Closed What? Im not lost?! Pv Kayla Realma

Charms homework, check.
Kayla was returning from a rather uninteresting quest at the library, in an attempt to finish some homework that was due. Kayla was supposedly supposed to go back to the Hufflepuff common room, as she needed to feed Squeaky, but Kayla was a bit more in the mood to go outside for a jog or something more eventful. But as she was still in her robes, this was not an option, so she had to head back to get changed.
Maybe Squeaky will want to come with? Kayla thought as she turned a corner and heard someone cursing.

Kayla curiously followed the voice of what was seemingly a boy and was greeted by a fellow Hufflepuff once she located the voice, She knew him, or atleast she thought so. There were so many Hufflepuffs it was honestly exhausting trying to keep up with everyone.

"Hey, you okay?" Kayla asked him, brushing a bit of hair out of her face. "not lost, are you? Hogwarts is huge, getting lost is a daily basis thing." Kayla laughed quietly at the sentance she had just uttered, huge was a huge understatement. She wasnt about to jump to conclusions, but the boy had a lost expression on his face, and he seemed frustrated.

Curiosity kills, but Kayla was curious.

As André was slumped ageist the wall a girl started talking to him he quickly got up "What? Oh yeah. Yeah I'm fine" He was avoiding eye contact, something he did often when he lied. But this girl didn't need to know that. The next thing she said made André roll his eyes.

"Hogwarts is huge ill give it that, but I'm definitely 100% not lost." again a lie, he didn't want the girl to know he couldn't find his way. As he definitely could. He cleared his throat, "My name is André, and I was on my way to the hufflepuff common room. Sooo umm- I'm going to go that way.. now.."

He looked at the hallways, now what. He couldn't just take it back? "So what's your name..?" he was stalling, Trying to think of what way the room was. He looked at her waiting for her to answer his question. Did she know were the common room was?

He started to wonder if he should tell her he was lost. He decided against it for now for a few reasons. One there was always the chance she would laugh in his face and leave, two she might not know and he could embarrass her, and three he already told her knew were he was going.

Yep, he's lost.

Saying you're "one hundred percent not lost" was just a direct message that you indeed are one hundred percent lost.

As he continued to talk, Kayla learnt his name
André.
That wasn't an English name. Or Welsh as far as she knew. It hand an accent on the last syllable, Kayla liked that name compared to her own. The accent.
"Common room?" Kayla repeated, they were heading the same direction. That was something. "I'm heading there too! I'm Kayla, by the way." she added to him. A faint smile flickered on her face as he said he was going to head over there now, but he just looked in a distance at the corridor.
"Well, I going there. I''ll go with you if you want," she offered him, "I usually head this way. Down the stairs along that hallway." Kayla gestured with her head the other direction, where she was usually met by a downward staircase which usually headed to a familiar path to the common room, unless you were unlucky and the stairs decided to move. But other than that, you had nothing to worry about.

He hoped the girl he would lean her name is Kayla, that she wouldn't make a comment about how lost he was. turns out she was going to the same place as he was, This would be perfect! She offered to go with him, "If you really want to go with me then, yeah. Lets go together." He smiled at her, and rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. again he darted his eyes away. Eye contact was not his friend in these instates.

She pointed the other direction that he was about to head off in, "Down the stairs.." He repeated. Oh Right!! The moving stairs, Now hes starting to remember. "I like your name, Kayla. umm.. should we head off?" André started to walk in the diretion she pointed in with hopes that she would follow.

'Please let her follow so I dont get lost again.' he thought to himself, how embarrassing that would be if he got lost twice. Not that he would ever admit it to anyone. He wondered if this would be the start of a friendship, or if was just a here let me help you this time thing. André wanted it to be the ladder of the two scenarios.

Kayla smiled at his compliment.
"Thanks, yours is nice too! Say, what language is it? 'Cause it doesn't sound native to here." she asked curiously. As he suggested they start off, Kayla nodded and followed along next to this Andrè boy. She hummed quietly as they walked down the hallway. It was a long one and Kayla paused for a second as they were soon met by the staircase, as she predicted.
"The stairs, they move," she added to Andrè, he might've already known this. A lot of unlucky students were met by staircases that decided to move last minute. But the look she gave the stairs was probably undeserved, but it was somewhat miserable. After a few moments, Kayla shrugged and gestured he follow her.
"Hey, Andrè?" she asked him as she skipped on the stairs. "I find it strange that I haven't seen you in class. Because we're in the same class, the same year. Eh, I probably just don't pay attention." Kayla looked over at Andrè and smiled again before skipping two steps and jumping down, her shoes hit the floor with a crash and she stumbled a bit but she stood up straight and turned to Andrè, waiting for him to come down the rest of the stairs.

André smiled when she complemented his name "Thanks! to answer your question its French, My mom gave it to me, it means worrier." a bit of an over share but oh well. It was an amazing name. André could hear Kayla humming as they walked further down the hall way, they did soon reach the stairs.

"I hate that they move, doesn't help anyone get around this place." He commented when she said that they move. They just stood there for a few moments, André smiled when she gave the look to the stairs. In honesty he would do the same if he was alone. Probably would have blown a raspberry at them to for good measure.

He flowed her down the stairs when she started to walk down them. "Yes?" He responded to her saying his name.She pointed out how she hadn't seen his any classes, he laughed a bit. "You know, I don't think I've seen you either. I guess we both don't pay attention " He laughed. She jumped the last few steps and stumbled. Luckily it looked like she was fine. He smiled at her to, and he walked the last few steeps he asked "Do you like being a hufflepuff?" it was random but might as well make some small talk.
