Traveling to the Castle
Surely there was no mystery greater than the Castle that lay before them. How in the world did they manage to keep such a large, magnificent building out of the muggle limelight? Of course there would have to be magic involved, but it still did not make any sense that muggles would simply ignore such an obviously large area of seeming nothingness.
With every company on the planet fighting for limited space and resources, you would think that there had been a plan or two or seven to bulldoze the whole forest that Hogwarts appeared to be and convert it to factories or condominium-style housing. Jordan just couldn't wrap their head around such a large area being ignored. Then, you add in the entire town of Hogsmeade as well, as if Hogwarts and its grounds weren't enough. Further, the train tracks leading all the way out to Hogsmeade and Hogwarts as well. It really just seemed like someone had dropped the ball in muggle world. That or some seriously powerful magic was working to pull all of this off.
Jordan let these thoughts carry them forward in the sea of first-years who were making their way to the many boats laid out on the glorious lake before them. They saw one was still fully unoccupied, and decided to hop in - making it the choice of the next person whether they would sit together on this trek or not.
