Dianna had her bin of food careful not to drop it. The sun was shining and the lake was glistening from the sun. She found a nice spot not to far from the lake, it had a four logs placed in a shape of a square. She looked up waiting on Clarke and Renae to catch up. "Hey I found a nice place." She smiled as the warmth of the sun hit her face. It had been a while since she felt the feeling of the sun since she been here. She always ended up indoors more than she intended to be. The sun made her think about the flowers at home.

"I wonder how moms doing." She mumbled. Thinking about her mom always put her an a happy mood. So with a smile she opened the bin of food on her lap and looked inside. It wasn't much since she could only recognized half of it. She took was going to try the other different food but didn't want to take any chances. Only things she had was Truffles, Soy chicken wings and a crab donut. It seemed good to her so why not? she wished she was in the kitchen making the food sometimes. Just in her on zone while flipping pancakes.

The red haired girl sat in the sun by the great lake, and saw a girl coming to where she was sitting, she probably didn't see her until she got there "Oh, sorry, I'll move." Verla stood up and began to walk away (and if stopped) then stopped. She turned around and saw her bowtruckle, Oliver, running behind her, since she must've not seen him run out of her hood and sit next to her.

Her blue eyes glistened as she looked behind her at the girl and her friends, she wished she had friends like her. It wasn't jealousy, just a mere wish that may or may not ever happen.

Verla hoped the girl would speak to her, and would invite her, but she wouldn't care if they did or not. She would have carried on with her book somewhere else. She closed it and stuffed it in her bag and decided to sit down not far from them. Then moved (if beckoned) closer and joined them.

Verla thought back to her family and paused for a bit where she was, they hadn't popped into her head for weeks, perhaps they really did miss her. She decided to write them a letter later.

Reane was approaching Dianna as she heard her say "Hey I found a nice place."   Renae smiled trying to get to Dianna a quick as possible without dropping her food. It was fairly nice outside. It was warm with a light breeze that was blowing Renae's hair to the side. She was trying to get some strands of her hair out of her face but the wind kept it there so she just dealt with it. Renae looked out at the lake and it was relaxing. It was relieving I guess Hogwarts got a bit overwhelming She thought.

Renae got to Dianna as she heard her mumble something but she was in a good mood. Renae sighed and sat down by Dianna and Renae opened her lunch bin. She had two sugar spice cookies, a ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato and some mayo, and and apple. She was excited to eat especially now that she has friends to enjoy lunch with. Renae looked over at Clarke and said "Slow poke!" as the two girls were waiting on him. While Renae was waiting she decided to take in the beautiful view of the glistening lake, the green trees, and colorful and lovely smelling flowers. She could not think of anything better to do at that moment.

Dianna didn't notice the girl until she examined her food. "Oh, sorry, I'll move." She heard the Hufflepuff say. "Hey!" she called out to her not wanting to make a bad impression. "You can sit with us if you want, I mean you were here first." She shrugged her shoulders. Her day couldn't get any better. Another person joining on in the group the more the merrier right? I guess you have not heard The less the best. She chuckled at her inside joke. Both Dianna and her mom had made that up when ever they would go the market to get some fruits.

Once she saw her sit down she couldn't help but wonder what book she was reading. So she decided to ask. "What book was that?" she asked while Renae was coming up. "Slow poke!" She heard Renae yell at Clarke. She shook her head at the two giving the new girl her attention. But before she could let the girl answer she gasped! "oh I'm sorry Dianna Michi at you service." She bowed with her arms wide open with a smile. The same way she introduced herself to Renae and Clarke. "How foolish of me to forget to introduce myself." She put her hand out for a handshake.

Clarke grinned at Renae when she called out to him and called him a slowpoke. He stopped where he was still a few yards from them and opened his arms and looked towards the sun. "I'm just enjoying the great out doors!" He said and started to spin around, once, twice, and thens topping before he got dizzy. He jogged the rest of his way over there after that and sat down with them.

When the other girl came to join them he smiled at her, "And I'm Clarke" he introduced himself, pointing towards the centre of his chest. He really was enjoying the outdoors like this, with the lake lapping at the shore just in front of them. It was calm that day but he knew the stories of what was hiding in them. His mom told him to be a little careful not to fall in because it culd be dangerous, but to also enjoy learning about all the magical creatures.

Because Clarke lived in a predominantly muggle town, where they had to be so concerned about hiding all the time, it really felt like a breath of fresh air to not have to hide it at all. The world around him was just like him, finally, and he didn't have to hide the accidental magic he may do, or even his wand or chocolate frog cards.

Renae smiled and looked at the apologizing girl and introduced herself "And I am Renae. Nice to meet you." She was excited to meet someone again. It is really adding up to be a good day.  She thought to herself What is next? She was intrigued and eager to know. Really good days do not miraculously happen on a regular basis for Renae but she has not been this happy in quite some time. She was quite amused and very impressed with her luck. Luck was rarely with her, she was never lucky since birth.

