I’m slowly returning to activity! Excited to be back with everyone!

Things may be a little slow for me, it's taking me some time to focus. I am here but posts will come slow for a bit, hectic real life stuff keeps happening to me...

Just found out that a really close family friend has passed. I will hardly be online for this reason.

Apologise for not working on replies for a relatively long time, have something going on in my real life and meanwhile have to deal with exams. I will be prioritising duelling and see if I can squeeze out time to do one or two replies this week, as it should approximately take me one more week to be back to normal. I apologise to you all

Just letting you guys know i may not be on the cite for a while. I may pop in here or there but i feel like i need a break. Apologies to anyone who im in a thread with.

Things are getting pretty busy in my life as of now so I will be responding to posts as soon as I have time. I’ll be back and responding in about 1-2 days.

To all whom may find it relevant:
I am currently on an indefinite hiatus. I apologize to all my current and former roleplay partners in advance. I am taking time to focus on my life irl, as a lot of unforeseen things have come up and I do not have the time to write as I used to in the past.

I'll be around for a bit and pop in from time to time to help graduate my current mentees before I can step down from my position and take a break from the site.

I will likely be back at some point though I can't promise when.

I'll be gone, no posts or replies, (sorry), from today, (January 4 2023) to February the First. I'm in the middle of writing a book and really feel that i need a month to my writing. If i'm... 'diligent', it should be finsished by march.

This is likely fairly obvious already to those who I've been RPing with, but I am taking a large step back from activity on hio. This isn't due to any crisis, but rather a higher demand to spend my free time improving my quality of life. I have several major projects I'm working on with my husband, including improving our home, creating our own RP world for future D&D games, and preparing to make our own content and products. While I love hio, the community surrounding it, and the possibilities of long-term RP stories, I don't have a desire to give it greater importance than my own ideas and work.

I still currently plan on remaining on site and discord regularly, participating in sports and clubs, and RPing to a diminished degree. I don't plan on creating any major longterm plots nor participating in any multi-thread arcs. I would like to continue writing Flash's summer stories to a satisfying conclusion, and to have him help other people's stories and development when possible, but nothing as time-consuming as I've previously done. I would like to encourage anyone who has future plans with me to reach out if they would like to organically dial back the interactions with Flash, or quietly end longterm plans in a logical way. If you are alright with a sleepy pace of interaction and more casual threads, that's great too. I don't plan on abandoning any currently running threads.

@Eun-ji Lee Hunt I am more than happy to continue the growth of Eun-ji and Flash's relationship, but I want to give you the opportunity to find someone more suited or active to interact with. If you don't mind having only a few threads per year, I am down to discuss specifics
@Edme Achillian We only just started the plot to connect our families for drama, and as I do intend to continue Flash's family plot if possible, I will gladly still include you if you're interested. If the slow pace sounds difficult to deal with, we can also write off this plot point fairly easily since we are only in the opening stages
@Xailah Alptraum I still intend to help with the Self-Defense Club! Games and moderation is one of the few things I plan on keeping up with

As for Hexwizard, the staff and team have already been made aware that I will be stepping down as the Durmstrang Champion. They were given ample time to prepare and there should eventually be an announcement about who will become the next champion. Yefim will still be around, but there is likely not going to be much major development, and he will become more of a background character in other people's stories.
