joy.
He looked at Kim as Kim asked Bailey what her plans were. Damion thought Kim was really sweet and cared about his friends so much. He tried to hide his blush from his face but there would still be signs of it on hi face as he saw Kim turning to him. "Well I thought it would be nice to hang out here." He said smiling. "What about you Kim? Are you done with this? Or what else do you have planned?" He asked hoping that he was not stepping on any foot here. He didn't want to sound possessive about Kim.

This was definitely one of Bailey favorite errands she had attended, not only cause Kim hadn’t ran away or not come with her, but because of the variety of options for religions and within the tables and sections.
When she snuck up behind Kim, he emitted a funny surprised sound, and Bailey laughed, after she made sure she was out of his reach. Both of their reflexes were amazing and Bailey didn’t want to get on the wrong side of his reflexes.
He then asked what was on his head. Kim was quite careful, not dropping either of the cakes which he was holding, and which bailey had not seen before.
Removing the angle from Kim’s head, she held it up for him to see.
Trying to catch her breath, which she had lost laughing, Bailey managed to say “It’s an angle tree topper… and I’m giving it to you, cause for some reason it looks like you.. hehe”
Kim asked if it was him, and she smiled, and said “Yep and now it’s yours!!”
Bailey was overfilled with joy and happiness and excitement, she felt like a small child again.
Baileys jaw dropped when Kim handed her a beautifully decorated log, one that was chocolate. It was gorgeous, and as she accept it from Kim she said “Wow… this is amazing!! Thank you.. thank you Kim so much!!!”
Kim then went up to Damion, to present him with the other cake. Bailey smiled at Kim being social all on his own, but she did feel a tad bit possessive, and she could not figure out why.
To herself bailey thought they’re just / Kim’s just giving him a cake, it’s nothing
Shaking the odd feeling off, Bailey smiled and listened as Kim once again addressed her.
“I’d love to check out more of the booths! I don’t have any plans, besides relaxing with a good book and a steaming cup of tea in one of the nooks in my dorm, and just relaxing in general. Maybe a little cheating time with my dorm mates!”
Bailey smiled at the thought of Taisia and her other dorm mates.
“I mentioned you once, and now one of my dorm mates Taisia wants to meet you- indunno why, I just mentioned the rumors of us dating and how silly they were.
Anyways, I’m game to go see the other booths! And please don’t feel like you have to stay for me, don’t just wait here for me-.”
Bailey thought I should make something for Taisia and Colin and my other friends as well!! while waiting for Kim to decide on a booth to visit. Bailey intended to follow him around, and stop when she found something that interested her.

| ─── | A thought came to mind as to how to solve his problems.
By problems he meant giving out the Yule Log Cakes to everyone. It was really quite a simple solution. Kim didn't know why he hadn't thought of it before. He could simply package the cakes up and send owls to deliver them to the recipients. This way he didn't have to track them down, get held up with small talk, or have to deal with crowds of people. Yes, it meant he had to trek up to the owlery which was nerve-wracking, but it was worth it. As long as he didn't spend too much time up there and didn't look outside, it would be fine. He sent owls on a regular basis to his quill pal, who happened to be Bailey. So Kim could easily do this... When he gave her the cake, Bailey gushed over how amazing it was and thanked him over and over. A faint twitch of his lips could be seen as he inclined his head towards her. "It's nothing much. I didn't make the cake, they were premade but I did the decorations." Kim said, not wanting to take credit for the entire thing because that would seem too much like boasting in his opinion. "Hopefully it'll taste good." He said, wondering about this. It wasn't as if he'd eaten one of the cakes here, they could be delicious or bad. He'd probably go do the artistic things first. Then, swing back around to the cake decorating station and make some more to take back with him later. Bailey agreed to come and check out the other booths and then mentioned one of her dorm mates wanting to meet him later. Kim nodded but didn't say much in relation to this. He wasn't much for small talk, so this was normal for him. As Damion also praised him for the cake, Kim shook his head again. "I only did the decorations, not the entire cake. So hopefully it looks alright and tastes good." He said and gave the boy a smile. Not a real one but one that had been on his lips since the fall ball had finally come to an end. It was a smile that seemed to make people think he was alright, because if someone was smiling that meant they were, right? Most people wouldn't think much of what type of smile Kim was wearing, only that he had one. Damion thanked him for the nickname and reached up to scratch his head a little. "Um, Shiro means white in Japanese. I'm part Japanese and part Korean." He told him, revealing a little tidbit about himself that he didn't usually share with others. It hadn't been intentional, the information had slipped out... Damion turned to Bailey and showed her his creations. As he did this, Kim glanced around the bustling room. Thankfully, it seemed as if things were winding down. There were still a great deal of people around but not nearly as many as before. So he could go to stations with ease now and not have to worry about people bumping into him, or vise versa. Damion excitedly showed them both Elliot, the snowman. Kim let his blue eyes flicker over the item and nodded. "It looks great, Shiro!" He told him, remembering how he'd created his own snowman before. That had been fun to do. So far he'd created a snowflake, snowman, garland and cakes. But he felt like doing a lot more activities... For Sophia. Glancing at Damion and Bailey, Kim forced another wan smile to his lips. "I'll be going around and doing all the activities around the area. If you guys get bored, feel free to leave without me. But if you want to join in, I think it will be fun!" He told them and then headed off to the nearest station he hadn't gone to. Stopping at each of the stations he hadn't been to yet, Kim made a craft at each one, storing his creations into his satchel afterward. Puffie carefully watched the boy make each item. Eventually, Kim returned back to the Yule Log table. He selected another five cakes, each of these looking exactly the same, a holiday themed cake. They were all chocolate cakes with green dyed cream inside and decorated with green and red colors and designs on top of the Yule Log Cakes. Finished, Kim looked down at the five cakes he'd completed and then glanced over at Bailey and Damion. "So... mind if you two give me a hand? If you're free that is." He asked and pointed at two of the cakes on their rectangular shaped platters. "Can each of you carry one of these and head for the Owlery with me?" The teen wondered if they would help out for awhile. "Once we get there, you can just set them down somewhere up there. It's just it'll be a pain to carry them all myself at once. I'm not even sure that's possible." Kim told them. |

