Happy Epiphany!!

Happy Epiphany guys!!

Hey everyone
I just found this and I want to share about a dream god sent me to help me through hard times. I know that it sounds crazy, yes, but I truly believe it was god. Keep in mind that my seven year old brain probably muddled some of the details. This dream happened shortly after my dad passed away

What happens in the dream starts as a normal dream(ish) then I end up going into a grocery store with him. He buys me a treat and as we’re about to leave I tell him that I miss him and I want him to come back. He then tells me that as long as I remember him, he’ll be in my heart.

It sounds like a crazy dream, and maybe I came up with it, but it definitely helped me through the struggles of missing a family member.

For those curious, the dream starts with me playing hide and seek with monsters…

One thing I’ve noticed lately is the feeling of happiness or peace I have after I receive communion or attend mass. Something I didn’t feel a few years ago, even months ago, I am now aware of.
So I encourage Anyone who is reading this, if you aren’t already, start going to mass and daily mass- Christ will make a difference in you life. You might have to be patient, but it will happen.

I've noted the same and I'm glad you're feeling that way when you're still quite young Bailey!

I've wanted to go back, and did just before covid, but the results of that kind of keep me away from crowds.

So i watch on youtube or listen on the rafio. Not the same, though!

It is truly amazing how available it is, online or on the radio, but being in person truly hits different. Leaves me feeling serene, calm, and relaxed. It’s like taking a deep breath and starting the day over on a better note every time I leave church

I went to daily mass today, and something the priest said during his homily struck and cord, and I just want to share.
He was talking about how physical miracles were so impressive, and how the cleaning of your soul in the sacrament of Penance was shamed or called blasphemous.
Also, he said that we all should, him included, allow ourselves to be in ‘awe’ of God, and allow ourselves to feel thankfulness for all of His miracles, and especially for the sacraments.
