...Kim's stats are really bad for dueling... But that's not his fault, it's the person behind the character's fault for being stupid and making mistakes that Kim will have to live with forever until enough time passes and he won't suck as bad as he does now with stats... however, it seems as if luck is on his side because he's doing pretty well with really bad stats! So I'm happy about that

Same thing here. Like, at first glance, Dave’s stats might be really well suited for dueling, but in reality, they kinda suck. I’ve learned that a spells power and the ability to cast it aren’t everything so when I make my next character, whenever that is, I will not be putting all of my focus into Wisdom like I did this time, and I won’t immediately max out my Arc.Kim Sato wrote: 21 Nov 2022, 03:12 ...Kim's stats are really bad for dueling... I grew up with overprotective parents who didn't let me do anything and then expected me to be independent as soon as I reached a certain age and I'm just like eh? how do you do this? You always told me not to do that and that I should let you do it for me. Now I don't know how to do it! I did learn though on my own and now can do a bunch of things I couldn't do in the past, so I grew!
I see her as my IRL younger sister now hehe!
We're both homeschooled, both play piano, both bake, both do taekwondo, both have the same kind of personalities etc... it's insane!

Yup as long as you don't choose 2 abilities that have a prerequisite of being a 2nd year. You can't 'save up' abilities to get 2 abilities that specifically state you have to be a certain year in order to obtain. But I don't think there are any abilities that have prerequisite for 2nd year, they are mostly for 5th, 6th or 7th years. So for the most part I think you should be fine with choosing any 2 abilities for yourself.

On the bright side though, I have all of this time to plan out my future character, and I get to have references when I need them, something I didn’t really get to do with Dave. And I was also very dumb to choose Sixth Sense as Dave’s first ability. Anyways, now I really have to go.