"i am sure they'll taste great - i don't think there has been a day that i haven't loved the food here, everything is cooked so well!!! and i am sure these cakes are no different!" Bailey said, smiling. "i'll let you know how the taste it - and worst comes to worst, we can just make our own!"
Bailey and Kim shared several things, one being the fact that they were owl pals, and another being their shared love of Baking and cooking and food and general.
The conversation moved on, and as it progressed to small talk Kim went a little quiet - Bailey had noticed that Kim had started avoiding small talk, big crowds, and people in general. He was becoming a bit of a loner, sticking with himself and his own thoughts. this was ok, until it became unhealthy, and Bailey considered it her job as his best friend to keep him from crossing the line to becoming unhealthy.
Bailey wandered around, looking at the rest of the tables. She made crafts at most of the tables, spending time to learn a little about each of the themes of the tables.
Kim approached her and damion later, asking if they'd take some cakes to the owlery. Bailey smiled and said "of course! do we need to address them, or are they already ready to go?"

Happy Holidays!
Damion was happy that he had finally found Kim and was with him and Bailey. Of course Bailey was everywhere where Kim was. But that didn't make him feel that much jealous. Yes he was a little jealous. He was crushing on Kim and seeing him with Bailey almost everywhere made him feel a little uncomfortable. Alright! He was jumping to conclusions. Bailey and Kim could be just friends. But what if they weren't. Stop thinking that Damion! He scolded himself in his mind.

He walked towards them and smiled. He was glad that Kim had offered him a cake. He loved eating sweet things. He looked at him and smiled as he took a bite of the cake. "Oh. It looks really pretty Kim." Damion said looking at him. He was happy that Kim wanted to share something like this with him. "Well they taste really good too" He said smiling as he looked at Kim. He was trying to reassure Kim that the Cake tasted good too.
Damion listened to what Kim was telling him about the meaning of Shiro. Oh! So Kim's lineage had some Korean and Japanese. It was really interesting. "That's very cool. Thank you for the nickname, Kim." He said looking at him. He was totally Welsh. But that didn't bother him at all. "I am from Gresford Wales" Damion told Kim. He was not going to withhold that info especially after Kim had opened up about where he was from.
Damion showed what he had created to Bailey and then turned to Kim. He smiled as he heard what Kim had to say about it. "Thank you Kim." He said looking at him. He nodded his head when he heard that Kim was going to check out other activities. He won't be bored. He wanted to be there, as much as possible with Kim. He was not going to follow Kim around as Kim did what he wanted to do.
Damion smiled as he watched Kim coming back. Anything for you Kim. He thought. He looked at the cakes that Kim was pointing at and nodded his head. "Yeah sure. I will help you out Kim." Damion said looking at him. He would do anything to be with Kim. "Sure I'd carry them to the Owlery" He said smiling. He wouldn't mind doing things when it meant he could get to be with Kim more. He picked up the cakes in his hand and followed Kim.

| ─── | Kim shook his head at Bailey's question.
"It's fine. I can take care of everything, I only need your help getting them to the owlery." He told the girl by his side and thought about who the recipients would be. Maybe he'd send them to those he'd come to know during his first year. Or perhaps just those he still knew in his second year, as a lot of the people from his first year were no longer there. Kim glanced over at Damion as the boy told him he was from Wales. Interesting, Kim hadn't ever been to that area before. But he did enjoy traveling a lot, so maybe at some point in time he'd visit the place. The teen gave Damion a nod of acknowledgment regarding his words. Kim took a moment to glance around him. It really was a beautiful errand and one Sophia would have loved to participate in. What a shame she had missed out on her chance to do so. Even though he'd done his best to do things in her stead, it still just wasn't the same. So many people had left him already, people he'd thought he'd be with until the end of his time here. But now, they were all gone. A sigh escaped his lips. Maybe his parents had been right all along, perhaps it was better to just form connections here at Hogwarts. And not true relationships with people. If he stuck with the former and not the latter, he could never get hurt again. Kim turned around to face the entrance of the great hall and started forward. With both students helping him out by carrying the cakes, the trio headed out of the great hall and up towards the owlery. |
