What do you do when everything changes? You adapt, as stupid as that sounds, it's the survival of the fittest, or at least for me... My mother sent me across the world so I could attend a school, not just any school the school, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Do you know what's the best part? I'm staying with my grandfather that cutt off his own daughter for falling in love, sick right? The scottish man is total hell, plus to top off the dessert, everyone thinks Im even weirder for having an new Jersey accent. I mean, how the he'll was I supposed to control that? Sometimes I like to do a posh accent to just see their reactions... That's gotten me in trouble a couple times though... So, not recommended! Especially in front of your scottish grandfather that lives in Godric Hollow, England! It's not that Im disrespectful or rude to my grandfather, he just likes to nitpick me, I'm guessing it has to do with my father that I never personally met! Though it fells like total hell, not everything has been bad. I actually liked learning about my family's history... Though I don't remember any of it now, but I do know that we have lived in that mansion for generations. Sometimes I see sorrow in my grandfather's eyes, a sort of regret, you know? But though we are now getting along I still have a small resentment for him for cutting off my mother forcing her to ha e to find a job... My grandfather seemed to avoid me at most, but he was still a parental figure and took care of my needs but it felt like their was a space between us he couldn't pass. Like a vampire is repelled by garlic. Maybe I remind him too much of the daughter who he disowned. He had dropped me off with a list of everything I needed with a small bag of coins in diagon alley. Somehow he knew exactly how much I needed because I had nothing to spare to sneak a treat with. I found the best thing og this whole trip was getting my very own wand fron ollivanders. He dropped me off at the 9 and three-fourths platform wished me well and left, I was left standing alone with my baggage in front of a old-fashioned train that I quite fancied. We were early as the train pulled exactly as we had gotten there, which made me question my grandfather's vast knowledge. I had almost first pick as I boarded, taking the vert back compartment hoping to avoid people, I was social but I was also anti-social, if that makes any sense. I put my luggage on the seat across from me, closed a door which stated, "Do not enter!" I hoped that took that warning sign as I laid and fell asleep....
"Forget about the dirty looks. The photographs your boyfriend took. You said you read me like a book. But the pages all are torn and frayed!"
