“One foot in front of the other,” she tells herself in her mind. She truly doesn’t want to go to the trophy room. Her family had bragged so much about their quidditch skills, and she has yet to do anything. It’s true, that this is her first year at Hogwarts, but she is still sad. Her mom never let her join any junior quidditch teams.
“Well, here I am,” she thinks as she enters the trophy room. Before she walks over to the trophy case, she takes in her surroundings. The glass is a little dusty, but other than that the room is spotless. She looks at the trophies, and sees her uncle’s seeker trophy. It’s polished, and by the looks of it, it was recently clean.
“Of course he’d try to keep it clean,” Blakely told herself, “he’s so full of himself.” She has so many insults at the tip of her toung, but she keeps them to herself. There’s no one else here anyways.
She moves on on to the next trophy belonging to a member of her family. She sees her obnoxious brother’s beater trophy. She wishes he would love her. “Alast, he doesn’t,” she tells herself, like all those other lonely days. What she doesn’t know is he truly does.
She mutters a spell to rid a corner of dust and mildew, and sits down in it. The room is silent, and when her first tear drop hits the polished floor, they don’t stop coming. Her hazel eyes are wet, and they will stay that way for quite a while. She wishes she could be more confident at this time, like she is any other time, but anything about her family can take that confidence away from her, as easily as taking a baby’s candy.

Peach wanted to have a look at this oh so popular and fantastic Trophy Room. It was said that the names of so many great wizards were engraved on trophies of all sorts, and she was curious to see them. She wasn't quite sure of where the room was so she had to ask a couple of students on the way but she did end up finding it. A big, polished door stoop before her and she lightly pushed to make her way in. The room was well lit and all sorts of shiny things were dazzling her. She doubted that her family's name would ever be on any of the trophies but it didn't stop her from looking for the name Thorne in the T's. The young girl found nothing and so, she decided to walk freely. The room was huge, and the most prestigious trophies were all kept in a glass type of room, certainly protected by a whole sort of spells.
Thinking about it, Peach didn't think that anyone in her family ever did anything prestigious and important. they were all simple wizards, who never looked for fame and preferred security overall. Peach thought that this way of life was the simplest and possibly the happiest but she would not mind being famous, as being famous is apparently amazing.
Lost in her thoughts, she kept on wandering in the room, but a noise coming from near attracted her. She walked discretly to the place and found a young first year, crying on the floor. peach wasn't quite sure of what to do but she couldn't let that girl alone while in a moment like this, so she kneed down, near the girl, and smiled gently.
"Hello, I am Peach. Are you okay?"
