Their environment was getting much colder at Hogwarts, winter fast approaching. The chilly air bit the girl's nose as she strolled through the courtyard, her footsteps lightly tapping the ground with a click. Billy quite liked when the weather was in such a cold state. It was beautiful in a way, especially when snow began to touch the ground. It lit the place up with a warmth despite the bitterness of the air.
Yet, thoughts about the weather were the last things on her mind. Billy still had plenty of homework to start working on, especially with the Defense Against the Dark Arts. Billy loved that class, but yet found herself always working on something else. Most likely astronomy. Today though, the first-year finally decided to sit down and start getting it done. With this new found motivation, Billy wanted to get it done as quickly as possible before it escaped from her grasp. Billy was not one to get distracted easily after all. It should be a breeze!
Sadly for Billy, she may have just jinxed herself. She heard footsteps from a single person walking into the courtyard. Well, Billy thought she was going to be the only one here...But that was alright. She looked up, tilting her head slightly. It was a first-year Hufflepuff, a rather tall one actually. Most first years hardly reached that height at their age. It confused her, and yet she found herself staring at the boy without even taking notice.

André made his way out to the Courtyard of the magical school, history of magic in hand and scarf wrapped loosely around his neck. Despite not wanting to he was going to study. History of magic was his worst class, and he wanted to get his grades up. Possibly even get an O! So far almost all his classes were an E, all but history of magic.
He took a deep breath when he finally made it there. He liked the outside, unlike indoors things looked different and he found it easier to find his way. He noticed that there was only one other person in the courtyard she appeared to be Slytherin, A first year like him.
He decided to go up and talk to here to stall studying, as he didn't want to in the first place. "Hello, sorry to bother you. But I'm André André Lebedev. What's your name?" he asked with a friendly smile. He hoped that she would talk to him, and well let himself be distracted, or maybe help him study. Most everyone he's met has been nice.
He shifted his weight onto his feet waiting for a reply to his question. "So what are you working on?" He asked "If you want to that is" He added as and after thought.
