Just A Normal Night
Date: December 21st 10pmMentioning: @Pandora SmithLaying in his bed, Gabe found himself watching the time. He'd been laying here for about half an hour, though not tired since he took a nap earlier. He didn't bother to change into different clothes, he was comfortable in what he was wearing already. No matter how much he purposefully did something he wasn't supposed to, he always had that adrenaline rush. He carefully put a magical Christmas bulb decoration and magical candle in his bag. When he saw the clock turn 10, he grabbed his bag which he hadn't unpacked, then snuck out the common room door. He quietly crept down the stairs to the library and entered.
Looking around, the coast was clear, and Pandora was not there yet. He went to the same table and plopped his stuff down. They didn't discuss where they'd meet but he assumed she'd know. Assuming Pandora would ACTUALLY be doing homework this time, he decided to find something not divide half his attention to while she did. He had absolutely no motivation to do work now. He went to the shelves, forgetting where he shoved the book he was reading earlier. A couple minutes went by, and he found it. He went back to the table quietly.
He put the book down before grabbing in his bag and taking out the candle. It was now in mid-air and lit. It looked magical, well that's because it was. Only a small part of the room was engulfed in the light of the flame, but it looked nice. He waited for a bit before he heard footsteps and greeted a figure in the distance.

Just A Normal Night
Pandora just lay in the dormitory. She was constantly looking at the clock, occasionally looking at her bunny lying in her own bed. Seeing that the hour was approaching, she went to her bag and put a candle, some sweets, and her inspiration book in it, apart from her belongings.
She left the dormitory and went to the common room. From there he went to the corridor. Her heart was pounding. Normally she would go to the woods at night, hidden from her family, and it had never been like this.
When she reached the library door, she took a deep breath and broke out of her thoughts and entered the library.
She looked around. It felt so good to be empty and quiet in the library. Her eyes searched for Gabriel. When she saw that a small part of the library was lit, she went there with joy.
"Hello Mr. Palmer. What a beautiful night isn't it? Didn't you miss me? "
She sat down at the table and took out his things. Because she brought a candle, she lit it too. Things got a little brighter. Pandora thought I should start a conversation.
"Uhm.. How are you? "
She left the dormitory and went to the common room. From there he went to the corridor. Her heart was pounding. Normally she would go to the woods at night, hidden from her family, and it had never been like this.

Mentioning: @Pandora SmithHe smiled at the figure, which was obviously just Pandora. "Nice of you to join me." He said sarcastically, as if she wasn't planning on coming. He smiled at her comment, it was like they shared thoughts.
"It indeed is a very good night, beautiful as you said." His eyes flickered to hers and he raised an eyebrow. "Course I did, not too much though, it has only been three hours" He winked and said about the fact of missing her.
He gazed curiously as she reached for something in her bag and his eyes lit up with joy when he saw that she also had brought a candle. Now another small part of the room was lit up.
"Looks like we really do share the same thoughts, thought this candle would be helpful, especially if you're actually going to get work done today." He said grinning, emphasizing the part of her getting work done.
Before doing anything, Pandora had started a conversation. "I'm good, thanks. Tired but what other night better to stay up late then today?" He replied casually. Talking with her felt awkward sometimes but it was worth it.
"I'm assuming you're not tired since you slept a bit earlier today." He mocked, teasing her for somehow falling asleep earlier. "I can't believe you came to do homework but fell asleep."

Pandora felt awkward when she met Gabriel's eye contact. She heard his heart speed up. When she heard that she missed him, she was suddenly filled with joy. Okay, she didn't say she missed her, but she did show it. Okay, she wasn't going to lie, her ears were a little red.
"Everything can be done in 3 hours. But I will be frank, I spent those 3 hours lying down and questioning life. "
She couldn't help herself and went into too much detail again, which made her blush. Recovered right away.
"It's nice to be friends with someone who has the same ideas. If we're going to do something, we have to do it right."
For some reason he thought he was overreacting. Maybe he was thinking too much. After all, Gabriel was just a friend. And normally she wouldn't think this hard about words.
"I don't know if I'm actually sleeping, but I feel very energetic and different. I'm happy, oh my God is a different happiness. You know, when the little ones get the toys they want, they'll be happy. I'm like him now.
Pandora wanted to start by looking at the history of Magic, which she had never been able to do. She opened the necessary books. She started looking. She had spoken too much again, but this time there was something different.
"So what do you think about love?'
She had asked so quickly and unexpectedly that even she was taken aback. Thinking about this, she felt herself blush a little.

Just A Normal Night
Mentioning: @Pandora SmithFrom what was a casual conversation quickly turned more...interesting to say the least. Gabriel was certainly very taken aback by the question about love. He thought it weird to be asked this, but he didn't mind. He tried his best to keep a straight face.
What did love mean to him? Love is a complicated feeling. A 12-year-old wouldn't know that well how it really was. True love meant you would never dream of hurting them. You get that warm feeling when you were with them and would do anything for them. He also knew that "love" wasn't always easy. Thinking about this made his head spin.
Thinking hard and careful of his words, he replied slowly. "I guess, love is good. Great for some, bad for others. Even if things don't work out, you know someone cared for you. It's complex, I'm not sure how to explain it." He smiled at her, hoping his face wasn't red from this talk.
"When I think of love, I think of couple wrapped in each other's arms, with genuine happiness in their eyes. Some people don't want this kind of love because they're afraid of the future." He took a long time with this response. He wasn't sure why he was saying this stuff, he would surely say it no one else. He cringed at what he was saying himself, but it was an honest answer.
"What about you, what do you think about it?" He quickly said, trying to deflect it off himself. He had no idea why he was asking, or how this conversation even started but here we are.

