CL Archery club meeting

Pandora excitedly made her way to the open club area. It was her first club meeting. Everyone had received a letter the day before, so Pandora couldn't sleep because of excitement. She didn't want to be late. She had an arrow in her hand. God, do we have to bring the arrow or was she going to give it? She thought there was no going back now.

She was fast, almost running, not wanting to be late. She wondered what it would be like, knowing that his arrow skills were good, but was it enough?

While he was thinking about it, he saw her coming. Calm down, Pandora, you're a warrior, you'll get over it, she told herself.

She relaxed a little when he saw the surroundings. There were targets, and a short distance away were picnic mats and meals.

And she saw someone sitting on the corner of the picnic mat both reading and eating. She guessed it was Bailey. She spoke, trying to suppress her excitement.

"Hello, you must be Bailey, right. Or am I wrong. It wouldn't have happened at all."

Her voice sounded so excited, she couldn't control herself. She would never experience this.

'Calm down Pandora.'

Gavin was quite thrilled about the first meeting of the archery club. Archery was a massive contributor to his bond with his mother, considering that she was the one who taught him how to shoot in the first place. When he found out that there was a club at Hogwarts for exactly that, well, who was he to pass up such a golden opportunity?

Gavin headed down to the outdoor club area just a bit earlier than the meeting was supposed to start, not particularly wanting to walk up when it was already crowded. It was easier to adapt that way. His boots thumped against the ground as he went, hands tucked snuggly in the pockets of his sweatshirt. A beanie covered his ears, protecting them from the rather frigid air of December.

When he finally got there, he noted two people. One, a blonde in neutral colours sitting on a picnic blanket with a plate of food and a book. The other was a girl with dark brown hair, looking to be around his age. Maybe a bit younger, considering he was born in October.

He chose to address the one on the picnic blanket, since she was clearly here first and also probably the leader of the club, Bailey. "Hi, I'm Gavin Faulkner. You're the leader of the club, right?" Once he got his response, he would make himself a cup of hot chocolate. You could never go wrong with hot chocolate, in his opinion.

Oliver had been minding his own business reading when he received a letter. He read the letter then smiled. It was his very first Archery Association meeting! He quickly went up to his dorm and put on a scarf and put on his Tan sweater. He also grabbed his bow and arrows that he had asked his mom to send from home when he had first joined the club. Then, he headed for the Outdoor Club Area as said in the letter sent by Bailey Glade.

When he got there he noticed the targets set up and a picnic blanket set up too with a bunch of food on it. He was excited about the salad and hot chocolate since he was very hungry and they were both his favorite things. He also noticed 3 other people, a girl in a mix black and tan clothing who he figured was the head of the club and another girl he noticed as Pandora, a girl he met in Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour before he went to Hogwarts, and another boy he didn't recognize. He was talking to the head of the club.

He approached the head of the club once they finished talking and said ”Wow this place looks great! Better than I could do! I'm Oliver! I have tried archery many times before. And I suppose you are Bailey Glade?" he said smiling. He likes the outdoors, the cold breeze brushing his warm but somehow cold hands. There was no better place to do archery.

Oliver jokingly asked Bailey ”There are more members right?" he was excited. He was going to see and meet some new faces in a while. ”Mind if I take a few shots?" he asked her. He had once gotten a coach for archery though he wasn’t “good” in his eyes. He was decent at it. He held his bow, it was new since his mom decided to buy him a new one made of metal. He wasn’t really familiar since this wasn’t the bow he grew up using but he would get used to it.

When Pandora heard that she had come to the right place, she relaxed and sat down on the picnic mat. I guess she should have started the conversation, but she didn't know how to start it so she started to eat the sugary things on the cover.

Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced at the boy she had learned her new name was Gavin. he was a fair-skinned boy with curly dirty blonde hair and bright gray eyes. Pandora thought it was sweet.

She smiled when she saw Oliver coming. Pandora was somewhat relieved to see someone familiar. It was more comfortable.

While he was eating some more, he saw another girl with dirty blonde hair and dark green eyes coming this time. She was just a little excited as she felt.

She remembered that she forgot to introduce herself, which actually made her feel a little embarrassed.

"Maybe I forgot to say my name. My name is Pandora. We were going to bring arrows ourselves, right?"

Okay, she spoke the same way again. If they had talked, she wouldn't have stopped. Meanwhile, sitting next to Bailey on the blanket was presumably Kim Aoki. Meanwhile, she saw a movement in Kim's bag and saw the spinning wheel of something that looked like a fluffy ball inside. She involuntarily laughed when he saw Bailey jump into her lap.

"What's that thing? It's so cute.

Cash was trying to cram up on the last pile of homework before Christmas break rolled in. They had strong dislikes towards both History of Magic and Transfiguration. If both subjects were not mandatory lessons, Cash would leave both subjects in the dust a long time ago. The green eyes heaved up a breath of frustration when they hit a dead end on one of the questions on their Transfiguration homework when they hear the soft hoot of an owl flying above them.

They did not pay much into it until a letter falls directly on top of their Transfiguration textbook. The fourth-year tried to keep their concentration on the task they had working on but the letter taunted them to open it up. Cash then pushed aside their useless textbook and succumbed to the letter.

Their eyes follow every word that the letter said and the letter was sent by one Bailey Glade about the next meeting for Archery Association. Cash hurriedly cleared out the table and walked up to where their dorm was located. Once they arrived at their dorm, they change from the mandatory school uniform into an outfit that fit the occasion.

They grabbed their enchanted satchel and store their arrows, quiver, and all of their Archery essentials in the satchel. Once they deemed they were presentable enough, they began their track toward where the meeting will be located. One short walk later, they arrived at the meeting point. It seems some people already gathered in the Outdoor Club Area and their eyes landed on the target's practice.

The last time they show the student bodies their Archery skills was when the school had Show Your Unique Talent errand and it feels like ages ago. Not only that Glade also provided nice beverages and food. While waiting for the other members to arrive, their green eyes bounce from one person to the next.

It seems some of them are quite young judging from their faces. Cash then put down their enchanted satchel on one of the corners of the picnic blanket and helped themselves by grabbing one of the fruit salad bowls, some grilled cheese sandwiches, and a cup of water. The Beater then took a seat with a respectable amount of distance between Glade and the other members.

"This is quite a nice setup you got going on there,"Cash gave out their rare compliment towards Glade. Then Aoki came bearing his own food. He told Glade that he brought some grilled chicken skewers and vanilla pudding for everyone. Cash let out a subtle sigh. Thank Merlin someone decided to bring a decent meal into this thing they thought to themselves.

Cash then grabbed some skewers and returned to their position. "You seems everywhere, Aoki"Cash let out a chuckle when they saw Kim amongst the attendee. The Cuban descendant was not had much of a sweet tooth so they avoid anything sweet and just stick what they already grabbed from the table while waiting for the other members to arrive.
