A Birthday To Remember Late Backdated

Backdate: January 1st, 2023

Muggles have this saying called 'Fashionably Late', it describes Azrael at this moment as they are practically running/walking to get to the ballroom in time already being 10 minutes late. Don't blame them for wanting to look good.

Azrael looks more eye-catching than usual, their hair is in loose ringlets that now fall down to their waist and in addition to their new hairdo, they have temporary blonde highlights that will most likely last for two days. Their hairstyle frames their face very well and draws attention to their facial features.

They are wearing a sparkly pastel blue tulle gown that somewhat hovers over the floor. The one thing that will catch the eye of others is that the dress has blue butterflies, one would say that it's extra but Azrael says 'Go big or go home'. They heard the saying from Aunt Kathy when they were 7, it has been their moto ever since. They have on plain but noticeable pastel blue heels.

Azrael has on some makeup to make their cheekbones more defined put together with mascara. Their makeup looks professionally put on although, Azrael was the one who did it just to see what muggles find appealing about putting random products on their faces. It is very very appealing.

As Azrael power-walked to the door that leads to the ballroom, their younger siblings run towards them being late like Azrael. "Hello sis, don't you look fetching.", they say in unison obviously attempting to scare their older sister. It is very creepy but Azrael is practically immune to their games.

"There's my Troubling trio, I hope you're not causing trouble on my birthday.", Azrael says mimicking an upset tone with hidden amusement.

"Why would we do such a thing Azzy?", Emerald says innocently but Azrael isn't fooled as the triplets only call them Azzy when they lie. "Let's get inside evil geniuses.", Azrael says in a hurried tone. Azrael walks in 5 minutes after the triplets to avoid suspicion of mischief.

Azrael walked in with the grace an Angel would be jealous of, looking over at their parents they seen smiles and pride on their faces.

Azrael danced and 'socialized' As Alice put it with 'friends' and family until it was time to thank the guests and make their speech. Azrael is nervous but very optimistic about their speech.

"Friends, family, and distinguished guests, I am very happy you were able to make it to one of the most important moments of my life. While I am grateful for the gifts, I must say the real gift is, seeing everyone come together to celebrate my birthday. I hope you enjoy the rest of the celebration and please don't take any souvenirs from the venue.", Azrael spoke with happiness.

The last part of the speech was directed at the triplets. Azrael continued to celebrate and spend time with family and friends.

Azrael is happy that they were able to put aside their worries for one long but worth it day.
