I can tell you that Colin hates Ava and Thorn right now. If Ava somehow escaped expulsion, he at least would do everything he could to make Ava's life difficult and dreary. I suspect others would be of like mind. Just think of how James Potter continually harried Severus Snape. I'd really love it, Ava, if you are expelled, and if they develop an adult system, please keep working on Ava so you can bring her back then! I'd love for a more mature Colin to interact with a grown up Ava who'd have the time to sort herself out!
OOC Ava honestly does not strike me as a particulatly broken person. She doesnt seem to have any kind of psychological issues, doesnt really have a reason or an impetus for murder. Her choice of action was objectively wrong, and deserves some kind of punishment. In her defense, she didnt carry through. Also in her defense, there may well be some underlying magical rationale or explanation. She may very well be under an imperius curse. Maybe theres some potion thats making her do this.
Of course, that's all IC. OOC, I don't have any problem with you or what happened. What happened is totally realistic, and literally not quite as shocking as the evening news (which, quite honestly, lost its shock value decades ago). It has given me (& i hope others) the opportunity to explore our characters inner workings.

@Ava winchet trying to understand ava's psychology to why a 11-12 yo would have an incentive to carry a knife around and threaten others with it... reading her backstory it's not like she had a really traumatic one that may have her develop such tendencies.
I know auri used to carry hers during her 'monster hunting' phase, she actually had a reason to after being bitten by a dhampir but never used it...