Renae softly chuckled and looked down at her lunch. She was deciding what to grab first. Sandwich, apple, cookies. Ooohh. So tough. She was growing indecisive But all three are so good. Why is it so difficult to choose? Renae sighed. I am so excited to eat though It was killing her. Okay, okay, I will just..Rearrange.. She shifted her food around and then stopped and closed her eyes and reached in her lunch box and mixed around Aannnnnddd let's seee whatt we get. Renae grabbed something and pulled it out and opened her eyes. Apple nice. She rubbed the apple on her robe and gladly took a bite of it.

"I'm Verla, nice to meet you all. I'm sorry if I'm ruining your lunch, I can go if you really want to spend time with each other. I don't want to intrude." Verla said and mainly kept her focus on Clarke, he is inexplicably cute. But she didn't want to ruin or say anything in case he was with one of the other girls or a girl that wasn't there. She smiled at all three of them brightly and and then gave a nervous chuckle as Clarke introduced him self, but she nodded and complimented him on his name. She really did like the name Clarke. It reminded her of Clarke Kent, aka Superman.

Her bowtruckle hopped out of her hood and onto her head and on all fours, he studied them, like he always did when Verla met new people. Her blue eyes glistened every time she looked at one of them, especially Clarke. When Dianna asked what book she'd been reading she said "it's a book I've been working on for about a year now, it's about a girl who comes to Hogwarts and meets a guy named Levi, and how heart broken she was when he went home, then she met someone she couldn't remember, all she could remember was that she met some one important to her. Then professors made her forget him, at least, at least I think that's what happened. I was just re-reading it over and make sure my grammar and punctuation and wording was correct, and spelling of course." She didn't brag about writing, but she loved it when people asked her about it.

"I'm Verla, nice to meet you all. I'm sorry if I'm ruining your lunch, I can go if you really want to spend time with each other. I don't want to intrude." Dianna smiled shaking her head. "No you aren't ruining everything." She noticed Verla was focusing on Clarke more. Dianna gave Renae a knowing look smirking. "Looks like someone have a crush." She whispered to Renae.

"it's a book I've been working on for about a year now, it's about a girl who comes to Hogwarts and meets a guy named Levi, and how heart broken she was when he went home, then she met someone she couldn't remember, all she could remember was that she met some one important to her. I was just re-reading it over and make sure my grammar and punctuation and wording was correct, and spelling of course." She nodded in understanding. "So you are a writer?" Her eyes widen in amazement. "That's amazing, I wish I could be able to do that but I have no little to know patients so I stick to reading." She shrugged.

She took a bite of one of her truffles looking out the lake before Turing back to everyone else. "So since we are all here why not tell each other random facts about each other? I'll go first....hmm... " She leaned in close to the group dramatically. "My favorite flower are the snapdragons but not what the muggles think. The once that comes alive." Her smile widen as she remembered the first time her mom had came home with the snappy plant.

Verla giggled and said "Random facts? Okay, um... I love cookies! Which reminds me-" Verla said and took out her own cookie bag from her bigger bag. She stuffed her book inside and smiled at them all as she nibbled on it. Then she gave some to her bowtruckle and he munched on it. He seemed to like them too.

I hope Clarke doesn't notice my crush on him. Keep cool Verla she told herself. She waited for the others to tell their facts as munched on her cookies. She hoped the others wouldn't notice her little crush either, though she couldn't control her feelings and how she reacted to them. She could control how she handled them, which was easier than reacting to them. She shook her head, that made no sense whatsoever. Verla continued to smile at her possible new friends. She liked them, they invited her to stay with them while they ate their lunch and converse with them.

They were kinder than her friend Levi, which was surprising, but he went home without warning her so she could convince him not to go, she wrote that in her book too. She began to wonder of what her parents were doing and how they were handling her new little sister.

Are we doing one person each round or does it not matter?

If Clarke was being honest he was only partly listening to the conversation, staring off across the lake and getting lost in the scenery. He loved looking out over the water, it reminded him of home a lot. But not just of that, the best parts of home. When being inside around his parents got too much he could just leave the house and walk down to the beach and stare out over the ocean. It made the lake the best part of the whole school.

He turned when her heard Verla explaining her book and nodded appreciatively, and smiled when Dianna brought up having no patience for it. "I don't even have patience for reading" He said, "my mom joked she'd have to only send me howlers while i was here because I wouldn't read them myself. And I'm so absentminded a letter yelling at me might just get my attention." He laughed lightly.

"So since we are all here why not tell each other random facts about each other? I'll go first....hmm... " Dianna said as Clarke looked back over at the lake. he listened to them each list a random fact about themselves before he piped up himself. "My dads a pro quidditch player and he wants me to be one too but my mom hates that idea," he shrugged, "so basically my fun fact is that I have no idea what I want to do in life" he laughed.
