Elizabeth walked in the corridor soberly, after having a rather intense Potions lesson. Now she just wanted to relax. She lazily glided through the corridors, apolagising if she bumped into one person or another.
Her head was a mop of staggering, brown curls and her eyes were twinkling with merriness that clashed prettily with her bronze and red robe colors. Elizabeth's mind went away, as she daydreamed of her family at home. Her bag was crammed full with odd books, some for lessons and others for her own amusement. She half staggered past the other milling students, suddenly aware that her bag as heavier than she had thought.
Her soft, black shoes padded on the stoned floor with a clink while she gazed at the silver suits of armor that stood lifelessly at every turn. She wondered if they could move - that would certainly be a bit entertaining! Elizabeth loved some sort of amusement. Suddenly, her bag split and all her books tumbled down, all seeming to be eager to get out. She let out a strangled groan and she flung herself to the floor and begun the tedious job of putting these away from others feet and trying to fit it in another spare bag that she was lucky to have.

In the corridors
The suits of armour were lined among the walls. Portraits of people were lined among the walls. The people in the portraits were talking animatedly. Some were crying. Some were dancing. Well, Ben didn't care whatever was happening there, as long as one wasn't shouting at him. Was he the only person who got scolded by a portrait because it wanted to? He put those thoughts aside. But there was one thing that he needed to take care of; the staircases. One staircase almost killed him when he first arrived here. Luckily, he survived without having any serious injuries. As usual, questions were bubbling up in his mind. Who built these staircases? What magic did they use? Are they capable of injuring people? There were questions about the portraits, too. Is there a portrait that is friendly enough to talk about? Where do the people inside the portrait go when they are not in the portrait? His mind was always like that. He didn't know why, but his mind keeps on thinking and thinking with no end. He was thinking about how he always thinks when he heard something rip. He looked in front of him. There was a girl 20 paces from her who was bent down on the floor grabbing some books on the floor and stuffing them inside a bag. Another bag lay aside, with a tear big enough that the bag can't be used anymore. He rushed to the girl, his instincts kicking in. He picked up the remaining books and the damaged bag and stood up. "Here are your books, milady." He pointed to the damaged bag. "This thing surely has something against you," He said, smiling.

Andrea was rushing through the halls, trying desperately not to be late. Professor Zoe would not take kindly to her running late for the second time this week. As she passed a corridor she saw a boy and a girl stooping to pick up items from what seemed to be a split bag. She decided to help out, since it wouldn't be exactly kind if she just let them sit there. She heard the boy say "Here are your books, milady. This thing surely has something against you." Andrea smiled, walking closer to them. "I'm Andrea, a first year Hufflepuff." She said, "I hate when this happens. It happened to me last week." She said with a sympathetic look. She bent down to help. "We're learning Reparo in charms, maybe you could use that, if you know it by now. At least you had an extra bag on you." She helped the two of them pick all the books up, and she took some paper towels out of her bag and wiped up the spilled ink. "I really hope this doesn't make us late to class. I have so much work to do this week. I don't know how I'm going to survive this year!"

Not exactly a rough day but tiring as hell. Day by day, as time goes on and on, it's stressful that there are so many lessons to study, to prepare for the exams. But what's more stressful is that she hasn't even literally touched two of the subjects so far.
Grabbing a granola bar from her bag, Adya walked leisurely, nearly getting crushed by the crowds of students. Thankfully no bone is broken. Her face gets slapped several times by her own hair as the chill breeze brushes past her. Adya hugged and rubbed her arms as the goosebumps started prickling her skin.
However, she doesn't feel like staying in her dorm. Adya noticed a girl, a Gryffindor, as per her uniform, dropping some books all of a sudden. It didn't bother Adya that the girl was struggling to pick all her books. She even had help from A Ravenclaw and A Hufflepuff. Couldn't she be a little more careful?
Adya decided to ignore them and walk away like many but couldn't stop herself from picking up a book that seemed to have been distant from the group grabbing the books. Stepping in front of them "Here you go-" she stretched her hand to give her book back. "- By the way, be cautious- I don't want to scare you but a bag tearing apart isn't a good omen", she directed a pitiful smile to the girl. Honestly, it's not true even if it is, Adya didn't know it. She was just bored.

Ben looked at the three girls surrounding him. One of them was getting up, mending her ripped bag and carrying books. She had long almond hair and looked like a book worm. She was also a Gryffindor. The heroic house. A lot of wizards who eradicated the evil were from this house. A Hufflepuff was also helping, and introduced herself as Andrea. She had brown hair and green eyes, and seems very friendly. Makes sense, as Hufflepuffs usually are friendly and they tend to help. The last one was giving a book back to the Gryffindor, and she seemed unfriendly. She said that the ripped bag was a bad omen. Does she know Divination? Or is she just playing around? Slytherins tend to be on the unfriendly side. Or at least that's what she heard. Was she Indian, by any chance? His mother sometimes talked about her Indian grandmother with him. He got up. And he didn't notice the suit of armor which was beside him. Clang! The top half tumbled onto Ben and the helm fit snugly on his head. He narrowly avoided the blade as it fell down. The suits can't move. But they have a sword. That solved some questions. ''Oops,'' He murmured,''That was a lot of noise. I am Ben. Benjamin. Benjamin Detmerr. His voice echoed inside the helmet. Wait a minute. Why is he wearing this helmet? He took it off, got up, dusted himself, and smiled. ''I'm okay. We just need to inform someone about this mess.''

Andrea watched as a kid that introduced himself as Ben knocked over a suit of armor. "I'm okay. We just need to inform someone about this mess." He said. "Nah," Andrea said. "We can clean it up ourselves. It's not a huge deal." She began picking up the stray pieces of armor that had slid across the floor, trying to figure out where each piece went. "Better be more careful next time, you could've been cut." She said, gesturing to the sword. She turned away from the knight, as she had just finished putting it together. She turned to the girl that had just entered the group. "No need to scare..." She paused, "What's your name?" She whispered to the girl with the ripped bag. "Mine's Andrea by the way." She turned back to the girl that had commented about her bag, "Well, anyways, no need to scare her. I've read all about bad omens and I haven't seen anything about a ripped bag." She said rather snidely, she hated whenever people went out of their way to bother others. She rolled her eyes at the girl. "Well, anyways, what all houses are you guys in? I'm a hufflepuff." She said with a smile. "Once I learned about hogwarts- I'm a muggleborn you see- I was hoping to be a hufflepuff. But most of the other houses seem cool too!"
