She tends to take a little bit to come out of her shell when she isn't with a safe person. She cares deeply about other people's well-being but her main focus is learning as much as she can. She is rarely seen without her worn-out copy of Pride and Prejudice, her favorite book. Reducio APPEARANCE Fiona is a slender young woman of average height. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, but sometimes her hair is more strawberry blonde if she feels like doing anything with it. She always tends to dress in pastel colors and she can be very girly with the things she likes to wear. Reducio HISTORY Fiona was the only child in her family. When she was nearly three years old, her father, a wizard, left. His reasoning, according to her mother, was that he was tired of waiting around for her mother to be home. Elise Kelly, a muggle woman, was a surgeon at the local hospital, so she worked really long hours and was very busy. When she was home, she tended to sleep more than anything else, leaving Fiona's father to do all of the work. Since he left, Fiona ended up pretty much raising herself, though she did have some help from the teachers she had in school. Fiona does not remember her own father. Even at a young age, Fiona had been very quiet. She only really spoke when spoken to, and preferred to spend her time alone instead of hanging out with other children her age. Despite the fact that she was very quiet, Fiona learned how to speak sooner than most infants, though her walking skills took longer to develop. She was always very intelligent, learning to read and write before the age of three, but this only added to her shyness as it set her apart from her peers. She grew up some but still stayed just as quiet and intelligent as ever. When Fiona was nine years old, she was sitting in the living room reading her favorite book when she noticed that the pages were turning for her without her actually moving her hand. She was amazed to see that she had the power to do such a thing, especially since she hadn't even been aware of doing it. She tried to do it on purpose afterward, but it didn't happen again that day. Her mom wasn't home, as per usual, but Fiona was sure that she had magic after that happened because her mother told her about her father's magical ability. She was a little frightened of having the ability to do magic since she hadn't grown up around it due to her dad leaving when she was three, but she was also very excited about it. When her mom came home from work, Fiona told her all about what had happened and her mom looked a little disappointed at first, but then hugged Fiona and smiled. Fiona assumed her mom had wanted her to be non-magical like her, but Elise still accepted Fiona for who she was.
