Thank you! It did reach me well, it is no worries, I left quickly after you did, I wanted to do the trials but I did not really understand a lot of their instructions, if I had went with you, maybe you could have helped, oh well.

I am glad to hear there was no disaster after my exit, I do not know truly what events are typically like in Hogwarts, but news does travel and I have heard a little bit from my mothers what their friends children that attend your school have been through. I hope you have been safe.

I do not know if you could go so far to move to France, Beauxbatons is nice yes, I do love my school, but it is nothing like Hogwarts. And you would struggle without speaking french, although I suppose I would be the same in the other circumstance. My English is only just good enough to get by, even writing this I have a dictionary next to me.

No need to thank me for being with you at the ball, it was my pleasure, I would like to accompany you at a future event if our paths cross.

Dear Milo,

First of all, sorry for the delay in responding. It has been a little bit busy getting ready as the term is ending. I cannot believe it is almost summer, though. Will you be going to the summer camp in August?

Secondly, I wanted to also apologise for not taking you with me to the trials! We should have gone together, so I could have explained the tasks. I forgot that the language barrier might make it difficult for you and for that, I am truly sorry.

Hogwarts has been the same as usual, thus far. I am well though. Perhaps even better than well. I think things are looking up, in fact. Maybe there is hope yet. I suppose you're right about the moving part though. I can't quite imagine trying to learn magic in a different language and my knowledge of French is pretty limited. Maybe you could teach me a few phrases though?

I certainly hope our paths cross again.

Dear Serena,

It is no problem with the delay, I am sure you are very busy. I will be at the summer camp yes, I like the holiday that is coming to Hogwarts, it gives me a break from my normal duties at Beauxbatons. I am glad to see you will also be at the camp.

I have been trying my best to learn better English, but I have to say, your language is very hard. Your nouns do not have genders, I have to get my head around that, and you have so many rules that you do not follow, but it is okay I guess.

I would be happy to teach you some french, although I am unsure as to what you would like to learn. If you let me know, I can figure out what it is I should teach you.

I will be happy to see you at the summer camp.

Dear Milo,

I am very pleased to hear from you - and that you will be at camp, I look forward to seeing you there. English is a pain. Though, I think the lack of gender in our nouns makes them easier! I get confused by French, trying to figure out what is feminine and what is masculine and more than that, why they are that way.

English is weird too, though. Yours is very good, however. I'm impressed you can also speak multiple languages. My Punjabi - which is technically my mother tongue - is really rough.

I suppose I would like to learn some basic phrases like - hi, how are you, it's good to see you - or something? Things I can use in conversation a little.

Are you excited for camp? I heard it is going to be in Hogwarts again this year, so I can show you around the area sometime, if you want. There are usually a bunch of fun activities too. Not sure if you have been to a summer camp before, but I think it will probably be held on the grounds somewhere - which is where you stayed during your last visit anyway, I believe.

It probably does make it easier, it is just something I have to remember, that you do not have to change "the" and other words like that to suit the gender. Honestly I do not know the reason why it is that way, I may have to look into that.

That is a shame that you are lacking in your ability to speak your mother tongue. I do not think I have heard anybody speak Punjabi before, you may have to speak some the next time we meet.

It is a bit hard to try and teach a language through owl, since pronunciation in french is quite different to how it is written, perhaps in the future when we meet I will be able to teach you. Although I found out that there is an English translation to my send off. "Cordially yours", I think that sounds a lot sweeter in English than in french, "vous" in french is the formal form of you but english does not have that difference.

Yes I am very excited! It seems as though your school hosts many things, I would be delighted to show you around Beauxbatons, it is a shame you haven't had the chance to visit us yet. I would like to see more of your wonderful castle, when I visited before I mostly stayed by our cabins and occasionally the ground floor. From the stairs I saw briefly, am I to assume every Hogwarts student has amazing leg muscles? What is the phrase in English, you do not skip leg day?

It will be very fun to visit again.

Dear Milo,

I don't even know what I would say to you in Punjabi but I am sure I can try - remind me sometime! Or better yet, tell me what to say and I'll try and figure out what is actually correct.

I look forward to being taught French though. I think my pronunciation will be completely off but I'll try not to butcher your language. Cordially yours is a little formal here too but that is more because of the word 'cordially' than the 'yours'. Perhaps I should practice writing more formal letters - my mother would be very pleased.

Leg day is necessary to succeed at Hogwarts, that's for sure. I am sure that the stairs are part of the reason I have gotten more fit. They are a pain and yet, they are probably very good for exercise without actually exercising.

I probably won't get a chance to reply before camp but I'll see you there! If we get a chance to go inside then I'll be sure to show you around. Previously, we have been in the grounds though and don't do in but I'll show you what I can!

It is surprisingly difficult to figure out what I would like you to say, maybe that is our homework together, I can find out what to teach you in French, and you can figure out what to teach me in Punjabi?

Ah, I tend to sign off a bit formally as the only letters I wrote when I was a kid were to my older relatives and if I didn't write in the most formal French you have ever seen I fear they would have a heart attack.

I would worry that going up and down so many steps would make you late to class, especially if you had to go from the top to the bottom. Our main building only has 4 floors, still a lot of steps but you get used to that number.

Yes I shall see you at the summer camp!

Dear Milo,

I heard you were looking for me in the recent visit to Hogwarts. Are you okay? Were you hurt in everything that happened? I didn't think you were at the incident.

I don't really know why I'm writing this letter but I wanted to apologise for not being around. Before the ball, I was a little busy preparing for everything that happened then. We knew we had to confront Erin. It wasn't her fault, of course, but we knew about the whole hag situation that I'm sure you heard about or witnessed yourself if you were there.

I also just wanted to say that I am out of the hospital now and I'm okay. I'm just preparing for that to never happen again. Please take care of yourself.
