Sending A Letter Home

Robin left the Great Hall, still ecstatic about being in Ravenclaw. She had to write a letter home. Robin made her way to the library and took a seat. Pulling out paper and a quill, she began to write:

Dear Mother and Father,
I write to you to tell you great news. I was sorted into Ravenclaw. I am so excited and happy to apart of something. I haven't seen Elaine around, so I don't know her feelings towards this. I honestly don't wish to see her, you both know how I feel towards her. I miss home. I miss being with you, father. I'll always think about you both. I will continue to send letters every now and then, updating you both on events and such. So far, I've yet to do any studies. I'm still making my rounds, trying to figure out where I need to go and such. I've yet to make any friends, but I'm sure you'd like them. Send as soon as you can.

Robin reread the letter to make sure she left nothing out, and tucked it away. She made her way to the owlery and sighed. She really hoped her parents would receive this letter.

Unbeknownst to Robin, her sister Elaine had sent her an owl as well.

Dearest sister,
You really think its cute to be in Ravenclaw huh? What, so you could be closest to father? Of course. It's always about you. You never once thought about me have you? I heard you were almost housed in Slytherin. Oh the fun we could've had. Just know I'm watching you, little sister. Don't think you got out of this that quick.
