Lucas stood with his parents on the platform, saying his final good byes and getting some last second advice from each of his parents. Both echoed similar messages about them being proud of him regardless of what house he ended up in, with his dad whispering to him that he better not end up in Hufflepuff, before ruffling his hair and stepping back.

"Bye then." Lucas said rather unceremoniously, before stepping onto the train with a relived sigh. He'd acted impassively in front of his parents, but as soon as he stepped onto the train, he couldn't hold back his grin, his excitement very obvious. He just needed to find somewhere to sit, which made him more nervous than he expected. Having been homeschooled and an only child, he had little experience with people around his age, so he wasn't even really sure what he'd talk about with someone.

He stuffed his head into what he initially thought was an empty carriage, only to see there was a lone girl sat in there. "Oh, uh.. Hi, do you mind if I sit with you? I'm Lucas." He opened the door wider, half stepping into the carriage already.

Pandora, immersed in watching outside, comes to her senses when someone calls out to her. Her eyes met with blonde hair and brown eyes waiting at the door.

"Of course you can sit. Hello LucaS, I'm Pandora. But you can call me Dora for short if you want. Isn't it very different? A school for witches and wizards, isn't it like another universe.

Okay, Pandora was a little too excited. She used to talk a little too much, but she knew a warrior shouldn't be chatty. Starts to look outside. After a short silence, she starts speaking again:

"Where are you from? Are you from London?"

Yes, he didn't know what to say. But it wouldn't hurt to talk. It wouldn't hurt to ask a few questions, but.

"What are your hobbies? Do you know what SCP is? Your favorite SCP? I guess mine is the starry eyed chideren."

She had once researched SCPs to investigate his story she had made up. But her favorite was the starry eyed children. Her siblings loved this story. When she thought of her brothers, she thought of Sam's jealousy. Pandora was upset when she thought about it. She hadn't said a good goodbye to Sam.

Lucas blinked at the sudden onslaught of questions, stepping into the carriage and closing the door behind him. "Different how..? He frowned, lowering himself onto the seat opposite her. "It's pretty normal I think, everyone in my family has gone to Hogwarts, were your parents not wizards?""

She definitely was chatty, which made it easier for him to relax as he didn't have to put much effort, just let her talk and respond and he'd probably be okay. "London, yeah. What about you?"

"Quidditch is probably my only hobby, but I don't really get to play much because we live in London, so we have to wait until my dad isn't working and can take us out into the country side to fly." He once again blinked, visibly very confused as she began to talk about SCPS. "SC..P? He echo'd back slowly, very evidently not being familiar with the term.

"Starry Eyed Children..? I've never heard of one of these SCP things or about any starry children eyes." Lucas seemed both confused and slightly panicked. He wasn't sure if he was out of the loop of something he should know, or maybe she was simply muggle-born and it was some muggle stuff.

When she heard that her whole family was wizards, she couldn't help thinking how nice it would be if all of her own family were wizards. Only memories that his mother told as fairy tales knew Hogwarts.

"Trefriw. The name may sound strange, but it is a beautiful country. We live near the forest. This allows us to do activities such as camping."

When the boy said he liked to play Quidditch, Pandora hesitated, trying to recall her mother's memories of the subject.

When he said she didn't know what SCP meant, she saw that she was a little scared and panicked, and he couldn't understand why. She wondered why he should panic if she didn't know.

"I see you're panicking. Why did you panic? Don't the wizards know? The SCP foundation is an organization that studies, preserves, and experiments strange beings. SCP is called the strange beings out there. But don't worry, they're not real."

She believed that what he said would calm Lucas down. The mage was definitely not the way she had read it.

"Well, what is wizarding world like? I've only seen the Diagon road for now. My mom says there are many magical creatures like unicorns and dragons."

"Treefew does sound pretty strange, yeah." He nodded in agreement, blissfully unaware of how badly he was butchering the name. Living near a forest did sound much nicer than living in London, he imagined that he'd of gotten to fly much more if they had a forest or anything else near by. "Never been camping before, but it sounds kind of fun, I guess." Although, he did imagine the muggle experience of camping would be quite to different to how a Wizarding family would find it.

"I dunno if I would say I was panicking, I was just confused, for a bit I thought maybe it was something I should know." He explained, before adding on. "I don't think wizards have them no, but it does just sound like stories. We do have stories, but they're probably different to yours."

