He smiled when she said that his drawing was really good. A lot of people never really saw it as anything. He was happy here. Being able to do the one thing he did when he was tired. He wanted to try a new style in drawing since it had been in his mind for a while now. No color, just a pencil and shading. This would be difficult he knew it.

He was a bit surprised though when she said the drawing was him. Not in a way that he didn’t see it, it was just that ( for some weird reason ) he didn’t recognize his face. He thought she was just drawing any other boy. “Yeah I see it! For some reason my brain didn’t recognize my face!” he said giving a small chuckle.

He was glad that she agreed to him drawing her. He got a new paper and started sketching out her face. He tried to memorize her face when she agreed to letting him sketch her face since she had faced the other way and went back to drawing. It felt good to draw after studying for a long time. He wondered if she would like it.

After a long while, he broke his pencil. Of course. Why hadn’t he seen this coming. He sharpened his pencil up. For a second he tried to remember how her hair looked like twirling his pencil in his hands. Then “Ouch!” he said. He had poked himself with his pencil and it hurt a bit. There was a mark now on his hand. It was a good 5 seconds before he realized his hair turned blonde from his metamorphagus powers. He blushed in embarrassment and just continued drawing hopping no one noticed. No one new his secret. Not yet. Finally he finished. “Hows this?” he asked showing her his drawing

Ebony laughed when Oliver said he somehow didn't recognise his own face. She proceeded to add to Lily's face, and when it was finished, she stuck both of their faces onto the same piece of paper. She added books, trees, the lake, whatever she could think of on the sides, the empty spaces to fill it up but left a big hole there, planning to do something because the art didn't seem quite complete.

She didn't know what was missing though, so she proceeded to look at Oliver who was drawing intensely. So far, his drawing looked quite like her. She also turned to look at Lily, who was still colouring peacefully but she mainly focused her view on Oliver because he was drawing her. Besides, his pencil just broke and Ebony wondered if she should help, but he had sharpened it before she could offer.

Suddenly, Oliver poked himself with his pencil. Ebony gasped. She knew how much it hurt. "Are you okay?" she asked. A second later, she noticed that Oliver's hair suddenly looked a little lighter, blonder, then before. She frowned and shook her head a couple of times, not sure if her eyes were playing a trick on her. It was probably just a reflection of light, she thought. People's hair did look lighter when sun shined on it, after all, but she couldn't help doubting what she saw.

Could he be... She shook away her suspicions when Oliver showed her his drawing. "That's amazing! Really looks like me," she laughed.

"Mind if I take this?" she gently took the drawing and stuck it in the hole she left, in between her drawings of Oliver and Lily and smiled. The perfect picture.

She thankfully hadn’t noticed his hair change. Or so he thought. His finger did hurt but it was a minor injury. Nothing life threatening. ”I’m okay. It happens sometimes. By sometimes I mean most of the time!” he said laughing before he went quiet. This was the library, and no doubt the Librarian would kick him out if he was too loud!

He was happy when she told him that his drawing was really nice. He smiled. She had taken his drawing of her. He liked it when people liked his drawing. It made him happy. Drawing in general did. It was his own Island Getaway from the crazy things in his everyday Ravenclaw student life. This made his brain hurt. He wanted to just relax. He felt sick. He had been going crazy with schoolwork- not to mention archery club.

”I’m feeling- a bit- a bit sleepy” he said yawning. His head drooped a bit. He quickly sat back up and started a new drawing, this time, a girl and a boy, the boy was a year older or so. They were doing archery in the middle of a field. He smiled at the thought but also frowned. He missed home. He missed his sister Olivia.
