Flora walked slowly through the corridors as she looked around the place flocked with knight statues, school decorations and all that, and students. Despite being in Hogwarts for… perhaps a while now, sometimes the 1st year still found it overwhelming being with a load of people. Of course, she’d get used to it and its quite needed, but it’s noisy and, yeah, all that.

As the Slytherin was still quite new to the school, no one much knew her, and so on. Perhaps that’s why she usually walks alone. Maybe Flora should try and gain herself some friends, too- But how to? The 1st year wondered often on the topic of friends. To be honest, she never had one, and only got her younger sibling with her. Walking on her own, the chocolate-color haired girl walked right besides the statues and statues of knights, and quietly walked past groups of friends. The statues looked lonely to her, too— Are they friendless, just like her? Or maybe they’re actually popular amongst their kinds and are very welcoming with a lot of friends? No one would ever know, she guessed. Sometimes— She did really wished to have a childhood with friends like others. Making friends is a bit… hard for her.

Pandora had finally managed to stand out from the crowd of students. Even though it was 1:00 pm, she was still tired. This year was going better than she thought. She met so many new people. She gripped her bag tighter. She wanted to be in the classroom before the other students. Passing by the statues just then, she bumped into someone and fell to the ground.

"Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you. Really sorry."

She wasn't looking at the person she bumped into as she spoke because she was picking up what had fallen out of her bag. While collecting, she saw that there was no music box. While collecting, she saw that there was no music box. She was scared. Inside was her favorite piano melody sound that she first learned to play.

"Did you see the jukebox here? A white music box that looks like a tiny piano and decorated with tiny colorful flowers on top?"

She spoke quickly and anxiously. She looked at the girl. She had given it to her sister Zatana before she went back to school on New Year's Eve, but it was clearly a gift from her mother.

Flora would be walking without having a notice for what has and may be happening besides her. She's just walking, well, mindless, before someone bumped into her from behind. Flora stumbled and she quickly gripped onto the wall besides her. Such a coincidence that every time someone bumps into her, she's saved by the wall. Hopefully though, this time nothing bad would happen. The Slytherin turned around to face the other girl. Why, at least they had more manners than the first guy she met, but that's not the point. They seemed to be in quite a hurry right now, looking for something and gathering up all her things.

"No, no, it's alright. Apologies for not noticing you sooner," Flora apologized too- Despite how she wouldn't be able to see who's coming from the back and who's not. Crouching down, she quickly started to help the other sort out their things. She slowly zoomed out back into her own thoughts, though. Thinking off a bunch of different stuff. Fortunately, the other broke the silence and helped her zoom back.

"Let me try and help you find it," Flora spoke up as she glanced around, scanning the ground. A white music box that looks like a tiny piano, decorated with tiny colourful flowers on top. That should be easy to find, perhaps? After all, the ground is darker coloured. Looking over to the flicks and groups of students, she spotted something white at the far end of the hall, the exact opposite side. As it's small, she can't really make out if that's the thing the other student is looking for, so Flora squinted a bit to look better. Although she can make out the fainter edge of different colored dotted on top, she still can't be sure.

"Is it that?" Flora pointed at it, before starting to scramble up to her feet again to go and try to get it through the students.

Pandora looked where the girl was pointing. There was something white. Her heart began to pound. She was going to get it when Pandora saw the girl rise.

"God thank you. That means so much to me."

She quickly cleaned the lid of the jukebox and turned the cord to see if it worked. She was relieved when she heard a soft lullaby piano sound. It was working. Pandora was delighted. She carefully put it in her bag and turned to the girl.

She had chocolate brown hair and black eyes. Judging by her robes, he couldn't help thinking she was Slytherin. She realized that she still didn't know the girl's name. So she extended her hand and began to speak.

"By the way, I'm Pandora. Pandora Smith. My friends call me Dora, she's short and pretty. But don't say Pan, please. What is your name? By the way, thank you again."

Okay, she was admitting that she talked too much, but sometimes she couldn't help herself.

"What's the Slytherin common room like? Is it beautiful? Or is it dark? Do you like the dark? Reminds me of the night Night or day?"

She just couldn't control himself. And because she talked so much, she stopped to catch his breath.

A great day it had been, no trouble for once, great classes and all that stuff. The day wasn't technically over but making it to late afternoon almost confirmed it was a successful day. The next class was soon but he thought he had a bit of time to stall so instead of rushing, he leisurely strolled through the corridors.

Spotting a familiar figure ahead, he briskly walked over to it. He was glad to see it was a friendly face, Pandora. He'd gotten a good friendship with her already and it was a pleasure seeing her. He quickly stopped on his heels, just avoiding running into her because he was caught up in his thoughts.

"Whoooops!" He called out, grabbing her shoulders lightly to stabilize himself. As soon as he was done being dizzy, he brushed himself on and gave a cheeky grin to her. "That was not intentional, I promise. What're you doin' here in the middle of the corridors?" He raised his hand in greeting.

It was just then he realized another person was there. He looked over and saw a Slytherin girl. Not just any though, no he couldn't forget. "What're you doing here? Not bothering her I hope." He jeered, obviously unpleased to see her.

Flora walked over to the group silently, dodging people from left to right, maneuvering across the flocks until she reached the white thing— It sure is a jukebox that fits the descriptions. Taking it back, she handed it to Pandora with a smiling face, quite pleased to be able to help others. Seeing that the other girl, who she’d assume as a Ravenclaw due to her robed, being happy, the Slytherin’s happy too. Hardly had she been able to help others.

“It’s no problem,” Flora answered softly, also extending her hand to shake with her. “The name’s Flora Harrison. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Pandora.” Judging by how they’re not close, the first-year decided to speak with her name and not the nickname for now.