"Diagon alley is cool, yeah." He grinned as she turned the conversation towards stuff he actually knew about. "Yeah, all those things exist, but I don't think they're very common. I haven't seen dragons or unicorns anyway." He paused, trying to think of what the Wizarding World was like. He didn't have any point of comparison after all, as it was all he knew. "Uh, I suppose the Wizarding World is.. Just more magicy I suppose. Anything a muggle can do, we can probably do with less effort... Uh.. I don't really know what else to say about it, I dunno much about muggles and how they live so I can't really compare, sorry."

"While I was wandering around Diagon Alley, I saw that you don't have books like muggles. Pictures or photos don't move in Muggle books."
"It's very fun. You fry marshmellows by the fire and sleep with the stars at night. It's a good time to show your arrow skills."

Pandora was a little offended by the fact that she didn't give any information about the wizarding world. If he was going to be a warrior, she had to know about the world.

"What kind of books do you like to read? Do you like Hyvan? What is your favorite animal?"

She was getting a little too curious, Pandora was aware. So he started looking out the window. The view is beautiful, Pandora thought. At this point, she felt hungry.

A little later he saw an old witch pulling a carriage. She saw that there were colorful candies in the car. She realized it was a food truck. According to his mother, she would go around the compartments and give snacks to those who wanted a snack in exchange for money.

"I'll have a cauldron cake and a chocolate frog."

She counted the money from his pocket and handed it to the woman, then turned to Lucas.

"You're going to get something, aren't you?"

"Seems quite boring if your pictures aren't moving. Our paintings can move and talk too, which is cool I guess." He quietened back down as he listened to her explanation of camping. "Not sure how much fun shooting a bow sounds though, it's quite.." He paused, trying to think up a more polite way of saying what he wanted to say. "Backwards?"

Hyvan was yet another word that drew a blank from him, and he looked back at her, his confusion more than evident on his face. "I don't know if I've really got any type of book I like to read, but I didn't mind reading some of the books we were forced to buy to come here." He had at least tried to skim read through the books, only reading a couple of them in full detail if they fully managed to grasp his attention. "Not sure what this 'Hyvan' thing is either, is it another muggle thing?"

He hadn't ever really tried to think of a favourite animal before, so he hesitated slightly before finally saying. "Dogs maybe? I think a lot of people would say that, but dogs are cool."

Lucas' sat upright quickly as the the trolley pulled up to their door, a grin appearing on his face once again. He fished around in his coat pockets, pulling out his small sack of money. "Yeah, I'll get stuff." He nodded, quickly glancing over the options. He probably shouldn't spend too much, so after a moments deliberation, he finally flicked over the money asking for a single chocolate frog. "What kind of sweets do muggles normally eat? Probably not these, right?"

Laughing, Pandora reached into her bag and pulled out the book she had been reading before she got here.

"Look, this is the 'Shadow City' book. I think you'll like this series. The pictures don't move, but the subject matter is beautiful. I think try. My mother described the pictures that can move and talk. At Hogwarts, the people in the picture were even going to other portraits.

She put the book next to her. She respected his opinion about using arrows. There was no obligation that everyone would like everything.

“I guess I'm a fan of fantasy. It's my favorite genre and the genre I read the most."

Yes, she said it wrong. Well done Pandora, she said to herself. "I didn't mean Hvyan, I meant animal, but it suddenly came out of my mouth as Hvyan. What a strange word, isn't it? I love rabbits very much. they are so cute "

She took his snacks and put them away. While eating the cauldron cake, she continued his book where he left off. Hearing Lucas talking, she put the book in her lap.

"No, normally the sweets don't jump or the pictures on the cards don't go away. What do you think of Muggles?"

((First, quick OOC apology for the long response wait, I had exams and then was moving back home, so I didn't get a chance to really write))

Lucas nodding along as she spoke about the book. "Maybe if I ever get the chance to read a muggle book, I'll try have a look at those then. And yeah, I imagine the Hogwarts portraits move around a lot, yeah. Our paintings at home do"

"I agree about Fantasy, yeah, but I imagine our fantasy books are probably.. Different." He paused for a moment, trying to picture what sort of stuff muggle fantasy would be. If he had to guess, probably stuff that was normal for his world, would take place in the wizarding world.

Lucas opened up his chocolate frog, briefly checking what the card was before setting it down besides him, and taking a bite out of it. "Bit of a strange word, yeah. Rabbits are cute, yeah." He nodded in agreement

What did he think of muggles? He had to pause before he answered, he didn't want to accidentally cause any offense to someone who was seemingly raised in the Muggle world. "Don't know a lot aboutm uggles, so it's hard to say really.. I guess maybe I pity them, having magic is so much easier than having to think up all these fancy.. I don't know the word, but all these fancy things that we can do so easily."[/color/
