December 18th. Bailey honestly had nothing planned that she was going to do, so she decided to practice walking. Not just walking, but walking in heels. There were plenty of balls, parties, and events coming up in the next six months, Bailey figured that she would end up wearing heels for some, if not all of them. So, she had to be able to walk in them. But then she remembered Kim had owled her, asking if she would come to Taisu's birthday that he was holding. With a smile and an extra pep in her step, Bailey headed to the kitchen, to make something (s) special for her dear friend.
In the kitchen, Bailey made some quick treats for Taizu - a batch of her triple chocolate scone she, Coco, and Kim had enjoyed the day they had first met.
Bailey also asked the house elves for some Onigiri, since that was one thing she had no clue on how to make. Taizu had introduced her to this delicious Japanese form of a sandwich when they had enjoyed a picnic together. Bailey smiled and laughed a little to herself, thinking of that wonderful, amazing day she had met the three people who were now closest to her at Hogwarts.
As a gift to everyone who came, Bailey made a few bags, filled with some cookies she had made previously, and some chocolate truffles.
laden with food, Bailey took herself from the kitchen to the classroom Kim had said the party would be.
She was slowly getting the hang of heels, but would definitely need practice dancing in them. maybe i can recruit Kim to help... or maybe coco, or one of his friends.... Bailey thought, trying to think who would be the best dance partner.
Entering the classroom, Bailey spotted Kim, and Puffie on his shoulder. Putting the Onigri on the table with Kim's savory dishes, Bailey then put her scones on the desert table, and the party treat bags on three of the four seats that Kim had pulled together.
that all done, Bailey went over to Kim and said "i hope you don't mind that u brought food - i brought some of the things we had for the picnic, the day that we met, thinking it would be a good idea!"
Giving Kim a quick hug, Bailey pulled back to scratch puffie on the head.
In her bag, bailey had a few gifts for taizu - a swan, to hold his chopsticks, and a cat squishmallow, that was quite large but that she had fit into a small box.
Bailey had seen these in the airport, while coming back from Poland, and had to get them for her friend Taizu. She also had a gift for Kim, which she was saving for Christmas, and one for Coco, which she would give to him the next time that she saw him. Colin's gift was a plushie goat dressed in a kilt - Bailey had laughed upon spotting it in one of the stores, and had immediately bought it to give to Colin.
with that thought, bailey asked Kim "who else is coming?"

Attire: Usual weekend kit: Slytherin pride, neck ring, kilt, no shoes. Nothing fancy!

Ah Sunday! The best day of the week, Sunday! Why, one might ask, is Sunday the best day of the week? Wrong you are! No, it's not because there's no post on Sunday! In Colin's experience at Hoggy's Sunday was the best day, especially in winter, because the corridors weren't jammed with students and Prefects! He could run all along the corridors and hardly have to scootch around a single person.

As he ran along the particular corridor Kimmo had told him to show up at, a rather delicious smell began to reach his nose. They were nowhere near the kitchens or even the great hall. He smirked. Such smells up here in this particular place could only mean that Kim Aoki and Bailey Glade were nearby!

"WHOA!!" Colin gave Kim and Bailey a loud wolf whistle as he came charging through the door and caught them hugging! "Bailey!" he nodded cheerfully. "Kimmo! You're a rascal!" Colin felt like the last five months since he'd really been around Kim just melted away. He'd wanted to see his friend before, but both had been kind of busy and hadn't been able to connect!

"I thought ---!" Colin caught himself before saying any more. He had been certain that Kim and Sophia were dating. After all, that girl was practically an extension of Kim for all they hung out together! He hadn't seen her since just before the ball; but she seemed to have disappeared around then. And now Kim's got another girl already!? And none other than Bailey Glade!

