Closed Catch me if you can

Opeila watched Colin as he opened the chocolate frog, every movement seeming almost mathematically calculated. And then it jumped- right at her. Colin did the same. The older Slytherin leaned back as Colin landed a little too close for her taste, successfully catching the frog in his mouth, and applauded with a grin.

"Right!" Opeila reached to her left and picked up her cat. "I want to try again. Anyone want to hold this one, so he doesn't sabotage me again?" Loras, seemingly unprepared for suddenly being grabbed, meowed, his yellow eyes scanning the group.
Whoever took him in the end, Opeila would get off the bench and grab another chocolate frog for herself. Carefully she placed the box on the table and crouched down before it, so she was on the same level and prepared to jump as well.

Still grinning, she opened the lid of the box, her eyes fixated on the frog, that was clearly getting ready to leap out of it. When it did- right toward her- Opeila pushed herself up. Only somehow she didn't end up standing, instead she tripped and fell backwards on her butt. Something hit her head and the Slytherin quickly put her hands on it. "Got it!", she called out and giggled, feeling the chocolate frog still moving under her hands. Hopefully it wouldn't mess up her hair too much...

Tes happily returned Colin's friendly boop, waving at Rita as she joined them at the table. "Hi Riri! How've you been? I haven't seen you since this morning!" Tes smiled happily, greeting her dormmate before turning to the other girl that introduced herself, Hiya! It's nice to meet you Rina." Tes had a crawling feeling in the back of her mind about the girl, and her greeting seemed strange somehow. She must be shy around groups of strangers! Tes stomped down the remaining nagging feeling that something was off and instead laughed at Colin's attempt to catch the "froggo" as he called it.

She couldn't believe he would jump on all fours after a frog in the Great Hall! Actually, no, the more she thought about it, the more she could absolutely believe it. She laughed uproariously again as he caught it, shaking her head. "Nice catch! Although maybe keep your smelly feet away from the dinner table!" she joked, sticking out her tongue at him. She turned her attention to Kim, gasping in excitement and holding out her hands, "I would love that frog!" she caught it in both her hands, admiring the legless frog, and chomping down half of it in one bite happily. As she chewed she covered her mouth with her hand and asked, "You're Kim, right? Are you the Kim Bailey is friends with? She told me the two of you almost always have food on you and are in the same clubs! That must be fun."

She finished off the frog, eagerly stretching her arms out for the offered cat. "I've got him!" She cradled the cat in her arms laughing good naturedly as Opelia fell off her bench catching the frog, cheering as she still caught it. She offered back the cat, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself from her giggles before she'd decide which frog to try to catch herself.
