Rosie Parker, Set Forth!
Talking to Adam seemed to make everything better for Rosie. It was a carefree conversation, ones where she felt the most relaxed, and the conversation that reminded her of the ones she had with Anatole in the ballroom, or with Rhea at the lake. She smiled and rested on her elbows on the grass, not minding the fact they'd be dirty later on. Rosie was never one to worry too much about her cleanliness, sure she always kept hygiene at it's best with showers and whatnot, but when it came to be overly obsessed about being clean at all times, Rosie was not one of those people. She would gladly jump into the lake with her clothes on and decide to worry about it later when she got out.
The first comment Adam made, in return made Rosie blush. Could never be replaced? He called her irreplaceable? Adam was probably one of the nicest boys she had met, and usually Anatole was at the top of the list. She smiled back at Adam with her cheeks a light pink. "Thank you, Adam. That actually... Means a lot. I don't get a lot of compliments like that." She said softly, playing with a strand of her hair.
Then they had come to a state where they had just been looking at each other. Adam had seemed to be struggling to find something to say, until he finally sputtered it out. Ah yes, nervousness. It makes you say such odd things in odd ways, and unfortunately it had taken over poor Adam. In response, Rosie giggled. "You are fine." She assured, grinning. "I kind of know Amadea, I've seen her around. Can't say I've had a full conversation with her. She must be plenty nice though." Rosie nodded. She had seen Amadea around in her classes, more or less the Hufflepuff common room. "Also can't say I know many Ravenclaws, you have the honor of being the first one." Rosie said, plucking a flower gently and putting it behind her ear. Now they both had flowers.
Time. Time! Rosie completely forgot about her classes. She thought about it for a moment. If only she had a watch. Rosie sighed and shook her head. "No, I don't. We can head back in. I think I have HoM too. That class is... More difficult then I'd like to admit." Rosie sat up, stretching. "Besides, if we lay here too long, we might get bugs in our hair." She joked, laughing.

Rosie Parker, Set Forth!
It had been an excellent choice to return to this tree for the afternoon. Pushing himself up to a sitting position, Adam climbed to his feet and held out a hand to help Rosie up. "Ugh, bugs are the worst. I guess we should be glad they're not in the classrooms, huh? That's one good thing about the classes." Brushing the dirt off of his back, he laughed with her and nodded to the flower in her hair. "You look très chic, Madame. Who are you wearing this evening?" Holding an imaginary microphone up to her lips, Adam hoped he wasn't being too cheesy. Of course, they had just sat back and watched clouds together for nearly an hour. He didn't think his bad jokes were really a problem anymore.
Walking next to Rosie as the two of them headed inward to the castle, he made sure that his own ear-flower wasn't falling out and smiled at her. "It was awesome meeting you for real this time, Rosie. That was really fun, even if we just looked at the sky for most of it. We should definitely hang out more -- if you want to, that is!' He really hoped that she had enjoyed the afternoon as much as he had, and that he wasn't coming off too aggressive or anything. "Hey, maybe we'll see each other at the BlossomFest Ball! That sounds like it's going to be fun, huh? You and Anatole looked like pros during the dance lessons." Strangely, Adam wasn't as worried about talking too much as he usually was. He didn't think Rosie would mind it at all; and, curiously enough, he didn't feel too guilty about it this time. The Hufflepuff girl was a wonderful friend to just relax with. He couldn't wait until the next time they got together.
It wasn't long until they reached the door to the History of Magic classroom, and Adam peered into his bag to make sure he was ready for the lesson. Panicking slightly, he rooted around inside of it and realized that one of his textbooks was missing. Grimacing, he tried to determine if he had time to run and get it, and finally decided that being late and prepared was better than being on time but textbook-less. Quickly explaining to Rosie, he took a few quick steps down the hallway before calling back, "Meet you inside!"
Then, taking off down the hallway, Adam ran for the Ravenclaw tower with thoughts of his new friend in mind.

Rosie Parker, Set Forth!

"good friends are like stars, you don't always see them, but you know they're always there."
Spending time with Adam outside in the grounds was probably one of the most fun events she had in a while, especially with the conversations they had, and the clouds in the sky that they had discovered. The talking and laughing continued as they made their trek back to the castle, and when Adam put up the imaginary microphone, she laughed. "Thank you for asking!" She said dramatically. "I am wearing but the finest Hufflepuff clothing line made by Solomon Styles themselves!" She flipped her curly locks as they walked back, hopefully earning a laugh from Adam.
Once they entered the castle, she too checked to make sure her flower was still in her hair. If someone asked, they'd surely accuse her of getting cooties from the infamous Adam Har..Harrison? Rosie already forgot his last name. Anyway, smiled and nodded at his words, agreeing fully. "Are you crazy? I'd love to hang out with you more! You're really cool." She grinned. "And uhh... thank you." Rosie blushed at his comment about her and Anatole. "We practice a lot! It's something we're both good at." She nodded and walked with him to class.
They probably laughed and talked until they entered the class, until Adam realized he forgotten some of his stuff. "Don't worry! I'll tell the professor you're running late for supplies if he asks, hurry young grasshopper!" She yelled after Adam, before she entered the classroom, happily sitting down next to Eris while she questioned where Rosie was.
She had an hour to spent with Adam, in that time, it felt like she already knew so much about him. Maybe that was the good thing about meeting new people who you connected with easily, you could tell so much about them by just one connection. That's how you knew they were a real friend. So to Eris' question, Rosie responded with:
"Oh, I was just hanging out with a new friend."
Rosie leaves, and the thread ends.