Colin sidled in, set two inexpertly wrapped parcels on the table with the other gifts along with a container of various cheese nibbles and with a sly smirk, decided to collapse into one of the comfy bean bags. "I myself couldn't imagine," he said to no one in particular, "falling for anyone other than a Ravenclaw. Anyway, where's Tai? Shouldn't he be here by now?" Clearly Kim was flying from bird to bird!

Bailey petted Puffie, and he squeaked a greeting to her. She smiled at him, and then turned her smile to Kim. He complemented her outfit, and she smiled. "thank you! I decided on heels... i think i might regret this later, but I decided i should at least practice walking in them before all the parties and balls and events!"
Leaning in to give Kim a hug, Bailey said softly, not sure if Kim could hear, "you look.. really good too..."
As bailey was giving Kim her usually quick hug, their friend Coco rushed in, and wolf whistled at them - and bailey blushed, letting go of Kim.
Bailey had teased Colin about him and his love of Clair, so even though she and Kim were not 'dating' and were not a 'thing' she considered it fair.
Colin had been about to say something more, but.. he stopped himself. Bailey didn't pry, but she was curious about what he was going to say. Kim teased coco about Clair, and Bailey smiled at them. Kim's jokes seemed a little forced, but maybe she would ask colin if he thought the same or if she was imagining it.
letting it go, Bailey and coco waited till Kim got back with Taizu.
Bailey used this time to give Coco the gift she had gotten him. Colin's gift was a plushie goat dressed in a kilt - Bailey had laughed upon spotting it in one of the stores, and had immediately bought it to give to Colin.
Handing it to him, bailey said "I found this in an airport when i was heading towards Poland for the summer, and it immediately made me think of you - i just had to get it!!!!"
When Taisu entered, Bailey smiled widely and said "happy birthday!!!!"

"Oh, the decorations are brilliant, Kim!" He remembered back to Bailey's birthday party and how wonderful that was! Colin wasn't much for fancy things or parties, but he could tell that his friend had a gift for it! "I'm sure Tai will love them!" Colin returned Kim's teasing with a smirk. It was true, though, his mind was often focused on a certain Ravenclaw broom racer! And his mind did in fact wander there until Bailey present him with a gift! "Thanks Bailey!" It was really nice. Colin wasn't exactly clear on what a hair port was, but apparently it was a place where one could find interesting things like goat plushies! He'd have to ask Bailey about hair ports later, because now Tai had arrived!

"Hey Tai! Happy birthday, lad!" Colin greeted Taizu with a smile and ruffled his hair a bit. "Kimmo has outdone himself again!" Kim reminded them that this was just like their first meeting last year. It was just the four of them for a really delicious picnic outside that time; Colin reckoned that January might be a bit chilly for some, and an indoor picnic was almost as nice as an outdoor one!

"Now that Tai is here, we can get to it! Eating and relaxing and giving gifts to Tai!" Colin was keen to see what Bailey and Kim had chosen to give their friend. He also wondered if Bailey had gotten her present for Taizu from a hair port!

Colin was right - Kim's eye for decorations and such was real. He did have a gift for organizing events like this, and bailey was reminded of her amazing birthday party that he had put on for her. Smiling, she gave coco his gift. He seemed slightly confused. Bailey could only assume he was wondering what an 'air port' was - and the same went for Kim. Bailey forgot that they were not regulars in the muggle world, and probably had never been to an airport before. She made a mental note to explain later, but not now - Taizu had just arrived!
"happy birthday taizu!!!!!" bailey cried out, smiling widely. Hugging taizu, she said. Bailey did in fact have a gift for Taizu, a plushie sushi roll, that was in a large gift bag that bailey had brought.
Bailey smiled at the younger boy's excitement, and at the comfort she felt being in a room with her closest friends. Bailey was in fact the eldest out of all of them, but she didn't mind. She was also the only girl, but she was honestly used to that- she did in fact have three brothers.
Kim steered Taizu towards the food table, and bailey would let taizu get food, and then would go forwards to get food for herself when Kim and Coco did.
