It was the evening of her fifth birthday, and she was in her room playing with her toys. Suddenly, her siblings ( abigail and callum ) barged in and started throwing everything around to annoy her. She was so angry that she starting screaming at them, and everything they had messed up and everything else hovered in the air. Callum—who had not yet had his first magical instance—was horrid and upset, while Abigail was overjoyed. She had bragged to their parents that she was the reason this magical instance occurred, and tried to claim all of the spotlight.

Diana Hawthorne was born into a rich, pure blooded family. Her mother and father were popular citizens in the wizard of community, both having respectable roles. Her mother was a top level auror, while her father was a retired quidditch player. Until Diana was three years old she lived in France with her Aunt, because her parents couldn't afford her at the time, as they were young and only starting their new jobs. Her aunt raised her warmly, though she has no family. In fact, her aunt was a squib, so she was disowned from her family. When Diana turned three years old, her family surprised her by bringing her home. as they finally had security in their jobs and were becoming richer and popular. Diana didn't find out until much later on when she was around 9 years old that the only reason that her parents had enough money to start off and support her was that her grandmother ( the grandmother on her mother's side of the family that she's never met ) passed away and gave all her inheritance to Diana's mother. With this newfound money, Diana's parents took risks by applying to their jobs (Auror, quidditch player ), and with the help of some of their money, they finally found success. Her parents did not become fully rich until Diana was 8, and where only middle class until then. For these reasons as well as her family's unrational discrimination against muggles, Diana has never been particularly close or loving towards her family. She has two older siblings named Abigail and Callum Hawthorne, and just as she was leaving for hogwarts, her mother gave birth to their youngest sibling named Bonnie Hawthorne. Abigail has always been the star of the family being the oldest and most well achieved. Meanwhile, Callum has been their grandparents favourite because of their old mindsets. As a result, this has left Diana feeling neglected by them, and she is much closer with her aunt. Apart from her relashinships with her family members, Diana is a mischievous girl. She has never been in favor of rules and has even started anonymous petitions to dress codes and other codes of conduct at her old schools. No one knows, though, because she is very careful about what she does. She was generally popular at her old school, being friends with half of her grade at least. But, she prefers to have only a few close friends to whom she truly opens up too. She is more of an athletic person than an academically motivated person, but besides school, she loves reading and writing. She simply feels that school takes the fun out of these things. Finally, Diana has also taken an interest to art—specifically sketching. Overall, she is an extroverted, creative girl, and loves the spotlight at all times, as it puts no pressure on her.
