Flipendo. It wasn't the most imaginative of spells, nor the sneakiest of tactics, but sometimes brute force was all that was required to finish things. Both Hufflepuffs seemed to have the same thought and called out the spell, and when Lucia's spell hit time seemed to pause. Sophia flew backwards, tracing an arc through the air, until she hit the floor and moved no longer. Lucia hadn't won a duel for over a year. She'd almost forgotten what it felt like to still be standing, proud and tall, for her house as the moderator announced the victors. Hufflepuff. They'd done it. She and David had done it; they'd won this duel and come out of it with barely a scratch. Well, Lucia had at least. She hadn't been hit at all in the entire match, an incredible feat really, but David wasn't doing so well, as pointed out by Santario. "I will do. Thank you." She turned to David and grinned at him. "Well done!" Lucia offered David a hand to get off the piste, just in case he was a little unbalanced what with his injuries. "That was some brilliant duelling." Unless David told Lucia not to, she'd go with him to the Hospital Wing in search of burn cream.

Just like she had at the beginning of the duel, Sophia did nothing but stand around. Well, she also dodged the Flipendo I had cast on her, only to be hit my Lucia’s moments later and being sent flying off of her feet and onto the dueling piste where she would move no more. “Halt!” I heard Santario say before rushing onto the piste to check on the girl, and waving the medics over moments later. She then stood up, turned to Lucia and I, nodded, and turned towards the crowd of spectators before saying “Congratulations are to Hufflepuff! This was a well-fought duel on all sides.” She then turned to Lucia and said “Lucia, I would make sure David finds his way to the nurse; he will require some burn cream.” to which Lucia replied “I will do. Thank you.” And then, to the both of us, Santario said “Well fought, both of you.”

As Santario turned and left, Lucia turned and grinned at me. “Well done! That was some brilliant duelling.” She then stretched her hand out to me and I shook it before saying “Yeah, well, it was a team effort. And you did rather well yourself, especially during that one Flipendo where you knocked Sophia down on the ground really hard. Anyways, LET’S GO BABY!!! WE WON!!! I mean, yeah that duel was mostly a bunch of luck, but we won the duel Lucia! And we couldn’t’ve done that without you. Or without our opponents. You know, Santario said that this was a well fought duel from all sides, but if that was true, then personally, I think we would’ve lost, mainly because I suck at dueling. And if you want to say that I don’t, I lost both of my previous duels which makes this my first win. Anyways, wanna go down to the Hospital Wing now?”