She was surprised when the question posed to him. She had never thought about love. But for him it was something different. She had never been in love so he didn't know what it felt like.
"Love is crazy enough to change a person, I think. It changes your life."
She looked at Gabriel. She had a hard time finding words. It felt different. Perhaps their ideas were different.
"I think love is both the most beautiful thing and the most painful thing in the world. As you said, the first thing that comes to my mind is people holding hands."
Okay, she lied in the last part. She remembered why she had come here and brought a candle near him. she focused on her lesson.
"Why do wild cats start a strike? Is it because they're wild? Normal cats sleep, eat, sleep again, I don't know if it's different here."
Yes, she had just asked that. But really, she only thought of wild kittens. And she had just realized that this question was absurd.
"Do you have an animal? Or which animal would you like to have?"
Pandora couldn't remember asking that question. The thought made her ears turn slightly red.

Mentioning: @Pandora SmithLike Gabriel, Pandora seemed to have trouble explaining love. He was relieved when she took a bit to answer, meaning she also wasn't sure how to word it. I mean, what 12-year-old would? He listened carefully as she explained her answer, but he could tell she was lying about part of it. Maybe they did have different views on it.
It didn't matter though; the topic was weird enough for the both of them that Dora started working on her work. He started fidgeting around in his chair, wishing it was one of those spinney kinds. This was boring. "I don't know why someone would want to teach the thing you're working on, so boring." He said after his question of cats.
"Animals? I love them!" He exclaimed, loving the change of conversation. He'd always loved animals since he was little, and even had one of his own. He loved animals so much he wanted to become an animagus. "I had a cat at home, loved her more than anything. She was the most adorable cat ever. Though if I had a choice of my own pet, I'd get an owl. I've always wanted one, in fact I'm saving up for one now!" He grinned, thinking of buying his own owl soon. He was close to his goal, and he could imagine how own happiness when he got one. "I really like anything that flys especially."
He laid back in his chair, his head drooping over the chair, giving him a clear view of the "restricted section". He quickly shot up, turning his whole body towards it. "How cool. I'm getting in there one day, how could I not?" The word restricted was practically waiting for more people to break into it. He'd check it out more if Pandora wasn't trying to get work done. he didn't want to get them both kicked out. Sinking back into his chair, he watched her work. "Hey, I didn't ask you yet, but do you have an animal you want?"

"I hope you get the owl. I have a little and pretty naughty bunny for me. But she sleeps because it is night. "
Pandora smiled involuntarily at the thought of her rabbit. I guess her rabbit wasn't just getting in trouble while she was sleeping.
When she had barely finished her history of magic homework, Pandora sighed and rose from her chair with delight.
"Finally my homework is done. Easy potions assignment. I'll finish fast."
She can't stand it and hugs Gabriel with a sudden movement. When she relaxes, she realizes what he is doing and leaves quickly. Thanks to this sudden movement, she turns her back because her face turns red.
"I'm very sorry. Believe me, I didn't hug on purpose, something happened with a sudden excitement. I'm just excited."
She spoke very fast and stuttered from time to time. She couldn't understand why this was so. It's never been like this. She thought if I should go.
Thinking her potions homework would be easy, she quickly gathered her things and left the library, leaving the candle there.
She came into the dormitory out of breath. She thought, stroking Tia, who was at her bedside. Did she react too much? Why had she acted like this?

Just A Normal Night
Mentioning: @Pandora Smith"Bunnies are adorable, you are lucky to have one." He awed. Personally, he knew rabbits weren't his favorite nor would he own one, but he had to admit he adored their soft tail and cute eyes. He could tell Dora also loved her rabbit, he smiled at the thought of it sitting in her lap. They sat quietly for a minute while Pandora finished her homework, until hours seemed to pass. He sighed of boredom when she finally finished, and he started taking out his bag at the sound of potions homework.
Suddenly, he felt arms lightly wrap around him. Almost as soon as it happened, the arms withdrew. He turned around to see Pandora turning around, speaking rapidly. He dropped his bag and rose from the chair, trying to calm her down.
"It's quite alright! I understand, don't apologize." He barely got the words out before she kept rambling on apologies. She was still not facing him, why was she acting this way? Had he done something wrong? He tried to approach her closer, putting his hand on her shoulder. She quickly ignored his attempt to make this situation normal, quickly packing up her stuff.
"Wait, where are you going? Did I do something wrong? Please stay Dora, c'mon!" He stammered, staring at her with an aghast expression. He was completely stunned at her change of behavior. He held his hand out and started walking towards her as she briskly walked towards the exit. He stopped and put his hand down as she went out of site.
He stood there for a moment, as if paralyzed with his mouth wide open. After a moment, he slowly walked back to his stuff and packed it up. He put out the candles, getting rid of the light so it was pitch dark. He walked to the exit shaking his head. Girls
