Hogwarts After Hours 2.0
Would you like your character to front-page the school newspaper? Is there a dramatic plot or rumour that you would like to see incited through a tabloid? This is a revived Hogwarts After Hours with minor adjustments to better incorporate the HiO community. Rather than having players write their own material without the financial benefit of being on the team, this revival will serve as a "bank" to collect player submitted material such as rumours while a reporter drafts the prompt independently.
What can be submitted?
Any student-centric material that you would like for your character's peers to read or discover about them. It can be sensationalist rumours, confessions, or news—all in good fun. Submissions never close. Submissions can also be withdrawn at any time through owl or prior to a specific date through the form.
The Process:Rules:
- Fill out the form and owl it to the EiC. Once accepted, you will receive a notice by owl.
- Your submission will be filed away for a reporter to choose from during their work week. Do understand that this does not guarantee your submission will be selected "timely", in any particular order, or at all.
- The reporter will owl you and follow-up with progress on the draft. When completed, you will have a chance to read over and approve the draft before it is handed over to the editors and then published.
Please fill out the form below. The more detail, the better.
- Standard site rules apply; PG-13
- OOC (out-of-character) consent is required for all parties involved
- Submitted information must be strictly IC (in-character) and registered through Index
- No meta-gaming/your character knowing something they could not have known otherwise
- Inclusion of iNPCs is allowed, but the prompt must feature a Hogwarts PC (player character)
Names of character(s) involved: Remember to get OOC consent.
Plot, rumour, etc: Give us a rundown. What happened? When, where, who, why, how?
Collection: How could a reporter IC get this information? Gossip, anon submission, their own eyes? etc.
Interview: Are you willing to be interviewed by a reporter? Please state Yes or No.
Expiration: Is there a specific date by which you'd like to withdraw this submission if not chosen? This is not to rush the newspaper staff, but to prioritise and better work with your character's planned timeline.
Reporter note: Is there anything you would like the reporter to know while drafting your topic? This is the time to describe any limitations or OOC boundaries that you may have.ReducioCode: Select all

By submitting your tabloid plot, you consent to the following:
- Possible IC ramifications (fame, infamy) after publishing.
- Potential reporter anonymity (IC). Reporters have the option to OOC handle your submission without their IC student attached and instead use a dNPC Newspaper staff or pseudonym (e.g. T. Ruth).
Second student character of Ruby Cazares | Staff account: Taros Quintero | iNPC: Valeriy Viktorovna Reznikov
