Oliver was in Diagon Alley looking around with his brother Scorpius since Oli needed to buy some new supplies since he had lost and broken a few of his things in school. Like the big brother scorpius was, he was going to let Oliver do everything while he would just eat ice cream at the ice cream shop. Oliver scowled as he walked away. He was the big brother wasn't he? He was supposed to help him out.

A bit grumpy he looked around looking for the quill shop when he passed a shop with many peculiar sounds. "Hoot Hoot, Meow, Prrrrr, Croak, squeak" When he heard the sounds his brain completely forgot about why he was here in the first place. He read the sign above ( what he assumed ) the pet shop. "Magical Menagerie. Wouldn't hurt to take a look right?" He said.

He walked in the wow there were a lot of animals. Birds, no Owls, toads, cats, frogs and- circles cotton ball like animal? He thought as he looked at a cage filled with little creatures that looked like a pink cotton ball. He read the sign under. Pygmy puff. He kept looking around eager to see more, but he bumped into a woman who was feeding some of the animals. "Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!" he said helping her pick up the food that had fallen. "No worries dear! Are you looking for a pet?" said the woman. Then Oliver realized she was the keeper of the shop. He looked at the money he had. 15 galleons. Without thinking, he said yes.

He knew his mom would say yes. She was the pet person but she just hadn't bought a pet yet. His dad, much less likely. He was allergic to many kinds of animals. "Okay dear, take your time and approach me if you want to buy or ask questions about any of the animals here!" the woman said. Oliver looked around finding a pet that was not so playful like one of the pygmy puffs that was rolling around over and over again. He didn't think his dad was allergic to birds so he went to the area where the birds were. Looking around, he saw many owls. He recognized a few breeds but the rest, he didn't recognize anymore.

He looked around for a while before finding the pet he wanted a white arctic owl. The owl seemed to be just like him. Calm and patient. He sat there as if he was waiting for Oli to take him out unlike the other owl's who were pecking at the cage. "This one- this is the one." he said to the lady. Thankful that the payment was exactly 15 galleons, he left the shop with his new owl. "Were going to be great friends Wisdom" he said to his new pet smiling.
