Ciel was very aware that she was loud. It came with living on her farm. Half of the time, nobody could hear you unless you were shouting at the top of your lungs. Not to mention, her brothers would have shouting contests to see who could be louder than the other. On the Saskia Farm, if you were quiet, something bad could happen.
Like that one time she was almost run over by cows... had Ciel's father not shouted out in time, she would probably be toast!
The Grounds was really pretty this time of year, with how the leaves and trees had begun to turn various shades of red and orange. Except for the evergreens, but Ciel liked them anyway. Green was a good and solid color. But it wasn't as vibrant as red- which could arguably be her favorite color. Maybe yellow?
She began wondering her thoughts aloud, looking at the trees. "I wish they would stay this red all the time! Ooh, maybe there's a spell that makes trees a certain color! I should ask Rita- she'd probably know."
Unbeknownst to her, Ciel had already raised her voice quite a bit from when she had started talking. She really couldn't help it! It was probably one of her worst bad habits. Had she been bothering a student nearby, Ciel really wouldn't have noticed. After all, not everyone is used to having a loud family.

You're Bad News!
Taisia was studying for a quiz in History of Magic. It was her favourite class and she didn't want to study in the library today, so she decided to study in the grounds- where Huntress could run free. Only, the grounds weren't as quiet as they usually were. Some girl was obsessing over the colour of the tree leaves. The tree leaves! Taisia started to regret her decision. She decided to leave it for a bit- maybe she would shut up.
In the next 15 minutes or so Taisia got 2 questions done. 2. One question was a true or false question that she had known the answer to since she was 5 years old. Her lack of activity was because of that girl yabbering on about random, absolutely random things. Something had to be done about this distraction.
She had started going on about the colour of the tree leaves. What a ridiculous thing to obsess over! And then something about Rita knowing?
"Hey! Hey you- could you please keep it down about the leaves? I'm trying to study for History of Magic and you are being quite disturbing!"
It was a bit harsher than Taisia's usual degree- it should have done the trick! But apparently the girl still couldn't hear her over her exclamations. Groaning, she stood up and stomped over to the girl, her little blue cat following behind.

"Hey! Hey, you- could you please keep it down about the leaves? I'm trying to study for History of Magic, and you are being quite disturbing!"
Ciel pondered the girl's request. But she was outside, wasn't she? There really shouldn't have been a reason for her to oblige. In fact, there was such a thing of indoor and outdoor voices, weren't there? She was outside for a reason; she didn't really want to just shut up.
The girl stomped over to where Ciel was standing, admiring the trees. She had this pissed off face as she stood in front of Ciel. But she didn't look nearly intimidating as Ciel had thought she might've looked. Oh but, she should probably deescalate the situation before it got worse.
"But you're outside, aren't you? If anything, you should be thinking aloud just as loud as I am!" At the end of her sentence, Ciel raised her voice. It wasn't loud enough for anyone to really pay attention, but she hoped it would get the point across. "Besides, it looks nice outside, doesn't it? You should pay more attention to the colors out here. It's very pretty."
Ciel wasn't entirely sure if the other girl would take her seriously, and she would understand if she didn't. But there was truth in her words, the trees did look rather lavish at this time of year. It was just early enough that they weren't losing their leaves but relishing in the colors they brought. Though, the girl probably didn't care too much. After all, she clearly had a passion for History of Magic. Bleh. How boring could you get?

Thinking aloud? How could she think aloud? She was here for peace and quiet! It was a Tuesday afternoon, why wasn’t she studying?
Taisia looked disdainfully at her cat, Huntress. Clearly this girl wasn’t as… motivated as her. The girl spoke again. Something about colours again, and how pretty it was. Well what it was was a school afternoon and- yep, the girl was definitely not doing a Herbology assignment. The tension radiating off Taisia was, well, a lot. All she had come to do was study!! For once she wasn’t in the library and for once she was taking study light heartedly. Well, as lightheartedly as she could get.
She took a breath and looked around. But whether her next four words were out of spite or ther were truthful, they were masked by a tongue of distaste and superiority.
“I don’t see it.”
She stomped back off to her spot, not bothering herself anymore with the girl.
So pretty and colourful! You should pay more attention to the colours! Taisia mocked the girl inside her head. You should be thinking aloud! Well sorry, but not everyone shared the same approach to studying -or rather lack of- as the loud girl.
What was this? Taisia had never heard herself thinking things saying things. She walked over to the girl, yet again.
“Look. For whatever reason, I can’t get you out of my head. You are too annoying. So one of us has to leave. It’s my afternoon of simple study, so could you please do it?”

Leave? Ciel's face contorted in confusion. Why would she have to leave the great outdoors, all because some wacko Ravenclaw girl wanted the world to fall silent? That didn't seem fair at all. If Ciel wanted to hangout outside and observe the beautiful fall leaves, who was this girl to stop her? Hmph, maybe this girl just needed to see how beautiful it truly was outside- yeah, that would show her!
Ciel decided to ignore the comments and then pointed to a patch of evergreen trees. "Did you know that evergreen trees are part of the Pinaceae family? And did you know that you can technically eat pinecones, so long as you prepare them properly?" Ciel put her hand on her chin, and then added to her sentence. "They taste bad though."
She had recalled a moment when her father had mentioned the above fact. Something about him and her uncle being lost in a forest without any food and having to make do with pinecone soup... Ugh, just the thought was making Ciel shiver in disgust. Being stuck in a cold, damp forest, and being forced to eat pinecone soup as your only meal was quite the queasy sight!
"Why'd you come outside if you weren't gonna look at the greenery here? Or like, the lack of greenery." Ciel motioned to the red and orange trees. "Wouldn't you rather do your studying of whatever you're doing inside the library? Or the common room or something?"
