Since you don't have a special talent/race, you get 7 abilities and are full human.
You could choose Animagus as one of your abilities because of this!

The following are basic ones that can apply to anyone!

Advanced Casting (no prerequisite)
Statistically Relevant (no prerequisite - you can get up to 2 times)
Wandless Magic (You need wisdom 20)
Nonverbal Magic (Must either have wandless magic or be at least Fifth Year.)
Animagus (5th year or later)
Apparition (6th year)
Advanced Apparition (7th year)

If you are interested in a sport like dueling or quidditch you can also take abilities that will help you with the sport! And you can always give Keith a binding mark in a later year, maybe it can even become a story line

I signed Keith up for broom racing, what would help him with that? *goes to look*
