It seemed her stamina was on the lowest levels as her spell went completely off towards Delilah, who dodged it easily. So much for the last seconds of the duel.
She'd call it a tie, considering how much the birds had to heal themselves up. But the battle was one of the greatest she had ever had and definitely the most challenging.
"The treats are on us," she smiled towards the Ravenclaw team as the end of the duel was announced to be over, "This was honestly my favourite duel. Well fought." And she went over to the girls for the round of handshakes.
"Great job, Alec. You were great," she nodded to Alec with all sincerity once they were done with the handshaking. "To be honest, I haven't seen you this fierce during the practice, so honestly — well done." She hasn't seen such precision in spell-casting for quite a while.
They'll see each other soon over a glass of something warming and providing some decent consolation.