“I would say the Slytherin common room is indeed, beautifully decorated.” Flora answered Pandora as she looked around at the students, and spotted someone coming their way, but she didn’t minded. “Of course though, it sure is darker than expected, and I do wish there were more lights to light up the place.”

Before Flora can ask back some questions too, though, the one that she saw from the distance came and stumbled upon Pandora. She gazed at the boy and her eyes almost widened at the sight of him; That awful guy, perhaps, as she remembered. Despite of that, Flora showed no emotions and no nothing as he said cheerfully a hello to Pandora. They seemed… Close. But the fact that the boy turned all mockingly after seeing her made her quite unpleasant.

“Obviously not.” She answered coolly to the Gryffindor as she get her things all ready again, and turned over to Pandora with a polite, yet apologizing smile. “Apologies, but I shall take my leave now, as I still have classes to attend to soon.” She gave no attention to the other boy, ignoring him a bit. It’s not mannered, but she can’t stand him jeering at her and mocking and all that, it gives her headaches. Since they’re friends, why don’t she leave them alone then? Not that they’ll probably care, she’d suppose. Pandora has that guy to help her now.

“Perhaps we’ll meet again soon?” Floraasked, not daring to just walk away.

Pandora smiled. She thought this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Okay, it had been a strange start, but it's gotten better now.

"I can pretty much guess. My mom told me the common room was in the dungeons. It's pretty dark in there. I think it makes the Slytherin common room look a bit cool
But if it's that dark like you said, it would be better if it was a little brighter."

After saying that, Pandora felt someone gently grab her by the shoulders. She looked and saw that it was Gabriel, one of her closest friends. Pandora felt her face turn slightly red. It was a very strange scene. When Gabriel broke up with her, Pandora had been able to pull herself together.

"It's okay, I'm just surprised it was a bit sudden. You're okay, right?"

Pandora looked at both of them. They seemed to know each other. She was about to say something when she saw Flora packing her things. Was she going to go?

"It doesn't matter. I'll be leaving in a moment anyway."

She said this with a smile, but inside he was saying that Flora was using the class as an excuse. But she didn't say that.

"Something tells me we'll meet again, Flora. let's give you good lessons"

Seeing Flora leaving, Pandora quickly turned to Gabriel. She asked curiously. "What happened so badly between you and Flora?"

"I'm fine, thanks Dora." He muttered, still glaring at the girl. Gabriel didn't know why, but the thought of Pandora talking to her was horrible. He wanted this unpleasant, snarky girl to be as far away from them as possible. He retracted his angry look as she mentioned leaving to another class. He knew he was the reason she was leaving, which resulted in a suppressed grin across his face.

"Good you're leaving. I daresay no one wants you here anyways." He smirked, gaining pleasure in provoking her.

As the Slytherin girl made her leave, it was obvious Pandora was confused. No one else saw what happened on the train. He took a minute to breath, knowing she was gone. "Sorry, she's just.. what's the word? A prat." He replied slowly. The bit of shame rested in his chest, knowing it was technically his fault they'd became unfriendly with each other. He wouldn't admit it or backdown though, once it happened it couldn't be undone.

"Are you alright? Bumped into you, did she?" He then checked on Pandora, wondering the reason he'd stumbled upon the two talking as if friends. The girl was trouble and would cause nothing but unpleasantness to all. Gabriel would hate to see that happen to Pandora.

"Admittedly, my opinion of her may be biased, but she's someone to stay away from. I won't be mad if you don't though."

"How do you know you're stupid?"

Pandora asked a little coldly. Her curiosity outweighed her desire to protect her friend. Ok Gabriel was her friend too but... she don't know.

"Bumped? No. She didn't bumped me."

She was offended by this conversation. But she tried not to show it. It was obvious that something bad had happened between Flora and Gabriel. But she didn't want to get into this.

"Come on, that's what you must have thought of me when we first met. Give Flora another chance. But I don't know if something that bad happened between you."

Yes, Pandora realized she was involved, even if she didn't want to. But she had something else on his mind. Gabriel was his friend, but it was strange that he cared so much. Or she was thinking too much.

"Were you going to class? Which lesson? My lesson is Defense Against the Dark Arts"

It was clear that he was trying to change the subject. She didn't know what to say. She was a little full of energy and a little different.

""Anyway, class is about to start. See you soon."

She kissed Gabriel on the cheek with a sudden movement.

"I'm not stupid, she is." He muttered grumpily. He'd hoped Pandora would take his side in this but they were friends now too. It would be odd to see them together but he'd get used to it.

"Oh well, she's prone to bumping into people. If she were here right now, I'd send the stupid Flipendo jinx on her, see how she likes it!" He exclaimed a bit too dramatically. It was kind of pleasant to have someone to take his anger out on, but he wasn't actually the type of person to do that.

The topic of his new bound enemy had started to bore him, plus he could tell Dora wasn't happy with what he was saying either. He tried to brush it off. "Listen, me and her can't "start over". What happened is different than what happened with me and you, you're different. Better." The thought of their first meeting crossed his mind. Boy had it made him mad at first, but thinking back on it made him laugh. "I regret meeting her, but not you for a second." He said quickly, wanting to compliment her but not knowing how to.

Classes. God how did he forget about his next class, it was going to start soon. He grumbled and rolled his head back. "I don't want to go; I'm going to cut class this time." He stated in a matter-of-fact way. It was a quick decision, but he wanted nothing more than to go sleep.

He smiled sweetly after a swift kiss on the cheek. It wasn't their first, so his face wasn't nearly as red this time.
