Haven sighed and walked into the dirty lavatory. She saw the mold, the rust. It bugged her a bit. She wasn’t used to abandoned places. She avoided them, actually. She was scared of old places. But, Haven, being who she is. Walked inside anyway. To face her fear she had challenged herself to go in for a good two and a half hours. The thought that there was a ghost named, Moaning… Myrtle? She heard about her quite often from her father. She remembered her father talking about how Moaning Myrtle was very annoying. Haven, however, didn’t care in the slightest. She knew that it was not nice to judge people in a way that could harm them mentally. Returning to reality, she brushed one of the sinks dirty rims and faced the mirror. It seemed dusty and unused. Though, if Moaning Myrtle is real, she probably uses this mirror all the time. To think that she saw the greatest witches and wizards and she hasn’t appeared to show or tell a single soul. She, somehow, kept quiet and never took the time to interact with anyone? Haven wondered how she died. She shrugged and looked around, actually hoping to see someone. Or even a rat or mouse.

Maggie sprinted down the hallway with her heart in her throat. Suddenly she saw the lavatory and ran inside it. She slammed the door shut and hurried into a stall. How stupid it was of her to get into an argument with a girl that had serious anger issues. It ended with Maggie having to hide from her. With her luck, this was no surprise. She groaned at her own stupidity and sat down on the floor. Bored, she started fingering with her wand. Suddenly it shot a spark of stars out of the tip. Maggie yelped in surprise and held the wand away from her body.

The door to the lavatory opened and Maggie cursed under her breath. Was the girl with anger issues back? Carefully she peeked out of the stall and saw a girl looking around. Thankfully it was someone else. This girl was smaller and had blonde hair with blue dyed tips, not black hair. "Hello," Maggie spoke up. She smiled to the other girl. Slowly she got out of the stall. ”What’s your name?” Maggie asked her. She hoped the girl would be nice and friendly. Filled with hope for a new friend, she waited for the answer.

Dora turns the page of her textbook as she walks down the hall, still careful to use her peripheral vision not to bump into anyone. Walking cuts into her reading time, so she tries to multitask. And with how crowded the common room and library were, moving to a new study spot was necessary. Having so many people around Dora is distracting, and she can't help but think everyone's eyes must be on her. She knows it's silly, but it disrupts her concentration. So, she decided to go to a bit of an unorthodox study room: The Abandoned Toilets.

She can't imagine why anyone would be in there, what with them being abandoned and all. Also, there's a little rumor about the toilets being haunted by the ghost of a former Hogwarts student, Moaning Myrtle. Dora didn't meet her when she was there before, so she reasons that Myrtle may not be there again, instead roaming other parts of the castle. In any case, dead company is better than living, and it's worth it to check.

But when Dora arrives, she's surprised to see two girls already in the decrepit lavatory. They look about her age, but seem to be from other houses. "Oh." Dora says quietly, gripping her textbook awkwardly. "I apologize, I didn't know there were others here. I can go." She begins to turn away, hoping neither girl pays her much mind.

Haven jumped at the sound of a person and immediately turned around. She saw a girl who looked out of breath. Her tense body become loose and she relaxed. As the question of her name came up she responded with, “My names Haven. Haven Lee. I’m a first year in Gryyindor, What’s your house?” She asked the other girl. She had her blue hoodie with her. As always. It was a light, cotton-blue and very oversized hoodie that looked worn out and dirty. It had some stains that couldn’t come off completely. Her thoughts floated back to her calico cat; Nickie. But he was at home. Sleeping. As always. Nickie was an indoor cat the she got from the pet store. She hadn’t told her mom and dad when she got him and when she came home with a kitten in hand her parents were obviously upset. “So, what are you doing here? Not everyone goes here often.” Haven asked… oh! She forgot to ask the girl her name. “What’s your name?” She asked, inching towards the girl. She had hated starting fights but loved ending them. She wasn’t easy to deal with, however. Haven hated being in trouble. She wondered, again, which house this girl was in. It was quite hard to tell considering that she had only just met this black haired girl.
