The redhead beauty that was in his arms asking the boy when both of the students could make his infamous soft chewy choco chip cookies for his beloved yet sarcastic dear of a cousin known as Cassandra Ironwoods. As both the students softly swayed under the moonlight and the faint music coming from the Ball, Ronnie got quiet for a moment.

"Maybe somehow we'll have a chance to see each other over the Christmas holidays?"The Gryffindor girl asked her soon-to-be lover. Then an idea popped into his mind. "Here is a crazy idea! how about you and your family visit us during the holiday?"Ronnie smiled from ear to ear. "My siblings definitely would love to see you but I do not know about my father though,"Ronnie a bit hesitant.

"Do not fret whether he will like you or not. I am sure he will love you. I mean he always asked me who has captured my heart. He can be overbearing from time to time but he always meant well and wanted the best for his golden boy,"The Duellist let out a small chuckle. Sure, his brother is a star Quidditch player but secretly Ronnie knows that his father like him more than his brother.

"We can bake the cookies at my home and send it to Cash as their Christmas present. How's that sound?"Question the blue-grey-eyed boy. Ronnie knew by now that Cash did not like any kind of present but surely they could appreciate edible art and up to this point, no one could resist his infamous chewy soft choco chip cookies.

The boy nodded his head when Haley repeated his word by telling the green eyes girl his cousin's name. "Wait! you did not know? Are you sure you are their friend?"Ronnie let out a teasing smile. "But yes, Cash's name is Phoenix. In fact, it is their first name. Not sure why they did not want people to know their first name and I agree with you"The Duellist continues some more.

"Phoenix is such an awesome name. If I were them, I will boast my first name around,"He added still swaying with Haley. After Ronnie showed his vulnerable side, Haley launched a small speech about how he just needed to be him and did not conform to what people thought of him. The Brazilian let out a laugh when Hales said he looks like a golden retriever puppy and he can be a successful model.

"Why did people always say that to me? The golden retriever puppy part, not the model one,"He let out a genuine smile and kissed Haley's cheek as a way that he appreciate and listen to Haley's kind words to him. "I know I fall for you for a reason. You are not only beautiful but have a big heart too. The one before me was a fool for letting you go. You are someone that needs to be cherished at every waking moment"Ronnie rarely talked about Simon but was glad that things between Haley and Simon did not work out between them.

"But I am glad he is a fool. If not, you will not be here in my arms tonight"Ronnie then plants a kiss on Haley's forehead. Both the students still way with the soft music from the Ball as their background until Ronnie plucked up the courage to ask Haley what he wanted to ask. The silence after Ronnie popped the question and Haley's reply, make the usual calm and collected boy grow into a nervous mess.

At first, when Haley said yes without a doubt, Ronnie thought he heard it wrong and was ready for the rejection. But then what Haley said to him finally sank in. "Wait! really? I am not dreaming of this, am I?"Ronnie asked a little disbelieving and still kind of a bit shocked since Haley said yes the minute he had done asking the question.

Ronnie's question got answered by Haley when the girl leaned cautiously on her tiptoes and gently touched her lips to his. The Portuguese boy cups Haley's face in both of his hands and kissed her back with the same gentleness that Haley showed to him. "I do love you, you know,"Ronnie said as he pulled away a bit from Haley.

"You definitely make me feel the uttermost happiness right now. I love you, Haley Rose"He spoke up and then kissed his princess again.
